Louis Gas & Heating Ltd Omdömen 

Our boiler stopped working on Monday 17th November during the 0°C cold snap. We informed our insurer and were passed to Sedgwick, clearly explaining that we are a vulnerable household with an infant and a toddler. Despite repeated calls, there was no response, no urgency, and no support. We even brought in two private plumbers recommended by MyBuilder, but they were completely unhelpful and unprofessional.

In desperation, I searched online and came across Louis Gas & Heating Ltd thanks to their excellent reviews — and I am so glad I did. I contacted them on Thursday evening when we had already been without heating and hot water for days.

From the very first call, Angeline, the office manager, was fantastic. She listened, understood our situation, and arranged an urgent visit straight away. George assessed the boiler, gave us a competitive and honest quote, and then — knowing we had two young children in a freezing house — rearranged their diary to fit us in the very next day.

What truly amazed us was that George’s father, Louis, who started the business 40 years ago and is now retired, came out to help with the installation because of the urgency. By Friday evening, we finally had heating and hot water again.

Louis Gas & Heating Ltd saved us in a very stressful situation. I cannot recommend them highly enough — they are the kind of company you want on your side. Thank you, George, Louis, and Angeline, for your outstanding service!

Had a lovely young man called Ozay come and fix my boiler for me. Polite, friendly and approachable. Would definitely use again! Would have given 5 stars but booking agent advised appt time would be between 2.30-3.30pm but engineer arrived about 12.30pm so it was lucky I didn't miss him plus incorrect phone number was passed to Ozay so he was unable to get hold of me.

Our cloakroom had been out of action for over 2 years because none of the plumbers we reached out to was
able to sort out the problem.
The plumbing system we have in our house is from the Netherlands.
George was honest from the get-go. He said he was not familiar with it but was prepared to put in the time and effort to study how it worked.
He contacted the manufacturers in The Netherlands and then a retail outlet from where he got the part he needed to do the job.
Like a dream he came in yesterday with the part and the job was done within 30 minutes and may I add, at a very reasonable price.

George came out to service the boiler and check an ongoing problem. I got a reminder of the day and time. For health reasons I needed as fast as was possible. What a decent guy. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. When the service was completed and the fault I had suspected diagnosed, he rushed off to buy the part and fit it leaving my hot water and heating in full working order. What service! I have had such trouble with plumbers letting me down, I'm so pleased I appear to have found a company who cares and are respectful. I highly recommend Louis Gas & Heating. Thank you George!

I was very happy with the service. My boiler had stopped working and after calling out two other plumbers who could not fix the problem, and almost a week without any hotwater or heating I'd just about had enough. George came to the rescue at very short notice, found the problem and was able to get the boiler working. I have booked to have a power flush done as my system is old and in need of a good clean out. I'm happy with the price quoted. Very polite and friendly guy. I would definitely recommend this company.
Update: I had the magnacleanse power flush done by George. Radiators are working like new again!
