Thank you for your feedback. Please note that the best before dates you see on the packs are an indication for ambient storage. Here's some useful information on the shelf life of our products:
Our Pearls, Cakes, and Brownies have a shelf life of up to 5/7 days in a cool cupboard as displayed by our ambient best-before dates. They can last up to 30 days when refrigerated from receipt or for up to 2 months when frozen from receipt.
Our Layer Cakes should be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days, until the best before date shown, or can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months from receipt.
Our Frosting Spreads have a shelf life of up to 3 months when stored unopened in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened store in the fridge below 5°C and consume within 30 days.
We always advise storing your Pearls, Cakes, and Brownies in the fridge or freezer from the day of arrival, especially during the warmer months, and if you know you won’t be consuming them all before their ambient best-before dates. We pack our cakes full of healthier, real ingredients such as fruits and veggies so we recommend placing these treats directly in the fridge or freezer upon receipt in order to maintain their quality and freshness for longer.
We always try to ensure that our customers are aware of the shelf life and correct storage methods for our freshly baked products. As well as being listed on each product page and the FAQs on the website, we also advise this in our order confirmation emails, on the product packs, and with our in-box flyer with all orders despatched.

Not my 'cup of tea'
I can't fault the delivery and service but, unfortunately, these cakes were not for me.
I ordered 6 different flavours and none of them stood out. The cake part had an aftertaste which wasn't pleasant. I still have some left and have given some away.

Lovely BUT….
All the pearls are lovely but when you order 16 packs to receive the free delivery and 5 packs have been replaced without your knowledge is very disappointing. No vanilla pearls, No chocolate pearls and cherry Bakewell pearls. Ordered again a week later and these flavours still say available on the website so ordered those ones again and had them replaced again without receiving a courtesy email to say your items are unavailable. So I won’t be ordering from you again unfortunately.

Fast delivery - best before already passed:(
Really fast delivery and I received all the correct items - very happy. However, one of my items has a best before date of the day it arrived (17/07/25) so bit disappointing that it’s already passed its best before.
