I’ve just eaten (one mouthful and the rest went in the bin) your chilli con carne for 1. Allegedly made by one of your chefs.
Let me tell you that most housewives send their kids off to Uni with a better recipe version than this was! Carne means meat… where was it?! It’s atrocious…. It’s sloppy, more like a soup consistency and without any depth of flavour AT ALL! Whoever’s on your tasting panel needs to learn more about good gutsy food..And if your ‘chefs’ can’t make a storming chilli con carne, it’s time to hang up their aprons and pack it in,

The food store was fine at Liberty Wharf in Jersey. The blonde lady with glasses behind till needs training in good manners.Appalling attitude.

We bought platters of mixed sandwiches for our group of elderly people. However, just before serving them we noticed that there were prawn sandwiches mixed into the other sandwiches; bread to bread, so they were touching each other. Although this isn’t illegal it goes against the health & safety guidelines. I emailed M&S and had a reply, which made me think they would perhaps be withdrawn and the prawn sandwich placed apart in the platter. No contact with the others. I googled this morning and they are still on sale. I emailed twice again this morning and had replies from 2 different people who say they always follow food safety guidelines. Obviously they don’t. Although the packaging lists the sandwiches; it’s a school boy error to put them together. I hope many people read this and make a complaint. It may save someone’s life. Such a shame as the sandwiches were delicious.

Just been into M&S Beaconsfield. I was going to do a food shop but I also wanted to see their Valentines Dine in for 2 options.
I asked a middle aged man who was stocking up the shelves around 1.30 today. He couldn’t have been more OFF Hand. Oh my mistake, these items are not in store until tomorrow as Valentine’s Day is not until Saturday. I’ll be going elsewhere for my meal and wine for 6!
