The only thing worse than the build quality is the customer service. No response despite multiple emails. The poles on the Lumi recovery ultra push through the top of weak material meaning it leans over and then falls over spilling the water everywhere.

Poor, paid over 100 quid for this product used it once and it split in both the lid and the bath side wall. Contacted them few weeks ago, no reply having to chase up again which is poor, so poor quality of product which is bad enough and now poor customer service not good.

Ordered a Lumi product which arrived with missing parts, making the Ice bath unusable. Have sent numerous messages to customer services but no response. Suggests the company is starting to fail and they have gave up on their customers. Reading more recent reviews this is a common problem. I will have to get the bank to do a credit return since unable to speak to someone.

Had a lumi product 9 months. Probably in a peak used twice a week.

Product has split between the 2 circulating threads.

Contacted lumi about the issue. Wouldn't even entertain it. Just offered 10% off a new product.

Zero customer service, been waiting over 2 weeks for their reply after stating 3-5 days.. numerous emails and nothing.. my cube chiller stopped working.. after reading other people's bad experiences also on Facebook groups etc... looks like the companies changed owner and things arnt good at all.. seems the lumi cube chiller units are just failing just outside of their warranty and no ones picking up emails..

Chiller won't work and 4 emails to customer service over a 1 month period ignored. Their live chat is disabled and they've ignored my Instagram DM. Will have no choice but to do a credit card reversal

Was recommended to buy a Lumi ice bath and sadly I have been really disappointed. The product arrived with missing items and a damaged insulation lid. I have now emailed twice with no response and a product I cannot use - very disappointed and frustrated.

No Response from Customer Service

Do not buy from LUMI. As other reviews say, they are clearly not functioning as a reputable business. I bought from a UK based company to support a UK business and assumed the customer service would be good. I accidentally forgot to put in the discount code I received from them when purchasing and contacted them instantly after the payment went through to ask whether they could refund me or if I could cancel the order and redo it. Their chat was not working so I emailed them. The product arrived pretty quickly but I have had no replies from my 3 emails in over 3 weeks. It’s just sitting in the house whilst I wait for someone to contact me. There is no phone number, or at least it doesn’t work. My product is not faulty…yet, but it’s not acceptable to just ignore customers entirely.

Do not deal with this firm they do not reply to warranty issues

I placed an order in May Order No: 287920. The package was never delivered to my address; it was rejected at customs and sent directly back to you.
According to tracking data, the package was delivered back to your facility on June 16th, 2026.
Ever since, it has been absolutely impossible to find a customer representative to handle this issue, and I have recently learned that the company management/ ownership has changed. This internal chaos does not absolve you of your legal responsibilities.
This is my final notice. If my full refund is not processed within 2 business days, I will take direct legal action against the company through the Consumer Arbitration Committee and legal courts.

I’ve tried contacting Lumi but they are not responding

I ordered an ice bath for my husbands birthday.
The ice bath was leaking from the very first time I filled it (very disappointing for my husband who had been wanting one for absolutely ages.
I contacted customer services, a week later still no response. I contacted them again a week later-still zero response.
Now, i completely appreciate that sometimes items can be faulty but the sheer lack of customer service is appalling. I want to send back my ice bath but am unable to do that as they state NOT TO RETURN ITEMS UNTIL CUSTOMER SERVICES HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED QUERY! How can that happen if you don’t respond to customer queries???
I would NEVER use this company again and I would advise future customers to think very carefully before purchasing from LUMI therapy.

We bought a chiller from this company, at great expense, a month or so ago which stopped working after 5 minutes. We have tried every conceivable way to contact the company and every contact has been ignored. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - they have gone into administration!

Order 288539 paid a lot for the Pod Pro + Mini Chiller 2 last month, used a max of 5 times and now does not work. Wish I'd read the reviews here before buying. The telephone number is not working, nor web chat and they do not respond to emails.

Bought a Lumi recovery duo pro and mini chiller. The chiller has never worked since being delivered. Phoned and emailed but they don’t respond.

Recovery pod is ok for the money, inflatable ring at the top is prone to bursting. Got sent the newer Ultra pod as a replacement for my original recovery pod Max after the inflatable ring burst the first time I used it. The ultra seems a slightly more robust unit on the whole and is chiller compatible so would go with this as a minimum. If I was reviewing the Ultra pod alone I would give that 4* as its good value for money.

I've had it 7 months now and the drain tap kit has never been in stock. Went to try and buy a UV resistant lid and that is also out of stock. Quite annoying on the whole but maybe they cant cope with the demand.

6 Aug 26 - Update to my earlier review, it apeears Lumi are wotking hard to catch up after what must have been a transition. Leigh, recently started in the office has been pretty good at getting back to us now, and also responsive to further issue where i managed to crack the cam.lock connectors (my fault) and are replacing for free. Getting there!

22 June 26I am questioning the reliability of this company. Spent alot of money on the the Lumi Pro ice bath and Mini chiller 2, only to find the connectors to allow link between chiller and POD were not in the packaging. Emailed 9 days ago and had no response. Also no other way to contact, the phone number quoted does not work, nor does the online chat function. Frustrating and questions their Web site authenticity of having outstanding customer service.

I am a very frustrated customer. I bought the Pod PRO 8 + Mini Chiller 2 as a surprise for my husband's birthday + Father's Day and it came missing two parts.

I have emailed Lumi several times and tried contacting them on instagram and had no reply and hence we have had it for 3 weeks and have not been able to use it (throughout the heat wave!!). Now I simply don't know how to fix the problem and feel like I have been robbed £900! There is no way to contact the company via phone.

The company contacted me and have now (4 weeks after purchase) sent me the missing parts.

Avoid avoid avoid. Spent the extra as I thought lumi were meant to be the best. It's shein quality. The pump doesn't work. Nothing else will fit so cant use any other pump, had to blow up manually (blowing into it) which obvs can't inflate it to the level needed. Instructions awful. Spent all day trying to set up. Zero reply from the chat function on the website and waited a month for reply from customer services. Wish I'd brought a cheap one from amazon. I daren't bother requesting a refund as apparently they went into administration at some point so don't want to send back and risk not receiving a refund. Literally try any other brand.
