Since April, I have been stuck in a nightmare of back-and-forth emails with Lucid Toys — but to no avail. The first product I received (Zelex doll) was delivered in shockingly poor packaging, clearly unwrapped and unsecured. Within 30 minutes of delivery, I inspected it, documented the lack of secure packaging and defects with photographs, and requested a return. Instead of a fair refund, their returns process is designed to fail customers — accusing me of using the product when I had not. They even presented me with “evidence” of damages that mysteriously appeared after I sent it back, despite my own photos proving otherwise.
The second product (Zora doll) arrived with the wrong fittings. After months of chasing, we agreed in writing to settle for £100, with the balance to be refunded — yet they have since refused to honour this.
To make matters worse, Klarna — who I expected to protect me as a consumer — has been no help whatsoever. I raised complaints, but their so-called “buyer protection” is non-existent. Klarna sided with the seller, leaving me out of pocket, ignored, and without any of the protection they claim to provide.
This behaviour is not only unprofessional, but in breach of UK consumer rights. Lucid Toys have failed to provide goods of satisfactory quality, refused to honour written agreements, and Klarna has failed to step in as a responsible payment provider. I will now be pursuing this further through legal action.
Buyer beware: this company cannot be trusted, and Klarna offers no real protection.

2 products did not meet my expectation (prior to shipping) and when asked for a refund they got back to me promptly, politely and refunded my money in no time. I had a good experience with their support.
Though, I can't say anything about the quality of the articles since they never arrived (due to my refund request) I feel that they handle requests fairly and in a professional manner

I keep returning to Lucidtoys because they offer a wide selection of ready-to-ship, in-stock products at great prices with next-day delivery.
Their customer service team has always been quick to respond, polite, and helpful. They have gone out of their way to add pre-order products to their system, allowing me to source custom items from their suppliers.
For shipping, I believe the packaging is the factory standard used by the suppliers in China. My experience with the local courier DPD has been positive.

Good value, good stock level and product choice, rapid delivery. I have bought around 10 dolls from Lucid and I can't fault the value for money. However the packing could be improved as 2 of my dolls had very basic packing and were a bit grubby where they moved around inside the boxes. The boxes were perfectly secure and discreet externally but the packing inside could have been better. Also their customer services can be slow to respond (but always get there eventually). Clearly Lucid operate on a highly discounted pricing structure which of course is the main attraction for buyers - they are far cheaper than any other mainstream doll supplier, they have a lot of dolls in stock with a good choice of perfectly reasonable quality and do dispatch quickly - can't be faulted at the price...

This past month I've placed 2 orders with Lucidtoys and both have gone smoothly with the items delivered very quickly. I've actually purchased from them before as they are handy being here in the UK so I regularly check their web site, especially the reduced section where dolls that have been damaged during shipping can be picked up at a significant savings. So last month I ordered a lovely SM doll body that had some very slight damage that was an easy fix for me. Then this past week I needed some new eyes for a head I already had and knew that Lucidtoys had a decent selection of aftermarket eyes. I ordered 2 pairs which were delivered within 48hrs and when I contacted them to say that one pair was the wrong colour they immediately sent me the correct eyes which arrived 1st class the next day! So personally my experience has been positive and I will certainly be using them again.

Although I did get the item I was expecting, it was incorrectly packed, where the plastic sheeting was crumpled that left the back with marks and the buttocks flattened.
Upon inquiry, they left a generic response and I had to follow up to get an update. The update they gave me was to provide even more pictures, as the images and video I provided were taken in "low light".
They just waste your time to avoid responsibility. My fault really for buying from them.

Can't fault the product and packaging. I did order over the Christmas period but was in no rush. I've only knocked off a star because of UPS. Absolute tossers! They received the parcel 31st Dec. It shipped to depot on the 2nd Jan. I got an email saying delivery set for Sat 4th then that changed to Fri 3rd. Nothing turned up either Fri or Sat. Status changed to Delayed in Transit. Then it was delivered Mon 6th at 16:06 (I paid for a morning delivery), left at back door. Nothing there and I was in all day! Not carded, no notification. Neighbour dragged it round later that evening. Good on him because these things ain't light! Product is amazing BTW!

Bought a jy sex doll torso from them when it arrived I was shocked no entry holes in the doll what so ever tried everything to see if they were stuck together but no , contacted company they wanted evidence of what I've said I was so angry they did offer to send replacement but what's the point these are cheap Chinese knock offs do not buy them stick to tantaly or a official dealer.

Wow...i was sceptical being my first TPE doll, but Arielle is spot on. I bought a fire doll, full works arms and legs and stuff, but I didn't bank on the weight. 39kg didn't register to much with me as I still use 'old money' (giving my age away), I can judge a pound but no 1kg, my error. TPE is cold, bit like the missis so no change there, reason why I went for a doll as I didn't want to go outside my marriage but that's another story. The sculpturing of the face is very well done, gorgeous to gaze on, the body is also very good so I'm happy. You have to be fit though so a word of advice don't try the Kamasutra in one night, the effort after shifting the weight around develops brewers droop, stick with one position have a breather then go for it. The quick release head is a plus if one just fancies just a BJ. Cleaning and repositioning is a bit of a faff, and so is combing long hair and fixing with bands and hair pins (I just leave the missis to sort herself out) She's in the attic now out of the way waiting for the missis to go away again (that was one big struggle to get her up there lol) If you go for a full size doll you need to be a little fit, I will buy another but just the torso and head, about the weight of a bag of sand so easy enough to shift around. Thanks again, a good doll at a good price. oh...and mine came with a tongue but still trying to work out where it is.

Happy with my refund
After a issue that happened with my item out of stock various emails going to them and nothing coming back to me. I ordered a different item and left a note. so don't know if they was super busy and didn't have a lot of time to answer me back which is understanding.

I contacted them about the head coming loose on 30/01/24 about a problem with a doll now I can't get through to them.
Don't buy off these there warranty is none existant I'm very disappointed with them.
Here is an update 07/03/2024 after nomarious complaints to them & getting nowhere I asked for a full refund which thay have refused which is a breach of the Consumer rights act & as it broke before the 30 days I have the right to the full refund so now I'm having to take them to court to retrieve my money.
Be warned don't use this company. I have another update 22/03/2024 I've just had a threatening email from them wow I wasn't expecting that still no refund very poor service must be run by crowns.

The doll was not as advertised,the body was correct but the head was not the right model and was a completely different colour - I seriously could not believe what I was seeing it cost £950 and was not checked before dispatch from UK this is rediculous.I contacted them and was fobbed off,they said the head was correct and sent pictures of a high end head with open mouth huge lips and teeth that had nothing to do with the sugarbabes range.I had sent them a picture of the head on the body and they know very well that they have ripped me off - no further replies after I sent a plethora of email about the subject - I'm still waiting for the mistake to be resolved or at least a part refund of £235 so I can buy a matching head for the body.The two stars are for the company's fast shipment of the item only,when and if lucidtoys correct their error -I will write a better review for the sugarbabe model and company on completion.

Received a doll with a torn vagina and the anus had string like material attached to both sides of the cavity, almost like a cheese cutter, thankfully I didn’t use the anus because I would be without a penis now.
Although I kinda assumed I should have checked it thoroughly before using it, I skipped that and just assumed their quality control would have picked up on the main things such as a torn vagina and a dangerous anus. Oh how wrong I was. They are far more worried about taking pictures of the fingers and face than the vagina and anus openings
That’s meant it’s been difficult to come to a fair outcome in this situation.
30% reduction was the second offer and i didn’t feel like that was acceptable.
The anus and vagina are what the doll was purchased for.
The damage will shorten the life and effecting visual stimulation considerably.
After a back and forward conversation in which I provided countless pictures upon their request they have gone silent.
The last reply from them was the 16th of August and it’s now the 15 of September.
Because of the silent treatment I had no choice and about 10 days ago I took advice and served them a letter to say I want a full refund and have gave them 14 days to reply. As of yet still no reply.
I feel they are trying their luck by ignoring me even after beginning the process of negotiation.
Left a review on their website but strangely enough they haven’t posted that and are just putting positive reviews up.
I would have been very happy with the doll had it of been in good condition as it’s surprising good.
They sent me pictures that their quality control took and said there is no damage visible but the area of damage is impossible to see due to what is inserted in the vagina when the pictures were taken and the anus is not visible because the doll is laying on its back in the box. Great quality control lucid toys. You fail to take pictures of what is most important. I assume that’s not a mistake.
I have asked for there pictures of the damaged area but again no reply.
I told them I was happy to forgive them for the detached eye lash as I understand they are delicate and could easily fall off in transit but I see they count on them photos a lot as I have seen some of the other reviews here now.
But I’m yet to receive pictures of the vagina and anus before it was sent out and considering that was my complaint it shows they don’t have them and any they provide now will just be recreated after the fact.
I did look online at reviews before making a purchase but unfortunately it would seem the places I looked are cherry picked by lucidtoys. So it’s not a fair representation.
I also paid extra for a Saturday delivery but it turned up early on a Tuesday.
Just by chance I was home from work that day and no one else was home, could have been pretty uncomfortable.
Delivery guy also asked what’s in the box? Pretty uncomfortable but I accept that’s hard for lucid toys to take responsibility for but still not quite as discreet as hoped for.
I asked for a £500 reduction in price as they were really struggling to come up with a fair offer.
So much time invested into dozens of emails and constantly being asked for more and more photos, I took pictures in every possible way while trying to open the anus as asked for and yet they wanted more so I took more, it’s almost like it was being past to a different employee every time and each one wanted pictures. Very odd. One employee said I can just cut out the string like material and I said I want to be sure that if I do that I won’t be held responsible for any damage as it seemed a strange solution to the problem but I did it and although usable now it is not attractive to look at.
I was being very patient and gave them every opportunity to fix the problem but it seem the silent treatment is what they have decided to implement. Not very professional in my opinion.
They thanked me many times for the manner in which I was emailing them and for providing more and more photos.
Not once did I email in an aggressive manner, I just wanted a solution and gave them every opportunity to provide one.

After 14 days of waiting they never responded so i sent another email and gave them 24 hours to get in contact and provide a solution,
They did respond within that 24 hours and after them getting very aggressive on the phone and me not accepting their nonsense offers, they agreed to send me a replacement body. Although it was not identical to the one I paid for they would not compensate me for that.
the last time they contacted me was them threatening me with court action on the basis of me saying, either you reduce the price and I will feel somewhat happy with the outcome so will not need to warn others about you, or if not I will update it because clearly they can’t be trusted when it comes to dealing with faulty goods. But lucid already had my review deleted. So I have sent this
