Ben responded quickly to my account problem. He made a suggestion to answer my question. I tried his suggestion and ran into a problem. He again responded quickly and accurately to help me find my answer. MailerSend tech support gets a 5 star from me today. I am a new customer on the Hobby plan. FYI-I am not a paid customer yet, but I am very impressed with the help I received today. Thanks Ben.

They refused to work with me with no explanation!
I’m currently developing a SaaS project and was looking for a transactional email service to handle user interactions. I decided to give MailerSend a try. The UI was intuitive and the setup process went smoothly. However, they asked me to complete a form detailing my project for verification purposes, which I took seriously and filled out thoroughly.
Unfortunately, they came back with a firm refusal and restricted my account without providing any specific reason. I reached out to their team for clarification, but their response remained vague and unhelpful. I also took the time to carefully read their Terms of Use, and my project did not in any way violate their guidelines.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially since I had already integrated MailerSend into my codebase and had to rewrite everything to switch to a different provider.

If you looked up the legal definition…
If you looked up the legal definition of Fraud by False Representation, you would see MailerSend. Even the name is misleading.
We wanted a cheap solution for transactional emails used internally. Clearly that was too much of an ask. They throw at you the SMTP relay credentials for you to plug into your application, & it doesn’t authenticate.
Nothing works with this company. Of course, they did the standard deflection practice that all staff use when they know that their product is s*** but can’t admit it by way of stating that “we have had no other complaints”, clearly not realising they have a Trustpilot profile with a one-star rating.
They then expect you to troubleshoot their product, like I have the time to do that. Unless a company is willing to pay me for my time, I will not troubleshoot another companies product. I design software myself, I would not dream of asking an end user to troubleshoot any software I design.
They even replied to their review claiming it works despite the mass of one-star reviews claiming the opposite.
Poor product, poor “support” staff. We closed our account within 24 hours.
