RHS Recommended: Award of Garden Merit winner Quick to crop with mild, crisp flavour Ideal for successional sowing and hardy growth Spring Onion ‘White Lisbon’ is a traditional favourite, renowned for its crisp white stems and fresh, mild taste. Highly versatile and easy to grow, it’s the most popular spring onion for both kitchen gardens and allotments. Fast to mature and suitable for sowing little and often, it provides a steady harvest from spring into summer. Hardy enough to overwinter when sown in autumn, ‘White Lisbon’ ensures a near-constant supply of fresh, crunchy onions that bring flavour and bite to salads, stir-fries, and garnishes.
