Die Malte Marten Method Workshops sind der Hammer. Ich bin so begeistert und als absolute NewBee wurde ich in den 3 Stunden Workshop auf sehr anschauliche Weise an die Handpan herangeführt. Malte Marten's classes are very clear and easy to follow. It has helped me understand my handpan more and how to play properly. I have learned different patterns, rhythms, & tempos and am feeling much more confident in my ability to play. I highly recommend of of Malte Marten's classes and videos.

Leicht zu lernende Pattern mit denen man schnell Erfolg hat. Im Grundkurs wünsche ich mir mehr Abwechslung. Seit 3 Wochen gibt es kaum neue Aufgabenstellungen

The Handpan Fundamentals Course was fantastic. The explanations are very clear, and it allows you to approach music from a different perspective. Beyond the theory, there is a strong sense of energy that comes through—you can really feel that music is meant to be played and experienced. I should mention that I have never studied music, but I truly love this instrument and the way you manage to convey such emotion through it.

So ganz ohne Stress im eigenen Tempo zu lernen - was für ein Geschenk. Begonnen habe ich mit dem Gratiskurs und spürte sehr schnell, dass Malte nicht nur ein genialer Musiker ist, sondern dass seine Fähigkeiten als Lehrer ebenso außergewöhnlich sind. Seine unaufgeregte natürliche Art macht das Lernen ganz schnell zu einem genussvollen Eintauchen in die Welt der Handpantöne.
Inzwischen "genieße" ich den Beginnerkurs und freue mich über meine Fortschritte und vor allem über die spürbare Freude beim Üben.

I have only been taking part in the Handpan Fundamental’s course for a few weeks. My experience so far is positive. It is easy to navigate with clear instructions laid out in bite sized pieces so you can work on one step at a time. I’d recommend doing the beginners journey (if you are a beginner) first to get to know your instrument. I did even though I’ve been playing for two years. I come from a place of no musical experience. This instrument is one which you can pick up and with a few lessons you’ll be playing relaxing mediative grooves if that’s your bag. The course also includes challenges in the community forum. So you can try out your learning progress and get feedback from your peers. I’ve already found it welcoming. If you’re stuck this is a place to ask for help the team being super helpful. I feel I’ve found my tribe no regrets signing up and look forward to furthering my learning.

First, the lessons are clear, well done and broken into the proper size pieces. Second, the communications from the staff on questions and upcoming material is awesome..fast, and responsive. The approach works very well for ma and I have learned a lot already. The challenges are fun, the website and community are all phenomenal and well done and it is a pleasure to be sharing with people all over the world.

I felt drawn to the handpan but did not b know where to start. I never really believed I could be good at it. I just loved it. When I found Malte Marten he gave me the ability to use this beautiful instrument in ways I never knew I could do! The lessons are small and easy to understand and easy to follow. I love the repetition. My son is like, "Mom, is that YOU playing!?!?". Thank you for helping my heart come alive. I could not have done it without you.

I am so happy I discovered this course - I can follow Malte's method eventhough it's not always easy :) So far I have tried to practise every day and I feel as though my playing is already becoming more fluid. Thank you very much for having had this opportunity!

I enjoy Malte Marten’s gentle and encouraging approach to build confidence.each lesson builds on the previous and we have a week to go explore. The patterns are beautiful and we can build up speed as we improve. We are encouraged to be creative and make our own compositions. I am also eager to progress and become a good player as I learn the patterns and how to creatively combine them with melodies, dynamics and rhythm. I’m so grateful to play this amazing instrument!

Ik heb 3 weken geleden de handpan en cursus gekocht en ben nog steeds super blij. De handpan is snel geleverd en de cursus help om ook echt te kunnen gaan spelen. Er zijn korte instructie videos gemaakt om steeds meer te leren over de handpan en hoe hem te bespelen🤗

I 'm knew in this wonderful journey so everything for me is magical. I don't have yet a handpan so I'm studying on a blanket. That's really funny!!

Sehr gute und vor allem für Einsteiger, klar strukturierte Videos. Die Lernmethode ist gut aufgebaut, step by step und macht echt spass.

I love the course; being able to express myself through this magical instrument is incredible. I just wish I had more time to develop my skills and unlock all the magic it offers.

After utilising Malte Marten’s music to help me battle severe insomnia I thought I would try and take the next step and learn to play for myself. Malte’s mini series and beginner courses have been brilliant in starting me on my handpan journey. My skills have improved so quickly and playing the handpan has helped my insomnia even further. I highly recommend to anyone starting their handpan journey to sign up to Malte’s courses. It has been a wonderful journey so far!
