Shame on you for keeping us waiting for over 45 min for the X7, on Tuesday 06-02-24, 18:38 pm buss. At 2’c with winds for over 25km/h! Appalling! We are nothing but live stock to you!

There was a travel coach from a company mainline coaches that was parked over the bus stop stopping the number four bus from letting people from alighting safely this was opposite the Tesco service station on the Willowbrae road.

What do you do to the buses going to Port Seton?

7 mins display 50 minutes later the bus arrives?

This happens all the time with Seton Sands buses ?

WHY ?

There is an amazing driver who is so cheerful on the number 16 bus He wasn't afraid to tell those young girls to stop swearing as there were young children on board He is to be applauded.Wish more people would be like him.

Forgot my phone on the bus, spoke to other drivers about which depot my bus goes to at the end of the night, went to that depot and found that the driver, Gordon Begbie (legend), took my phone in. Staff at the depot were super friendly. Much appreciated!!!

I’ve been a resident in Edinburgh since 2014 and over the years I’ve witnessed and experienced the great decline of this bus service.

This bus service used to be honestly one of the best public transport services in the uk and even in Europe where I’ve spent a good chunk of my life.

It’s now gotten to the point where the Greek bus service runs more efficiently and on time than this one .

It wasn’t even Covid it was getting worse before 2020. So many buses are no shows, constantly 10-25 mins late as bus drivers stop off at certain stops on their route and p*** about.

I’ve heard that they don’t pay well and treat new drivers like cattle and older more experienced drivers get to choose their routes and times making it a horrible experience for new drivers.

Please sort your god awful app out where it never tracks buses properly and even Google and third parties track it better then your first party app.

It’s the only main service in Edinburgh so it’s not like I can choose a competitor.

I hate complaining and this is my first trust pilot review ever but I had to say something as this service is taking the absolute p***.

I’ve raised a complaint and will update once I’ve had a response.

Last Friday night a young lad who was underage very drunk kept asking everyone on the bus do you have a lighter a other passenger than grabbed him by the neck and then started slapping him on his face I have never seen that before since visiting Edinburgh

Ignorant, disrespectful bus driver who turned off Crewe Road North onto Boswall Parkway this morning (14/12/23, 07.10) without due care or attention, leaving me minimal space on to get past him, shouting abuse out of his window at me. Having just finished a 12.5 hour nightshift at the WGH and it still being dark I felt very threatened and intimidated by this male bus driver. Absolute disgrace!

Driver approached roundabout too quickly and without due care and observation. Braked so hard my partner was thrown from the fold down seat (MEANT FOR INFIRM AND ELDERLY) and narrowly missed landing on our puppy. Considering he'd just pulled away from the stop gives an indication of his acceleration. Driver asked if ok but no more than that. He continued to drive aggressively for the rest of our journey, thankfully short to Eva Place. Harsh acceleration and braking and she had to brace constantly. Absolutely no word of apology as we left. My partner is now bruised and in discomfort. Worst driver I've ever encountered and his attitude was appalling. He needs refresher training and his lead boots confiscated. If he'd apologised and driven the rest of our journey as he'd been trained, I wouldn't be writing this. As it was, he caused injury and continued driving in exactly the same manner. My only conclusion can be that he's stupid and in charge of a large lethal machine. If my partner had been a frail older woman (like the lady who boarded before us) they'd have had a broken hip on their hands and possibly concussion too. Boarded at Cameron Toll - incident shortly afterwards.
A cursory 'sorry', the usual 'we take x, y and z very seriously' cobblers upon complaint being submitted and a buck passing. Silence thereafter. I know only too well what kind of company Lothian Buses is and the mentality of the individuals who are put in positions of authority so this does not surprise me in the least.

So rarely on time, so many no-shows. Bus tracker can screw you over pretty well as it’s often not accurate. Get it sorted.

Your bus tracker is one of the least reliable in Europe.
In the last few months, Google and other third parties have been better at tracking your own buses than you have.
There are no excuses is the world for having to wait 45 minutes for a bus that never comes in a city like Edinburgh.
Honestly...get your s together.

6:30 72 never showed, should not have to wait an hour and a half for a bus after a full day work.

Not one driver can tell time. All this new technology telling you when the bus is due, not one is accurate. If you're dependant on public transport for work then leave 48 hours early for a shift, you might still make it.

Yet another bus journey from hell on 43 bus service last night. Driver couldn't care less for passengers, other road users or road conditions. From Edinburgh to Queensferry 8pm last night, driver drove as fast as he possibly could, ignore speed bumps, constantly had to slam on breaks in order to stop. Roads around queensferry should be 20 mph, but not to this guy. Along Scotstoun avenue must have been 60 at least

I was dismayed to see the bus at and didnt think l would get it,but the kind driver saw me and patiently waited .This was outside tesco recycling in bathgate . Thanks to the driver ....

used the 21 service for over 20 years - it's alarming how often buses scheduled become ghost services.
They no show or come 2 and 3 at a time with the blame by c.s. being road works every time.
NOT POSSIBLE to be continuously late or not existing over 20 years ,to be the same reason and yet never plan their timetable better !
they have a legal obligation to put on services and buses to their schedule.

why do bus drivers let people stand at the front of the bus when there is plenty space up the bus. People have to fight there way on and of the bus as they all hang about the front

Overveiw: I have been using lotiian buses for over 2 years now, been a polite and respondiful costomer. Got the respect of a 1 year old by my bus driver. To the bus driver today at 8:00 driving the number 5 at Oxgangs Road North. You almost clamped my hand into the door and left when I was standing right in front of the door waiting to get on. Then you just left without me or an apology. Will not be using your service any more

Bullying thug of a bus driver told me to leave the bus because I said that their bus times screen didn't work. Simple statement of fact but he shut down the engine on the crowded bus, came upstairs and told me to get off. Be warned if you get on an LRT bus that that it appears that the bus drivers have been given carte blanched to throw their weight around pretty much as they please. If you were ever thinking of favouring public transport as a more socially responsible way of travelling in Edinburgh then bear in mind that you are putting yourself in the hands of these people. They appear to have utter contempt for the public. Use your car unless there is no other option.
