Thank you for another beautiful dress. Love it.

Just received three dresses—extremely poor quality—nothing like what I expected. One—“extremely breathable” material? Hardly—stiff and sandpaper like. The second—weird mesh inserts in the sleeves and the bottom of the dress that weren’t visible in the photo and so big, it could never meet the “flattering waist” claim. The third—a size Medium—could fit two of me, it was so wide. Polyester material that looks like something my grandmother might have worn 50 years ago. I feel duped and am embarrassed that I fell for the misleading ads. Shame on this “mother and daughter Charleston” scam team.

The items took a LONG time to arrive and then did not fit. One was not the shirt I ordered, either. I will change my review if they respond to my refund request. The return policy seems complex so I don't expect a response.

I ordered a $50 dress from an Instagram ad from your store. I received a horrible, cheap, course fabric article of clothing, nothing like the picture shown. I wrote asking for a full refund but they keep offering deals on other clothing, saying they can only offer $5 back. A true scam from China!
I will try to expose them as much as possible!

I wish I’d looked for the reviews prior to ordering. I wouldn’t have bothered and been out $60.00 for a blouse that is trash. Like other one star reviews (that I’m sure like me, would have preferred zero stars), the product is cheaply made and the material used is total crap. Took forever to get order. They know what they’re doing; advertising what appears to be high-end clothing only to trap you into a 20% back offer rather than going through the cost of shipping back to China. They should be investigated or I should have my head examined

I must admit their response time is prompt, however, trying to get a hassle free return is not. Instead of exposing how to return an item they wanted me to keep the item and pay another $9.95 to choose something else. All I wanted was to return the item so someone else could use it and get my refund. I was not happy with the fabric which had the feel of crepe paper.

Really happy with my purchase. The dress has practical pockets which was a nice surprise and the material feels much better than I expected for the sale price.

DO NOT ORDER MERCHANDISE FROM THIS COMPANY. The dress material feels like plastic and the workmanship is extremely poor. I tried to cancel my order less than 2 hours after placing it and they said it was already in the shipping process. Really? I asked to return this crap and get a refund and like Karen Johnson said, they insist you send it back to China at your own expense which is very high or they will let you keep the crap and give you a 20% refund. Their website and ads imply the company originated in Charleston, SC. My order was sent from Vernon, CA. So why does everything go back to China? Complete shysters! The clothing I received was garbage and not what was depicted on their website.

I am sorry I did not see the reviews before I ordered, although i place my order so long ago, I would not have seen most of them.
I can only repeat what others have written, poor sizing poor quality and ridiculous return procedure. Very misleading pictures.
My advice is dont order from them.

I ordered did not fit nor did it meet my expectations. Lucy worked tirelessly to offer me an acceptable solution. I cannot say enough about their desire to make sure the customer is satisfied. So rest assured superior customer service is not dead!

SCAM company. Product is cheap, looks cheap, material is cheap. Unwearable. Returning it will cost more than you paid for it. They give you an address in ? I googled the address and cannot even tell what country it is in! New City International Business Center, No. 1138 Changjiang South Road, Yushan Town, Kunshan City, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. The product is so inferior that their advertising is false. I already donated it to Goodwill. They offered only a 20% refund if I chose not to ship to (? what country?) It is worthless. A full refund, less reasonable shipping costs (not 80%,) would be fair.

The styles on this website have a classic feminine feel that’s hard to find lately. My dress arrived exactly as pictured and the fit was very flattering. I’ve already bookmarked a few more items.

The order took a long time to arrive. My inquiry was politely answered but was useless. The fabric is not as it appears in the photos. There are no labels concerning fabric or washing instructions. Actually, no fabric information in the ad. I will wear the two tops I bought but won't purchase again. I should have known, FB ads for lines of clothing are typically not as they appear and are certainly not made in the US.

Actually, no stars! This is not a Charleston “mom & daughter” shop. It’s from China. Sizing is totally off & not at all as pictured. They take beautiful catalog model pictures & try to duplicate them with cheap fabrics. Customer service is polite & responsive, but, they can only offer 10% back or will give you 50% off more junk. I’ll try to contact my credit card company to report a scam.

Lucy & Claire are a SCAM and internet FRAUDS! Their clothes are NOT made in the USA, but in ASIA (which they don't disclose), are poorly cut, and of inferior material quality. The BEAUTIFUL clothes you see modeled in their ads are NOT what you get! The blouse I ordered was NOT the blouse I got! It takes FOREVER to get your merchandise from them, and if you are not satisfied or happy with it, good luck trying to get a refund! Lucy & Claire will NOT refund your money, forcing YOU to ship the item back to ASIA at YOUR expense.

I ordered a midi dress for a family gathering and was impressed by how comfortable it felt all day. The fabric drapes nicely and doesn't feel stiff at all. It looked polished without being overly formal.

It's a scam...I ordered 3 dresses and they arrived via China. Very poor quality and sizing was way off. I emailed customer service and the response was one we receive photos of the dresses we would proceed. No response after that. I have emailed at least 6 times telling them I did not want replace with different dresses. Still no response. No phone number and no address to return or call. SCAM

The quality and fit were very good. I only wish there were even more color options available because the styles are lovely.

If I was able to give zero stars I would. Clothing ordered arrives (eventually) in the US via a slow boat from China. The 30 day return policy is a joke. You are required to ship your purchase back to Asia at your own expense. My purchase arrived well beyond the promised date and the quality was very poor. My advice Stay Away from this non-Charleston storefront.
