Why have you stopped making new content?
This app has been inscredibly helpful with my sleeping routine. Recommended to all of my friends :) My fav scenery was Natalia Vodyanova's childhood memory
Very poor customer service, signed up for a free trial and then attempted to cancel at the end. I missed a step and did not complete the full cancellation which I didn't realise until PayPal messaged to say payment of £49 taken for a year subscription I don't want. Contacted Loona who basically said all payments final, no refunds and could not have been less interested. It is pretty evident as my subscription is cancelled from date of renewal that I wont be accessing for that year so cannot help but feel that is part of the scam to increase subscriptions. The cooling off period is being extended to include digital subscriptions in UK but isn't here yet so I am stuck with it but will be making sure I shout it out loud AVOID THIS APPALLING SERVICE and from other reviews looks like its full of stale content anyway.

If I could give them no stars, I would. I returned three pair of shoes that were ill fitting and had no orthotic support on December 6, 2025. I received credit for one pair and then continual reassurances from Brandon Herrera since then with no results. It is now 1/19/26 and they have quit responding to my emails. I don't think Brandon is an actual person and I am pretty sure that this company operates as a scam. Do not trust this company at all. Product is crap and the people are not trustworthy.

Loona slides offered what they called Ortho shoes. Selling point was great arch support. They also said they came from Texas. Well they are the biggest piece of crap I have ever bought. They dont fit right, ZERO support and are so thin I can't believe they call this a shoe. I contacted customer service and was told to keep them and they would refund $15 dollars of the $60 I paid. Or they will exchange them....for what? I would have to pay for the return to China. Wait didnt they say they ship from Texas? They didn't even come in a box. They are a joke and I wouldn't even donate them the quality is so bad. Total SCAM!

I can't say anything good about Loona's business practices. After repeatedly emailing Loona Support to cancel and refund the $49.99 they've been taking from my bank account for the last 4 months, I have yet to see ANY of the $199.96 (plus my overdraft charges that they caused) they OWE me!
I got 1 response saying they couldn't find my account, even though I gave them my email address, order ID numbers and transaction numbers on every email I sent.
My next step is legal action if need be, until then... I'll be writing these not-so-nice reviews.

I really loved this app, but due to them not releasing any new content I cancelled my subscription, and I had been using it off and on for years. I keep checking back every so often to see if there are updates. I feel sad for new users who are cheated out of their money for it.

I wish the developers would be honest about what’s happening with the app. I have used it since it was first released and it genuinely changed my relationship with bedtime and rest. The escapes are so beautiful and the looping sounds are my staple for sleeping, but there has been no new content for almost two years. Is anyone even running it anymore?

All the other reviews about the app being abandoned by the Powers That Be are sadly true. I signed up for a year - it was so lovely! Truly one of the most enjoyable, helpful, relaxing and beautiful apps I have ever used. However, upon subscribing, it said new content monthly. The first month, one new escape was made, maybe 2. After that - nothing. It's been many months since my year subscription ended and I miss it. I thought, I'll go check and see if they have added more (hoping desperately for more escapes with the grandpa guy's voice, so soothing), but alas, nothing has been added. It's been approximately 18 months since anything new was added?? My subscription ended in January. I am so hopeful that this app will one day be flourishing again, and if so, I'll be one of the first to sub. Until then, I will sadly keep checking for it to become alive again!

This is, I think, the best app I have ever used. Very creative content and everything super haromonious - the visuals, the voices of the story tellers and the music. They've created a little universe within this app and I absolutely love it.
But as said before, they've basically abandoned it and no new sleep scapes have shown up. This is such a pity, considering how well it all started. Team of Loona, at least be honest and announce that there won't be any new content instead of taking money for the app promising that more content will follow. Not okay..

Like many others, I thought this app was absolutely amazing. So helpful, relaxing and great for switching off. I would have given it 5 stars a couple of years back. But sadly, like many have said, they have completely changed track, and no longer seem to make the much loved sleep scapes. I wish them well, but I have cancelled my subscription, as the sleep scapes were/are the only thing that interested me.
(I'd still recommend new users to try it , as there are many sleep scapes on there, and they are magical, and great for mindfulness. It just gets repetitive after a while)

This was my favourite app in the world. My disappointment in its abandonment cannot be understated. I’ve continued subscribing in hopes that new content would come, all the while knowing full well I was most likely being scammed - the team that once was working on this app is probably nearly gone now, and the rest are working on some stupid VR crap, probably using the money they’ve gotten off of the poor folk still subscribed to Loona to fund it. My subscription is ending next month, and I’m finally calling it quits. I’m heartbroken.
Whoever in the team is reading this. I loved your app so much. It meant so much to me. I’d have continued paying for regular content. I’d have even paid more. It was beautifully designed, it was gentle, it was sweet. It helped me sleep and relax. It fed my imagination in such comforting ways. I know it isn’t your fault this app has been abandoned. Maybe you know the person whose fault it is. Maybe you’re sad too. In any event, I hope that someday this app comes back; as hurt as I am, I would return in a heartbeat if there was regular content again. If the artists and voice actors came back and reprised their roles. But I will never buy your stupid VR thing. I don’t like wishing someone failure, but I do - I hope the stupid VR thing fails and that the team comes back to making the thing that really and truly helped people.
I mean, they didn’t even let their marketing team say “goodbye for now and thank you”. They just left us all hanging and paying for an empty application on the promise that “the team is working hard to bring new content soon!” as months, then years pass. You guys are why I have trust issues, man.

I was okay with spending $6 for a trial period because I have been so desperate for sleep. It really did nothing for me, so I followed the instructions to cancel it within 2 days. Looked at my bank today and they charged me $42. I went back to the app to make sure I had canceled it and there is nothing to help me. The Ai chat is useless, so I guess they get are going to get away with robbing us. I still don’t know how to cancel this membership other than cancelling my bank card 🤦🏼♀️ so frustrating!!!

App has been left abandoned. It was a great app when Loóna did as they stated of providing new content monthly. I have complained about this via email before. It seems to be the same answer that most of us have received here. No information to when the developers will provide new content. "New" should mean new. Months - a year or 2 later is not new anymore. This doesn't provide good value for money.

I've been using the app for 3 years now. At first the app was perfect, we had monthly sleepscapes as it was advertised and it actually felt like they cared for the users. It was my favorite app to use. As an autistic user with CPTSD nighttime was the worst and sleep was something I was barely getting since it would take me hours to be able to fall asleep and the fact I wake up from the slightest noise. Nothing helped. But this app did, I could finally fall asleep quicker and my stress levels were lower at night. The fact I'm coloring (each thing you color makes the noise of the object you're touching, it's amazing) and listening to calming background music and narration steers me away from the things that would keep me awake at night. I still use it now, even if the frequency of sleepscapes is far lower than the usual. To me it's become an essential app. I am however disappointed at the lack of communication, updates and sleepscapes. I want to believe there is a good reason and that they still have the best for the users in mind. I am hoping the app goes back to it's former glory. 1 sleepscape a month was perfect. I would love more Nostalgia episodes but I trust the choices of the team. They are all nice in the end. I'll be giving it 3 stars for the lack of presence/communication and for the fact that we're not getting 1 sleepscape a month. I am going to change it back to 5 stars as soon as it changes back though. Would only be fair.

Started off as a wonderful app but has been abandoned- and updates have ground to a halt while the team focus on a new VR app. Still paying the same price though!!
Only one new escape episode in many months (in April!) even though on some app screens it says 'new escapes every month'. Any replies to questions about when new escapes will be issued are met with the same copypasta reply. There is absolutely NOTHING like this app anywhere which is something you'd think would be cherished by the developer and its users valued, rather than ignored or fobbed off. Shame 🫤

Another long-time customer noting that despite Loona’s subscription model they have not added significant content to the app in over a year, when they used to add (and advertise it as company practice to add) new Escapes monthly. Seems like they’ve abandoned their loyal customer base - boilerplate about the lengthy process of content development notwithstanding - as per discussions on Reddit they’ve fired staff and are now focusing on developing VR content. That seems to be borne out by their website. It’s such a shame, it was a great product while it lasted, but as it stands is no longer worth the price of subscription.

I love this app, it has helped me so much in the past but i am still paying to redo escapes that I have done at least 3 times each. There really needs to be new content. I haven't seen any new ones in at least a year, maybe more. Such a shame.

I use this app primarily for the escapes, have been a member for a few years. The escapes truly help my anxiety and with sleep, the narration is calming, as are the background sounds. The graphics are gorgeous. My only issue is that the escapes seem to be rarely updated and redoing older ones isn’t quite as calming for me. I hope they can start consistently adding more, especially if they expect members to use it several times a week.
