I was late 1 hour on my return due to traffic and was charged a full day. The car was dirty and had bird poop on the outside. The return attendant was rude as well. The staff at Civitavecchia was good.

Mi sono avvalsa del servizio di noleggio auto presso la Locauto sede di Civitavecchia. Ho trovato professionalità e cortesia nel trattare con il cliente, oltre all'immediatezza del servizio.

The Rep at Fiumicino airport was not very nice, the car was great however when I arrived at Civitavecchia to return the car the office was closed from 13:00-15:00 and no drop off key box, just a phone number which no one answered, however the HERTZ office down the block was open,

Davvero efficiente e veloce, soprattutto Jacopo all’accettazione è riuscito subito a risolvermi il problema e darmi un auto giusta per le mie esigenze, la consiglio veramente.

salve, tutto sommato ci siamo trovati bene; Jacopo collega giovane ma professionale e disponibile. siamo arrivate dalle marche in treno e purtroppo arrivate con ritardo e ci ha aspettato per il ritiro dell'auto. l'unica cosa che avevamo bisogno di qualche chiarimento per l"auto elettrica e moderna che abbiamo poi visto in autonomia. grazie

Personale molto cortese e pronto ad accogliere le richieste. Nel riconsegnare la macchina, nonostante fossi arrivato 30 minuti prima dall'apertura dell'agenzia, sono stato ben accolto e in pochi minuti mi hanno liberato dall'impegno.

We went to pick up our car at Locauto Rent at the main office in Civitavecchia, and the service provided by the young man at the counter was very poor. We had to wait for an hour before being attended to, even though there was only one couple and one other person ahead of us.

The employee was completely unprofessional and never explained the reason for the delay. He was the only person serving customers at the time. My daughter, who lives in Switzerland, called him to ask about the situation, but he hung up on her and claimed that there were many people waiting, which was simply not true.

Fortunately, a very kind lady who works with the tourist buses noticed what was happening and helped us.

For that reason, I am giving 2 stars. The service from the employee and the company at the main Civitavecchia office was extremely disappointing.

As for the car we received, it was fine and met our expectations.

Personal war sehr nett und Buchungsprozess auch ok.

Outstanding for me was the efficiency and client friendliness of the staff both when commencing and finishing a rental. We rented Locauto cars on 2 occasions in separate locations on our recent trip. One of the cars we received, a Tiguan from Milan, was rather old and without some useful features (eg, reversing camera). The other, a VW T Cross, was excellent in every way. I will use Locauto again in the future.

I had an excellent experience with this car rental company. The staff member who helped me was incredibly fast, friendly, and professional. I even received a free upgrade, which was a very nice surprise.

Returning the car was just as quick and easy, with a smooth and efficient check-in process. The entire experience was hassle-free from start to finish.

I give this car rental company a 10/10. Perfect service and highly recommended!

When I went to turn the vehicle in at the Port in Rome, we had stopped to get gas and fill up 21 miles befroe arrival. Driving the Fiat 600, I know that short distance did not consume much gas. Argued with your attendant, and since we were short on time to make our crusie ship, it was a waste of time. Cost me 71.52 euros. Very frustrated.

I am quite disappointed. I rented the car based on the price compared to other rental agencies. The cost of the insurance was extremely high, which came as a surprise. Additionally, I was returning the car in a different city, and I hadn't been informed that the office was closed on Saturday afternoons or that there was no option for after-hours drop-off.
I was supposed to return the car at 12:00 PM, but due to a death in the family, we were delayed and I arrived at 1:16 PM to drop it off.
Despite this, there was someone at the office who said the system was already closed and she couldn't process the return. I explained the situation, and she accepted the car with the understanding that she would update the system the following day; I agreed to this. She and another person—who wasn't wearing a uniform—got into the car and drove off. The tank was full, as required. To my surprise, I was charged for an extra day, a refueling fee, and the cost of the fuel itself.
I found this outrageous; my situation regarding the family death wasn't even taken into account, and I was charged unfairly. A terrible experience.

Esperienza fantastica con Locauto! Mi sono trovata benissimo fin dal primo momento. Il personale è davvero preparato e molto professionale, pronto a rispondere a ogni esigenza. La macchina era impeccabile: pulitissima e in condizioni eccellenti. Non posso che consigliare questo servizio a chiunque cerchi qualità e cortesia. Sicuramente tornerò da loro!
