My comment relates to both Clinique ands Evri. My parcel wasn’t delivered - allegedly on issue with my postal address … never happened before and I receive a lot of parcels! My parcel was returned to the retailer. Very poor. I challenge Clinique to find a more reliable courier as I for one will not be shopping with them again.
I use Clinique a lot, and I order from the website when there is a promotion on. I have no issues with their products. I joined the rewards program.
You earn points for purchases that you can exchange for a limited range of goods at 50, 100 or 300 points, although there is nothing from the men's range other than the bog standard moisturising lotion that I don't use.
However, points reset on the anniversary of the date that you joined the program and there is no notification when this is about to happen.
I have accrued over 600 points in just over 2 years but have spent precisely none, as the rewards totals are so well hidden that I always forget about them until after they have reset.
I get no notifications from Clinique at all, despite being in the loyalty scheme. Normally I wouldn't complain but this lack of communication is meaning that I am missing out on rewards.
Avoid at all costs. This was my first order with Clinique and will certainly be my last. Placed an order and paid for a lipstick. I received an order confirmation email.
About 1 week after I placed my order I checked the tracking information to see where my parcel was, the tracking website stated that my order had been cancelled. No communication advising of this which is totally unacceptable.
I called customer service and the advisor was incredibly rude and not at all helpful.
Awful experience, parcel went missing in post ( was it even sent?) Contacted clinque via what's app and told I had to wait 7 working days , so after the 7 days I again make contact and I'm advised another parcel will be sent as first lost in post. I wait and again no parcel!!! I again make contact via what's app to be told the replacement parcel had not been dispatched!!! Really poor Clinique!!!
I bought products to qualify for their promotion. I did not receive these. When I enquired as to where my promotional products where they told me that in their terms and conditions it outlines, available whilst stocks last. There is no way of knowing if the stock is in or not and the promotion is still running on the website, which gives the impression that the promotion is still aviliable.
I wouldn't trust their promotions as I doubt you will receive it and as for their customer service, you won't get anywhere.
For a company that clinique is and the price of their products I expected a higher level of service.
I was mislead as I'm sure others have been also with this promotion.
I won't be using a company with that ethos any longer.
Purchased a eyeliner from Boots some time ago, it has now become faulty so i contacted customer services and spoke with Aleksandra who helped me and resolved my issue very quickly via Whatsapp

Recently tried a small free sample of moisture surge that was given to me when I bought some foundation.
The sample of the moisture surge seemed suitable for my skin type. So I then bought a 30ml pot of this from Maidenhead store. There was then a heatwave and in the sun my skin went bright orange. The sample hadn't done this, but the product was the same. The sample and foundation was purchased from Bluewater.
Bad service in bluewater felt like she didn’t even want to be there
I was offered a free item on their website if I spend enough to qualify. I did exactly that, choose a free item from the list and it became a part of my order. My parcel was delivered yesterday and free item is not there. They didn't communicate why in any way, so I contacted customer support. Turns out the item was "out of stock" and they still allowed me to add it to my order, didn't bother to notify me, offer a replacement from the list or just give any replacement at all. And it's their standard practice. So basically you can't count on them fulfilling any promises.
Update:
After posting this review, I received an email with apologies from Clinique and they sent me my free item and gave a discount code. So I'm satisfied with the outcome overall. I just hope they improve the processes and other customers don't have to take additional steps.
I purchased a concealer a while ago from this store, The Cosmetic Company at Bicester my son actually purchased it as a present for me but was the wrong colour for me as the colour is on the tip of the box it was un opened in the box and bag .I was suddenly very unwell battling cancer and couldn't go back there but when we did it was closed travelled 120 miles there and back stayed in a hotel one night in total we went three times and they were closed don't understand why.when we went last week they refused to exchange it or refund it and were hostile to me and very nasty in front of customers.I was in shock I was in tears they would not help me. I went to the Concierge there who tried also but they would do nothing for despite me going all the way and I had also had a bad head injury. I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop in this store after my horrific experience I was told to leave the store and embarrassed with customers all horrified. they should compensate me and had to stay in a hotel for the night cost us and a tank of petrol three times I can't believe how they treat their customers. Never again. Please avoid this store and be aware they won't help you or exchange anything.
I had the solar smart face cream factor 40 as a gift. I have never had any reaction to cream or make up. This blistered my skin. It took two weeks to calm down. I did contact the company as I was concerned it should be recalled but they asked for more photos even after I had sent them. Just a heads up!
Really good quality. I bought several products and was completely satisfied. I will buy more and recommend to my friends.
