Really brilliant service
Really brilliant service! I was injured and could not walk or stand bit had bought tickets months beforehand to attend a long looked forward festival - but these guys came to the rescue! They delivered us a wheelchair to our flat in less than 24 hrs. It was SO brilliant and meant I didn't have to miss out on something really fabulous. Thank you! Kind and efficient service, they checked in on delivery and collection and made it all very easy.

These folks are fabulous to deal with! We had a long planned holiday in London in June. (We are both Seniors). My husband needed heart surgery prior to our departure on our holiday and his mobility was limited. We found London Express Wheelchair Hire on line. Their booking process was very easy. Delivery and collection of the wheelchair was seamless and their drivers were friendly and kind. I needed to contact their office and they were very responsive both by telephone call and WhatsApp messaging. The wheelchair was comfortable for my husband and easy for me to push and manage. It was lightweight and easy for me to carry up and down stairs. The ease of the rental and having access to the wheelchair made our holiday and time in London so very enjoyable as we were able to go where we wished, on long walks, out to restaurants, shopping! Thank you so very much!! Highly recommend!!

My wife and I who are Australians had…
My wife and I who are Australians had planned a one month driving tour of UK and Ireland in May 2026. Few days prior to our departure from Sydney – Australia my wife had an ankle injury which almost ruined our holiday. The foot specialist whom we consulted advised her to wear a ‘cam-boot’ for the trip and ideally to use a wheelchair at least for the first two weeks. Prior to our departure I found London Wheelchair hire to book a wheelchair. The staff was absolutely exceptional, they dropped off the wheelchair at the hotel at Heathrow at the time they committed as we were driving to Oxford after picking up the hire car the following day. The wheelchair was a god’s sent to us and by having it , didn’t hinder our planned visit to many palaces. After 4 weeks of travel, we returned to Heathrow to same hotel before leaving for Australia. The wheelchair was picked up as agreed from the hotel. A big thank you for the staff at the wheelchair office (they even called me in Sydney before we left on our tour to confirm that all is fine) and the delivery people for the superb five-star service we received. We unexpectedly needed to hire a…
We unexpectedly needed to hire a wheelchair for our London city break. This company was a life saver. We hired the chair to be delivered to our hotel which was there waiting for us when we arrived. I originally booked it to be collected on the Wednesday but we had all day in London on the Wednesday too and I wouldn’t have managed without it. I rang to see if they could extend it till the Thursday even though we left the Wednesday night. This was no problem
For London express wheelchair hire they extended collection day until the Thursday at no extra cost and collected from the hotel. We received regular updates to confirm wheelchair was dropped off and collected. Thank you London Express Wheelchair. Fab service, would highly recommend.

Our London holiday would have been ruined, but for these good people.
We were two "pensioners/retirees in our mid 70s, friends since we were 17". Our trip to the UK was the one-last-hurrah we had been planning since our 60's; a 'pilgrimage' to Islay, Scotland, home of our favorite single malt Scotch.
The 2-week plan had been to drive for the first week down from Scotland, (taking in the sights I had been regaling my best friend about for the decades he'd raised his family back home while I worked in most of the free world), to then tour London for the last week.
On the 4th day my companion fell on our return ferry from Islay and severely sprained his right ankle. So there went the trip; or so we thought.
Once in London we found online "London Wheelchair Hire, LTD", and WHAT A GODSEND!
The Mobility Scooter was delivered to our hotel early the next morning, ready for our week in London.
Cabs, Tubes, Buses, you name it we rode on & off it with no trouble taking in London!
Call "London Wheelchair Hire". You will NOT regret it. :o)

Copland nursing home
The delivery and pick up of the wheelchair was punctual. They delivered it to the nursing home. The wheelchair was used for my 91 year old dementia suffering mother.
The professional and calm manner during the phone call transaction, was knowledgeable and confidence inspiring.
The rate was reasonable and the wheelchair was clean and in excellent work order.

I was let down by another company 12…
I was let down by another company 12 hiurs before I was due to fly but they was kind enough to give me the number of your company.
When I ran the LWC and explained to the girl what happened she was so helpful as I was upset due to the fact I could not have got on holiday as i could hardly walk. She was so kind and rang me back to say they could deliver a wheelchair later that afternoon.
When the man delivered it ( not sure if his name was Pete) I asked him if I could take a video of how to put the feet flaps so hence only his hands!! to show my granddaughter . He was more than happy and was so helpful and patent with me.
The wheelchair was just average but to me it was a godsend.
The service and staff are excellent. Kind and helpful and without you I would not have had a holiday so I can't thank you enough.
