As a first time buyer, it often feels sceptical on who to trust with buying and dealing with a home purchase. I’d like to highlight why I chose to work with Lyon’s Bowe Solicitors and why I would recommend to others.
1) Their reviews seem to be positive and often includes a personal touch from the reviewer!
2) They have a useful app, providing information about the process time frame and where you currently are within it.
3) As you go through the buying process they provide an understandable pdf doc on what’s next (this was reassuring and helpful)
4) They were always available to call if you had any concerns, as first time buyers this was appreciated.
5) Special shoutout to Jada, Amalia and Millie who guided us through the buying process, and dealt with any queries quickly and professionally. (Quick tip get your documents ready and easily accessible to help speed up the process - it fortunately took us only 77 days from offer being accepted to getting the keys!)

After previously using two local solicitors for legal duties we tried an AI prediction which unfortunately turned out, in our opinion, a little worse. There was little or no personal service, we entered a pool of legal individuals. Emails are generally cut/paste with references to groups like Estate Agents even though we didn't have an agent. Prices initially quoted don't match completion statements and when questioned, charges appeared in small prints of documents, this makes it incredibly difficult to compare legal quotes and therefore the costs were higher than local solicitor quotes. The most frustrating was the lack of urgency, an incredibly simple sale took far too long. In addition they may advertise local offices to your location but they cannot be used for original documents etc therefore special delivery postal charges are required for Shepton Mallet. The Company App wasn't used to accurately reflect the status of your property transaction

5 star service the entire way through our house sale and purchase. There was never a day I thought - what am i waiting for? I was always in the loop with what was going on and always receiving communication from the team. This is the second time we have used Lyons bowe and I would recommend to anyone! Originally only went with Lyons Bowe Solicitor for the house sale as they were the only company that seemed to be able to cope with the fact the house was in a trust and the proceeds needed to go 6 ways. It started out really well and then sadly, we lost 2 weeks with the initial welcome team (due to sickness) and I did think oh no here we go... but once we had a solicitor Beth made every effort to do everything promptly and in the end the entire sale was completed in 5 weeks so thrilled. Thank you to Beth and Jayden for getting us over the finish line
