We hadn’t been to Luminate before and loved it!
We had the whole family there, 3.5years to 65+years and we all enjoyed it and loved the lights and the show on the castle.
The staff were great - thank you!

We’ve been four times now, once at the Botanical Gardens in Carmarthen and three times at Margam Park, and we absolutely love it. We first started coming when I was pregnant, on our anniversary, and it’s since become a special annual tradition for us. Now we return with our 3 year old son, who is completely mesmerised by the lights.

What makes it even more special is that it’s different every year, so it never feels repetitive. Even if you’ve been before, it’s always worth coming back as there’s something new to see each time.

Been to 4 different winter light shows and again really enjoyed this one. We especially like the hands on items such as the light dual. Trail itself was a good distance and lots of fascinating displays to see.
It was only let down by the car park which where I was asked to park by the stewards was a bog.

Third year running. Improves every year!
Staff were very friendly. The pizza from the bus was excellent as usual.

Really enjoyable experience. The only reason I have rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the cost which was similar in price to a full family day out for something that lasted a few hours. Despite this, it was a really enjoyable experience and we are glad we went. It really got us into the festive spirit and was very pretty indeed.

We took the kids and the grandkids and everyone loved the experience, it was like a magical wonderland full of suprises around each bend in the trail. Fabulous...

Perfect experience from start to finish. Car parking was easy. Lovely meander through the different zones and sit to watch disco ball lights mesmerising!
Can’t wait to take family back this year x

Beautifully set out in a natural enchanting setting.

This is the second time I’ve visited Luminate in Margam and the light displays are absolutely beautiful. We took our 5 month old baby who was fascinated by all of the lights, especially the disco balls. It really did add to the magic of her first Christmas!

Great experience with four children between 3 and 13. The only slight niggly point was the lack of wifi signal for food vendors.

Easy to park, excellent stewards. Plenty of space, so we never felt crowded. Children enjoyed playing the music, writing their wishes, watching the pictures on the castle. We would definitely go again.

Absolutely beautiful light displays . We had such an enjoyable experience.
The reason that I didn’t give 5 stars was due to the lack of food and drink facilities.
For a display this huge , just a having a few choices ( hence long queues) was extremely disappointing

Excellent event and very well organised. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the actual event itself was so magical. Will definitely be going again next year!

We had a lovely evening at the Coombe Abbey Illuminations, what an amazing experience, it actually enhanced the Christmas feeling.
Even today I've been recommending family and friends to book for the next event.

There was more to luminate this year - it's good so it's not the same thing every year and we saw lots of different luminous things and there was also a spectacle at the end from the balcony (no spoilers!)

Great event. Magical for adults and children. Great stop half way for marshmallows and snacks.
Beautiful fairground rides at the end and delicious food.

Great display and perfect with smaller children.
Also i have to mention that our little one was poorly on our booked date and we received immediate help and understanding from the organisers. Made our experience even better.

Thoroughly enjoyed Margam Luminate, as did our 3 and 5 year old children. Marshmallow toasting and playing the musical piano with lights were highlights!

Very well planned, easy to follow thw path. The loghts were fanatastic!
