Come to sort the main drains at my fathers house
Made the whole thing worse and ended up being more blocked than before they came. They said the drains had collapsed (hadn’t) and full of shingle (think they put it in there) quoted a massive fee to dig them up
Asked for a refund even sent them the report and video of the drains and not interested just wanted to charge more
Got a second opinion and a camera down no collapses just general wear for an old house they flushed them out had no issues at all, completely sorted, would NEVER recommend them

I’m very disappointed with the substandard service I received from London Drains Direct.

Two engineers attended my property for a blocked external drain. After just 30 minutes, they gave up, claiming the blockage couldn't be cleared without further intervention. No real progress was made—the water level remained unchanged, and they left the area in a worse condition than they found it, without doing a proper cleanup.

Despite not resolving the issue, I was still charged £168. Even more concerning, I was then given a quote for £942 for additional work that turned out to be completely unnecessary.

Thankfully, I reached out to another drainage company, who diagnosed the actual problem within 30 minutes and confirmed it was outside my property boundary—a matter for Thames Water. Thames Water later confirmed the same. The second company charged me a lot less for their investigation and saved me from paying for work I didn’t need.

This experience has left me feeling misled and out of pocket. I expected a professional assessment and fair advice, but instead, I feel like I was being pushed into expensive, unjustified work.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend London Drains Direct.

London Drains Direct have just completed an amazing job on our drain that was in dire need of some TLC!
The engineers who came out were courteous and extremely knowledgeable, explaining exactly what was wrong. The problem was diagnosed and dealt with efficiently within a very short time period.
Communication with the company was excellent and Chelsea was very helpful. I can would recommend this company to sort out any drain problems.

Today was the second time that London drains were called out to do jobs that the council jetters were unable to do. Two gents called and I explained to them that the problem was most likely a blocked or collapsed pipe in a waste pipe that runs through tenants garages which of course were locked. I knew this because the same problem occurred almost 20 years ago and affected about 4 flats, the same this time. I didn't hold out much hope but undeterred they managed to clear the blockage which they said was about 5 metres from my flat. I was very happy as I have a stoma and need access to a working toilet and sink 24/7. The 2 guys were very nice , perfect manners and listened to what I had to say while explaining to them where I thought the problem was.
When they were finished they left the bathroom and separate toilet lovely and clean, a lot cleaner than it was when they arrived and even fixed a leak at the back of one of the toilets. I was very impressed, the same as I was the only other time they attended.
These guys knew what they were doing, keep up the good work.

After a terrible experience with a dodgy drain company, I was so relieved to have London Drains Direct step in and solve the problem in under an hour. Joe and Matt were absolutely fantastic—professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their pricing was straightforward, with no hidden extras or surprises. Very rapid response subject to availability. Upon engineer arrival, very friendly, helpful, honest opinion on issue. Straight onto solving blockage issues. Once finished and satisfied. Straight onto next customer for another efficiency service. Could not fault this company.

The serviceman/owner sent out by the company is a very dishonest person. They claim you need the more expensive service, even when that is not the case. When you call then back to rectify something, they don't turn up.
THE MAN IS A THIEF!
Make sure you DEMAND a CCTV check before they use the jet wash so they don't trick you into the more expensive service.
I have reported the company to the relevant authorities. We should not tolerate this criminality.

Absolutely AMAZING 10/10

After experiencing repeated blocked/over-flowing drains in my tenant's flat I called London Drains Direct and spoke to their incredibly friendly and helpful customer service agent Chelsea who dispatched a team of highly professional, efficient, reliable knowledgeable and expert drainage engineers (Danny and Bradley) within 48 hours to come and fix the issue.

On arrival they immediately diagnosed the problem and suggested a well-designed solution, fixing it 100% making it look brand new in under a day as well as tidying everything up and kindly disposing of all the dirt and materials.

Genuinely brilliant 10/10 thank you so much - Highly recommended and I'll definitely be utilising them again in the future.

My wife just told me that one of your drivers cut her up and ended up jumping out at another driver and trying to run up to there car. A couple weeks ago but couldnt remember the name of your company untill she see one of your vans today. Not very professional atall awful behaviour.

This is the second time I have used London Drains Direct. Both times the booking process was efficient and quick. They provided great advice on what would be needed without being pushy. Ben did the work on our property both times and he was extremely knowledgable, communicated with us every step of the way and worked diligently to complete the tasks in the given time frame. He arrived on time with everything he needed. I would recommend London Drains Direct and would recommend that Ben’s services are requested.

An initial survey showed many defects in our old drain channel. Engineer Ben and his guys cleaned and installed liner in 2 drain sections and resolved any issues that came up. The survey was detailed and thorough, and they talked me through the process, each step. Very professional work. I highly recommend London Drains Direct.

Very efficient service. LDD surveyed the partial blockage problem in my sewer and gave me advice about the need for further work I need to get done to provide them with the necessary access. Will be re-booking LDD to complete the task in a few days. Thanks LDD for your work and advice. I recommend this company; their fixed price system is fair and very reasonable.
