Loftplan have been great to work with from start to finish. The team were friendly, easy to deal with, and we felt confident in the quality of the work throughout. Communication was clear and consistent, and they were flexible with the build — even accommodating custom changes like adding new skylights during construction. The timeline ran a little longer than first quoted, but not by much, and the end result made it well worth it. Overall, a very positive experience.

This was our first experience of using a company that does everything, had always previously hired trades separately to try and save money and spread costs but the logistics of Loftplan doing everything made it really smooth. All the trades are co-ordinated via a supervisor (Warren) who we set up a WhatsApp group with and all issues were dealt with promptly. All the workmen were efficient and helpful and if we had any questions they were dealt with on site or through the supervisor quickly. Our original plans, although fairly straightforward (bedroom and small bathroom), did change a few times, door positions, walls moving, accommodating shower trays, pipes etc and the changes were all discussed and solutions were well thought out. We felt the quotes we received were competitive. We’ve been in our new loft room for a month or so now and it has really changed the whole house and how we use it. We spent a few months debating whether to move but are really pleased we made this investment now for the future of our house and our lives.

Loftplan handled every step of the process from design to completion. Their service both on and offsite was first class. The finish is better than we expected, and the disruption was minimal as they don't enter the house until they break through. Steve and Jack, who started the project were first class as was Mark who completed the project. The ever present Bob kept everything on track and kept us informed throughout the build. Would highly recommend

We recently completed a loft renovation with LoftPlan, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

From start to finish, the whole process was smooth, professional, and very well managed. Communication was clear throughout, and we always felt informed and reassured at every stage.

Like any big project, there were a couple of small hiccups along the way, but what really stood out was how quickly and efficiently they were sorted. The team were proactive, responsive, and always focused on finding the right solution, which made a big difference.

The quality of the workmanship is excellent, with real attention to detail in every aspect of the build. The team on-site were friendly, tidy, and respectful of our home, which we really appreciated.

The end result has completely transformed our house — we now have a beautiful, functional space that’s added so much value to our home and daily life.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LoftPlan to anyone considering a loft conversion. A genuinely 5-star experience.

There was clarity from the start, no pushy sales process and a thorough chat through with Nic prior to commencing work. Then with all the decisions we had to make along the way we were given options, time to decide and everything was explained and checked by our project manager Warren so we always knew where we were.
On site during the build, Grant, John and then Mark as well as the rest of the crew were brilliant, as well as respectful of our neighbours and two young kids.

The end result is excellent and we're really pleased with the space they've created as well as retaining a decent amount of eaves storage.

We would highly recommend Loftplan. They took care of everything meaning we didn’t have to go searching for and organising all the various parts. All the guys were great, very lovely and left things clean. Thank you!

Loftplan has been wonderful and could not have done a better job. They gave a very good price and did not hassle me when I took a long time to accept. And the price didn’t change. During the build, I kept changing my mind and they listened and found a way to do what I wanted making excellent suggestions as we went along. Everyone was kind and respectful. The project was brilliantly managed and the attention to detail of those with specialist skills has been amazing. I am very pleased with my new space. It consists of a beautifully proportioned ‘loft’ room with large glass doors onto a wide oak balcony and a lovely shower room, everything fitted just as I wanted. Loftplan could not have tried harder to give me what I wanted. Everybody I show the room to remarks on the quality of the finish. I am only sorry their work is done. They were without exception a pleasure to have around. I cannot recommend them too highly. They are the BEST.

Loftplan have just completed our loft conversion and it is amazing. The teams that worked on our conversion were great, very polite and kept us well informed at every stage.

We particularly like the fact that they work entirely from the outside until the stairs went in so there was no disruption in the house.

I write this review as I cannot fault my experience with Loftplan. Any loft conversion is a big decision and a considerable financial outlay. From my initial meeting with Nic to discuss and agree the design, to working with Bob (find me anyone who knows more about lofts than Bob?!), and the lads who did the hard work, I felt assured I had made the right choice throughout. As a whole they explained everything at each point and answered my queries making me feel comfortable. The space they managed to create and attention to detail have delivered an end result better than expected. I opted to tile the en-suite myself, a first for me. With this in mind, the lads made it as easy as possible for me with their prep and were patient to allow me the time to get it done, before returning for their final fix.
My final point would be that when getting quotes Loftplan were not the cheapest (not by much tbh) but my experience has justified the decision.
Thanks again to everyone at Loftplan for transforming my living space and generally being a great bunch of people!

We’re extremely happy with our loft conversion by Loftplan. From the first meeting, Alan was very helpful and reassuring, especially for us as beginners to a project like this.
Bob, the supervisor, was knowledgeable, approachable, and communicated clearly throughout the build. All the teams involved – dormer installation, plastering, stairs, and second fix – were professional and did a great job.
The office team were also helpful and responsive throughout the process. The project was completed to a high standard and was competitively priced. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Loftplan.

We have received an excellent service from Bob and the team at Loftplan. We have recommended to friends, family and neighbours. They have been nothing but professional and respectful. We are very happy with our an additional space that’s means we no longer have to move.

A solid company, who consider a good professional design according to building standards.
I asked LoftPlan to make a quote for my mother's house to give more space, because I have architectural knowledge and she is too old to deal with builders and similar companies.
While they are very busy and could not come quickly, once they came, the designer produced professional documents and carefully considered all building standards and requirements.
I give a 4 star rating because they work very rigidly to their quality and standard (which is good and as a professional company it is necessary), however, since I was unable to be present for the viewing (only my mother was present) I was not able to directly explain to the designer how he could adapt the regulations (only over the telephone) in our specific case, which meant the solution was solid but more expensive than it could have been, had some elements been optimised - the company (to be sure) sticks to their exact guidelines. For a general client without building knowledge this is probably a plus but for someone with good building experience, there can be optimisations.

I used Loftplan many years ago to do a loft conversion of my terraced house. They did such a good job that when I came to getting quotes to do the same in my new build they were number 1 on my list. The great thing about Loftplan is that (apart from the bathroom tiling) they do everything from start to finish. As such the build was seamless. As and when needed, people doing different jobs came and went. I did not have to organise any of it which made it hassle free for me. All of the staff involved, Nic (initial visit and quote), Charlie (in the office), Grant (structural works), Shaun (carpentry), Alan (plumbing), the plasterers and electricians and of course Bob the project manager who oversaw the conversion (and coincidently my first loft conversion) were amazing. All works were completed with the minimum of disruption and any mess was cleaned up at the end of each day. Throughout the build they made suggestions and listened and acted upon my requests for slight changes to the build. For example I wanted to make the bathroom a bit bigger to have a larger shower. A discussion around my table with Bob and Grant achieved this with a minimum of fuss. I took them up on the offer to install built-in wardrobes. I would suggest you do the same and go for the Shaker option. If you can, get Shaun to do them as he did a fantastic job. I thought that getting a tiler in towards the end of the job would be tricky but Loftplan worked around the dates my tiler could do the job and their was no stress. They did an amazing job and I can't recommend them highly enough. The fact that they are still around after completing my first loft conversion over ten years ago shows just how good they are.

Anyone thinking of having a loft conversion- book Loft Plan! From the early planning stages to the final and finished build I couldn’t have been happier with the team. Every stage was talked about and discussed and everything was made to our specifications- even if we changed our mind on things. The boys worked so hard in all weathers and we couldn’t be happier

I cannot recommend Loft plan highly enough. Our loft extension project commenced in March of this year and was structurally complete by July!

Warren, Chris and Mark - just a few of Loftplan’s exceptional tradesmen - absolutely blew us away with their skill and attention to detail. They were polite, diligent and considerate, always clearing up and keeping the site spotless.

Communication was key to us feeling in control and our project manger Warren kept us updated daily, informing us of who would be working on site. His responses to any questions we had were always swift and knowledgable.

Loftplan’s use of an independent building regs company helped bypass the long, tedious council led process locally, allowing the project to progress seamlessly and to be signed off efficiently.

We are very pleased with our loft conversion by Loftplan, which added two double bedrooms and a large shower room to our home. During the initial consultation and quoting phase, Alan at Loftplan stood out from the competitors. He quickly understood our requirements, maximised our available loft space in his design, and provided useful guidance on the build process. We also found Loftplan’s quote to be very competitive. Throughout the construction phase, Warren, our Project Manager, was excellent. He was responsive and reliable, and accommodated all of our requests. Furthermore, all the tradespeople were courteous, friendly, and helpful. While we had a few snagging issues and plumbing problems, Warren promptly addressed and resolved them. We would highly recommend Loftplan!

We are delighted with the outcome of our loft conversion. All the guys Loftplan sent have been brilliant, but a special shout out to Chris and Elliott, who were fantastic, and a pleasure to have here. And not forgetting Bob who did an excellent job overseeing the project from start to finish. We would have no hesitation in recommending Loftplan.

We are very happy with our new loft extension. It was built to the agreed budget and within the agreed timescales. It was meticulously planned. All the staff employed by Loftplan have been super helpful; the roofer, builders, electricians, plumbers, plasterers, bathroom people. The company responds quickly to calls and whatsapps, and gets things dealt with when they arise. We moved from having a poorly designed small 1980's one room loft (with a staircase running through the middle of the room) to a new large one, gaining a double bedroom, a second bathroom and an office; all for less than it would cost to have moved to a larger house. Delighted.

The quality of their work was excellent, their customer service faultless and ultimately their clever design maximised the added value to our property. Unlike many homes in our estate with loft conversions, we did not have to reducr or lose our small bedroom to make room for the stair case, meaning we gained an additional bedroom. Right from the outset, they stood out to me as a highly professional and slick operation compared to so many other building firms - and I spoke to a lot! The price was fixed for the job, there was no hidden costs or surprises later on. The specification was very clear so we knew exactly what we were paying for, giving us peace of mind. Additional costs were agreed upfront if we asked for extras like the bedside lamps fitted into the walls.

In the early stages of the build I raised a concern about the ceiling height and the supervisor responded immediately by speaking with the building inspector and agreeing alterations that gave us a couple more inches of head height. This turned out to be crucial as we could then get fitted wardrobes from Wren we wouldn't have been able to with the lower height.

Loft plan project managed the entire project from plans to building control, and organising all the trades. It was seemless. I had regular visits from the supervisor to check progress on the build, which was swift and in line with the timelines they estimated from the start. If there were ever any issues or snags these were dealt with very quickly and without quibble.

The workmen themselves were tidy, respectful and took pride in their work.

We have done major renovations before and I can confidently say that loft plan have been the best building firm we have worked with and I highly recommend them.
