Excellent job. Great communication and swift service. A contrast with the stultifying corporate experience and cost of going to most apple suppliers/repairers.

My Macbook developed a keyboard fault, I took it into my nearest Apple store. They looked at it and said they couldn't give a definite price but estimated circa £500. I left it with them for investigation - they said they would email with more information and a quote to fix. They were then uncontactable by phone or email and never sent a quote - just an unintelligible voicemail after a week. After 2 weeks I made the hour-long journey to the Apple store again, to find thay they still couldn't give a firm quote or tell me definitely what was wrong. I took the Macbook back.
I found eFix on Trustpilot and emailed them. What a contrast! Reece explained their process and gave advice on packaging etc. I received a prepaid postage label on Tuesday, sent it off on Wednesday, repair booked in Friday, repair quote for new trackpad Monday, fixed and dispatched Tuesday, received on Wednesday. Total cost £200 including insurance, 2-way carriage and VAT.
Outstanding service in every respect. What a contrast with Apple! If you have a faulty Macbook, forget Apple and go straight to eFix.

After being told by the Apple Store that my 2.5 year old Macbook required a new logic board (quote approx £650), I got in contact with eFix. They managed to not only repair the machine for less than half the price quoted by Apple, but also managed to save the data. In addition to that, the service I received was amazing, with Reece taking the time to explain the issue and the options available to me. My Macbook came back working perfectly and I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommended - thank you so much Reece and team.

Excellent company. Was over the moon to find them online as I needed my laptop back quickly and had been quoted more than double the price by my local repair shop. The service was spot on. Reece communicated where necessary and even though I'd actually booked my laptop in under the wrong model so needed different parts, they still got it done in the 7 day time frame. Very impressed and would use again. Highly recommend.

Great service. I had damage to my LCD screen - Apple would not repair and recommended I buy a new Macbook. However eFix / Macbook repairs replaced the screen at a very reasonable price and Macbook now perfect again. Excellent communication and repair only took a few days , then posted back. From start to finish this company were beyond excellent. I was so stressed with what apple told me - that my logic board could not be repaired, and that I would lose all my data, so then to speak to the team at Mac Repairs who said they could fix it for a decent fee was music to my ears as a self-employed person. Their service is gold standard and I will be recommending to everyone. Friendly, knowledgable, speedy, affordable.

When my 16 Inch MacBook Pro developed a display backlight issue, I had it inspected by Apple (with hindsight, an expensive mistake), who found liquid damage that had apparently occurred with the previous owner of the machine. They wanted to charge me £2499 for a repair, which was absolutely ridiculous, so I started looking around for people who could repair it, rather than come up with a comical “solution” of replacing almost every component of the MacBook! I found eFix and having read the many highly positive reviews, decided to give the service a go. I sent my MacBook to them and within 5 working days, I was given a full description of what exactly was wrong, what could be done to rectify the issue and how much it would cost to do so. The price was almost a tenth that of the ridiculous Apple price, so I happily agreed to have the work done. The logic board was professionally cleaned and the cleaning process resulted in the display backlight functioning as normal again, as the corrosion around some of the components causing the backlight to refuse to come on had been cleared - No replacement parts required!

I want to thank eFix and in particular, Reece, who kept me updated regularly and even spent lots of time with me on the phone on more than one occasion, carefully explaining my options and what the best option was. The keyboard backlight had always been a bit uneven since I bought the MacBook, although it was only after finding out there had been previous liquid damage that I knew why. I asked Reece for a quote to fix this (which he quickly provided), but he advised me against getting the work done, as there was a chance that the keyboard could get damaged even more during repair, due to the risks associated with dried up liquid damage on keyboards. I think that this shows the integrity of eFix because they could have easily gone ahead with it, knowing full well that they could damage more and end up being able to get more money out of me with the extra work - but they are decent, honest people who put happy, satisfied customers above profit.

In conclusion then, a huge thank you from me to Reece and everyone at eFix for not only fixing my MacBook, but doing it with decency, honesty and at a great price as well. The price I paid is genuinely incredible, when you consider that it includes fully insured express shipping both ways! Another thing to consider is how much they are doing for the planet as well, by repairing and keeping lots of damaged MacBooks going, which would otherwise end up in landfill as e-waste.

Also, thank you for the candy canes and easy-peel sticker on my Mac when returned to me - it’s the little details like this which really show when people truly care! I highly recommend anyone send their MacBook in to eFix for any issues you’re experiencing and although (in a nice way!) I hope I never have to use them again, they will be the first place I go to, if the need ever does arise!
