1st Defence Locksmiths Leeds Omdömen

Ben was very helpful and was able to fit my job in to accommodate me. I was a little late on the day turning up at my house and he was very chilled about it. Completed the job efficiently . I recommend Ben

Really helpful and professional service. Came out very quickly to help us with our emergency. Recommend

Really good and quick service. My front door locks broke and the door was sticking. Full discussion by phone, reasonable quote given, service quickly arranged for the next day. Kind and efficient service given and also repaired my back gate lock which was out of alignment. Really appreciate feeling more secure.

Excellent quick and efficient service. Thank you.

Absolutely 1st class service. I emailed Ben over the weekend explaining my issue and I received a response within 1hr and an appointment arranged for a few days time. Ben turned up on time talked me through what needed doing all work was completed professionally without any fuss.
Would highly recommend.

I spoke with Ben today who fitted me in the time that I needed. Mark came out to complete the job, extremely helpful, and very competent. I cant really praise them enough. And can you believe it, he even vacuumed up after himself! Not a lot of work men do that. I will definitely use again and recommend. Thanks Ben & Mark.

Very good communication and very reliable. Ben was able to sort the door issue easily and at a reasonable price. Good value for money and very pleasant to deal with. Will definitely use again.

I rang Ben and he was with me in less than an hour. He fully explained what was wrong, talked me through what he had done and offered advice going forward. Brilliant service! Thank you

Rang in the morning, was able to fit us in the same day. Arrived promptly. Changed the locks quickly and efficiently and explained all aspects of the job. Tidied up and left no mess. Very pleased with all aspects of the job. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent job as always - great communication from start to finish, and Mark is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Great to find such trustworthy people!

I could not open my front door and was effectively locked in. Ben came as soon as he could the same day and fixed the problem. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended.

Excellent service! Prompt replies to arrange the visit and friendly, professional, great quality work done on the day. We plan to use 1st defense locksmith again and would recommend to others!

I’m glad the locksmith got that sorted for you—it can be such a pain when the door won’t close properly. Here’s a polished review you could leave on their page:

I had an issue with my door where the lock mechanism was catching and making it difficult to lock. The locksmith came out promptly and quickly identified the problem. He realigned the door and had everything working smoothly in no time. Very professional, friendly, and efficient service—I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing locksmith work.

Quick efficient and provided advice on how I could save money when fixing some window locks which meant the company would not have made as much money but they were happy to do it. Means I will be a repeat customer for bigger jobs going forward if required.

Called 1st Defence as we had a 20+ year old lock starting to fail. Spoke with Ben who was really friendly, no pressure and gave an approximate quote based on what details I gave him. Got booked for a slot the day after which was great as the rest of the week would have been a struggle.
Lock has been replaced, was swapped out pretty quickly and the chap that came to replace it not only cleaned up after himself but also had me test the keys before he left so we were both happy that everything was okay before he left, bonus as came in about £15 cheaper than discussed.
Definitely recommend, no hard sell, works around you and has done a great job.

This company is highly recommended. Ben came out quickly to sort out an issue with a lock on my elderly mum’s front door. He replaced it quickly and efficiently, plus offered advice as my mum doesn’t have a lot of strength in her hands and recommended a device that goes on the key to help in this kind of situation. Top class service 👍

Ben was friendly, on time, and explained the issue and the solution clearly. He suggested future options, providing good advice and without pushing for a decision on the doorstep. I would recommend Ben and 1st Defence to anyone who needs a good locksmith.

Mark arrived promptly, was professional and friendly. Mark established that the existing lock mechanism could be adjusted thereby saving us money not to have to pay for a new lock. Mark adjusted the lock mechanism and it worked perfectly. Would recommend.
