Scammed and/or misled by ManyChat. In 8 weeks I've organically earned 8.000 followers for two instagram business profiles that had only 4.000 followers. 'Say Hi to new followers' didn't work. Asking for help didn't work. Service requests werent asnwered. result: ZERO value added by ManyChat, hours and thousands of opportunities lost because of ManyChat.

Total scam. I subscribed specifically for the automated welcome message for new followers, but it's completely broken and just shows as 'unavailable'. I've been paying for three months now, the issue remains unfixed, and it's impossible to get ahold of customer support. Don't waste your money.

Very disappointing pricing model. Manychat charges you for “active contacts” simply because someone messages your Instagram account — not necessarily because they received or engaged with meaningful automation. If one of my followers sends me a message, that contact is suddenly counted toward billing, even though the lead came through my own audience and not through Manychat’s services.

This becomes extremely expensive very quickly. Charging around $170 for just 250 contacts is excessive for such limited use. Definitely not worthwhile for the value provided.

Signed up specifically for Auto 'Hi' for new followers. It doesn't even work. It just says unavailable. No support/no information. SCAM COMPANY!

Customer service and reply rate is pretty bad. No body is seeing what sort of problems we are having using the platform. I just need an automation and i dont know what to do, and they have already got my card info before i can do anything. A bit untrustable

Utterly pointless. Wont send any automations. Only works if your content "fits the mold". God forbid your content speaks truth. Then you've no chance with this service.

If you want to unsubscribe then it won’t end your subscription and you have to block your card. Support team is telling you that you are successfully unsubscribed but still charging automatically your money so you won’t notice it.

I subscribed to a service for ManyChat pro for R$149 and was charged R$448 for an aditional Manuchat Ai Add-On i did NOT SELECT. The checkout showed R$149 as the prompt for payment and simply charged me R$448. The service is DEACTIVATED on the website and still the company refuses to refund the payment difference of R$299. Opening a dispute with Credit Card Company.

Stopped working over a month ago, support admitting it is a Meta problem. Nothing done to resolve it and they offered me just 20% off one months subscription. Why would I keep paying for something that does nothing and doesnt work?? It's a shame as it was great when it did work. Sunscription cancelled.

Estafadores. Ofrecen ese software medio pelo que no termina de resolver nada y lo que tiene. es un marketing tremendo encima. De paso no tienen ni una persona de atención al cliente, son todos bots. Hice la prueba, te dicen que te dan el reembolso antes de los 30 dias y es todo mentira. 0 Recomendado. Perdí 358 dólares por intentar trabajar con ellos.

My experience using ManyChat has been really positive overall, especially once I got past the initial learning curve. At first, the platform felt a little overwhelming because there are a lot of features and the flow builder takes some time to understand. It wasn’t immediately intuitive how everything connected, especially when setting up conditions and automations.
However, once I spent some time exploring and watching a few tutorials, it started to click. One of the most valuable things I noticed is how much time it saves. Instead of manually responding to every message or comment, I can set up automated responses that instantly send the right information to people. This is especially helpful when managing a lot of engagement at once.
I also really like how customizable it is. You can create different paths depending on what someone clicks or says, which makes the interaction feel more personalized rather than just a generic response. It feels less like a bot and more like a guided conversation.
If I had to point out a downside, it would be that building more advanced flows can still be a bit confusing, and it takes practice to feel confident using all the features. But overall, I think the value it provides outweighs the difficulty of learning it.
In general, my experience with ManyChat has shown me how powerful automation can be for turning social media engagement into something more meaningful and actionable.

SCAM! Seeing the stupid Youtube ad I installed and linked it with my Insta account for automating my DMs reply. And my reach stopped suddenly for all the reels since I installed this app. I had an older reels crossing 600k and reach/views stopped on that too.
Please refrain from linking it with your social media accounts

I didn't even know who Manychat is until I received a fraudulent charge for $95. After calling my bank to report charges, I googled them & apparently they are a legit company. Now my question is how did they get my card# & why did they charge me.

The most embarrassing customer experience I’ve had in a long time.

I was billed on an increasing number of contacts instead of actively interacted ones, which contradicts their pricing.

Their generic automated support responses were unhelpful and blamed me for misunderstanding the terms, despite the clear difference between my usage and the public pricing.

I strongly advise anyone to avoid their service. There are many much cheaper and reliable alternatives that don’t resort to fraudulent and unclear pricing models.

I think they have probably 1 person for customer support. My ticket is open since 3-4 weeks and I didn‘t get any response at all.
