Really 4+*. We travelled from Chesterfield to Edinburgh on the Northern Belle, including the option to visit the Royal Yacht. I originally booked from Manchester (which would have required at least one overnight stop), but an extra trip starting from Sheffield was made available and I was very pleased to be allowed to swap my booking to celebrate my wife's 80th. At a later date the Sheffield start was switched to Chesterfield, but this was relatively minor inconvenience. The trip was very good, with extra free champagne as the date coincided with the Coronation. We have travelled on one of these trips before and the only comment would be that the food was not quite five star this time, hence the small reduction to 4+.

I booked the train journey for my husband's 60th birthday and it didn't disappoint. The train carriage was beautifully restored and comfortable. The meal and wines were very good. We will definitely be booking again.

Great service from Lucy and Carol at Luxury Train Tickets. We had a fabulous day; the train was beautiful and the staff fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to book another special trip through this company.

I booked this as a birthday present, the whole experience was fantastic, my wife was blown away by the carriage interior, the staff were amazing and our glass was never empty, the food was fantastic. I know the trip is expensive, but, worth every penny. Sarah and Fatima were fantastic and all the staff do a fantastic job of making sure the whole day was a memory maker. Thank you.

Very good experience overall dealing with them. Professional staff who proactively worked with us in arranging tickets and also following up on the arrangements as and when required.

We booked the Murder Mystery Lunch as a surprise for my mum's birthday and we all had a fantastic and truly wonderful experience. Our stewards Fatima and Andel were so attentive and friendly, and the actors were brilliant! The food and service onboard was spectacular. Sergio and Lucy from Luxury Train Tickets answered all my questions prior to booking and were very helpful. My only thing to point out was that Luxury Train Tickets advertised the experience on their website as set in the1920s, whereas once we got there we realised the murder mystery was set in the 1950s. However, this did not spoil our day in any way, we still had a fantastic day and enjoyed dressing up in 1920's fashion, even if we were a few decades out! We hope to do another experience like this again.

A truly fantastic day to La Manoir. From start to finish it was pure luxury all the way. Carol at Luxury Trains was extremely helpful and went over and beyond to help and make our day special for my sons birthday. So from booking our trip to the end of our journey it was a day filled with memories which we will both never forget. Thank you Carol and Belmond x

Unforgettable experience from start to finish. Top food, amazing performances and Keith our stewart was just brilliant. Such a wonderful day.

What an amazing day. It exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, to visiting Blenheim Palace to stepping off the train for the last time everything was perfect. Tim and Alison were so attentive and friendly on our carriage 'Perseus'. The stunning food and plentiful drink was spot on. I know this is a once in a lifetime experience and can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life. Expensive? yes maybe, worth every single penny? ABSOLUTELY YES!!

Excellent Day
Thank you to all for a wonderful day on the Belmond Pullman for my wife's birthday, out waiters Roco & Patrick were excellent and nothing was too much trouble to them, the actors were very professional in delivering the murder mystery, thank you to Luxury Train Tickets for a five star service.
Hope to be back.

An amazing trip to Bath. Train, staff and food first class.

The train journey was wonderful and all the guests had a fabulous time. The food was amazing and the entertainment of the murder mystery was really well performed. Great day out!

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived & were served a beautiful glass of English apple juice whilst we listened to the singer to the point we departed after a wonderful day.
I cannot praise the booking service, food, drinks, ambiance, steward service & whole experience highly enough.
I would rate our day 11/10 & cannot thank you enough.

It was a birthday present never to forget. Our stewards Patrick and Rocco were very attentive and made the day.

The experience we had on the British Pullman was first class, from the staff looking after us, the ambiance of the train and the food and drink all wonderful

Great day out the staff on the train were brilliant the food was out of this world we really enjoyed our day

From the start, Sergio at Luxury Train Tickets was great. Very helpful advice and the booking itself was very easy. Great communication throughout and would highly recommend. (Note: This is a review of the LTT company, and not the train we went on, which we have done separately :-) )

Our parents had the greatest of days aboard the Pullman and visit to Blenheim Palace. All the staff from booking, to on the day were very helpful and attentive. The food was amazing on board and the wine constantly refilled! A very special trip.

All staff and service was excellent lovely day could not fault anything

Best day ever, the staff were amazing, very attentive, from the minute we arrived at the reception area everything was amazing. The spitfire sisters were fantastic entertainment. The carriage we were in got called the party carriage. Everyone had a great day with all the other guests in Audrey carriage. If you read this, you know who you all are.
