Order Never Arrived and Ghosted

I ordered a helmet from them on August 16th, and kept track of my order with the link they provided that led to 17track. On the 22nd It stopped moving altogether. I emailed them on the 5th of September, and they got back to me on the 6th and 11th. After that I didn't hear anything from them. I emailed them a second time on the 23rd to ask for an update, and again of the 30th for an update or a refund.
Using the tracking number for Fed Ex that 17track provides, Fed Ex never received my order because the only thing in their tracking timeline was that the label was created August 17th.

Edit: I have done what they have said below and I have still heard nothing.

Edit 2: I have requested a refund, but they only offered to send a new one (which every time before was never sent) and ghosted me. I have lodged a complaint through econsumer.gov.

Enttäuscht, gab nach kurzer Zeit den Geist auf.

Habe einen Helm von Livall mit Blinkerfunktion gekauft. (BH 62 Neo). Nach ein paar Mal Gebrauch lässt sich die Fernbedienung (Controller) partout nicht mehr mit dem Handy verbinden, Knopfzelle erneuert, geht nicht. Ich bedaure den Kauf und lass die Finger von Livall.

ordering the MC1 Pro gone wrong

I was excited to order a smart helmet with the bells and whistles, I had the helmet in my cart and was excited to purchase the MC1 Pro helmet when they sent me a 15% off coupon. I ordered the helmet on 7/4 and received the helmet on 7/16. This is where things go downhill. I saw a round plastic shipping bag at my doorstep and thought there's no way that's my new helmet. I picked it up and opened the bag and saw that it was the MC1 Pro helmet in the thin cloth motorcycle helmet bag inside a plastic bag. What were they thinking?! No box for protection from shipping or anything! Now the structural integrity of the helmet is questionable at best! There's scuffs, dents, and dings all over this helmet also found that this helmet has been previously used as well! The stickers had signs of handling and use, the tags were cut, the instruction manuals were also creased and appeared to be previously used. There's no mention on their website that these were pre-owned or returned units.

Emailing back and forth with sales, user, and support, only one response per day or night since the day of deliverance 7/16.

I wanted an exchange for a new unit since that's what I paid for.

They tell me that I would have to purchase the helmet AGAIN then they'll refund me. Or ship the helmet to their shipping location

I currently have a dispute with them through PayPal.

Livall, do better. I purchased a helmet directly from your website and you sent me a used one. Please note it on your website that the product is previously used or new.

Low quality of Livall products and lack of service as such ? Is the service live?

Despite the negative feedback about the Livall company and their products, I took the plunge and purchased a helmet made by them LIVALL BH51M Neo - Sandstone Grey, Large (57-61 cm) Colour: Sandstone Grey, with a control panel. Right out of the box, the remote worked for three days without interruptions. After changing the battery at Halfords store service, this remote stopped working altogether.
Contacted the manufacturer about this problem. They wrote back, said they would send a new remote control and asked to upload a photo of the purchase confirmation. Sent them all the photos. After that, they don't respond. No reply letter, and no new remote control! People wrote the truth about this terrible company! People, do not buy the products of this company, because in addition to the good idea of ​​the "intelligent helmet", you will get only a low-quality product! Save your money and your nervous system!
P.S. 09.11.2023 Whoever repeatedly knocks on the door, that's why they open it! Three weeks of correspondence with the service center, which was constantly looking for an excuse to ignore my request to replace the defective remote, yielded results. They sent a new control panel with which the helmet will fully work.

terrible product, worse service

completely stopped powering on and taking a charge within 4 days of receiving the helmet. Company won't replace, only refund once I pay for shipping to send it back and their only solution for that is to provide a coupon to cover the shipping costs after they receive it....only why would I want to buy Livall again after going through this? And even if I did want to stay with Livall, not sure what I'm supposed to do with a coupon that would have to have more value than the helmet, because if I'm sending it back and providing the shipping label/service myself, I'm sending it overnight to stop wasting time on not having a helmet to ride. Sorry, but I don't need a $500 coupon to cover shipping to buy a $200 helmet that turned out to be a piece of junk from a company with even worse service.

DO NOT BUY A LIVALL HELMET

I highly suggest not doing business with Livall.

I purchased their RS1 snowboard helmet and once I received the helmet I immediately had buyers remorse.

The helmet does not feel safe....they have their own version of MIPS, however it feels just like a plushy layer - not anything that would actually save my life.

So I asked for a refund - which was like pulling teeth. They did not respond via email initially, so I had to begin a refund request with PayPal. They finally responded and told me to send the helmet to their customer service address.

I did that and over a month later they say they still do not know where my helmet is and cannot help me with my refund request.

These guys just like to take your money and run!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LIVALL!

Kickstarter for Livall with Sound by…

Kickstarter for Livall with Sound by JBL. This is to warn people of the kickstarters from this company. They did a campaign that started back in August or just before. There have been red flags throughout the Kickstarter. Ppl started being asked to pay for extra that were given as part of the campaign (personalize numbers, colors etc.). Then you did the purchase and survey they then come back to some like me and say they created an error and now you won't get the number and give you a compensation package to be sent with the helmet. Ok cool.

In between this time, they suddenly say to ppl after they paid, oh we can only ship to certain countries. So, a lot of people who thought they would get these helmets can't even get ship to them after they have made the purchase.

To further the issues, they sent a follow up email, that they weren't going to start shipping the helmets until they got a 100% fulfillment on a survey they sent out. You are talking over 2000 backers, some who already stated to them they never received the survey. It was not until pressure from the backers they changed their tactic and said they will start shipping but the shipping time would move to end of October from September which is fine but...

You start seeing backers having issues of not receiving any emails or updates when sent, last general update was October 19th I believe. Also, a lot of backers who have received the helmets have been having issues with the speakers not working or wrong color etc. It's been a real mess.

The worst part is backers like me have followed their process as they requested, and they aren't answering our emails or our inquiries. The page is a private group on FB but you would see tons of complaints, annoyed customers etc. Some of us are even wondering if it was a scam to do a money grab, yes it has gotten that bad.

And to top it off, they have sent to backers of helmet campaign who still not received their paid for product yet or having severe issues, another request for another Kickstarter when this one is in such disarray?!?!

So, this is a warning to others, do not join their Kickstarter, wait till they have a finish product through regular resellers. I've had other Kickstarters even with shipping delays, but this has been the worst one ever. I am like many others, still waiting for the shipping notification or any sort of ETA but have not received either one. Emails and other inquiries gone unanswered, and this has left a very sour taste in my mouth for a company I held in high regard as I have a few of their products and they have worked flawlessly but that was over the counter purchases. Well lesson learned on this one.

SOOPER_HELMET – NOT...!

S0 I bought this super-dooper Bike helmet with all its wonderful flashing lights, bangs-and-whistles blahdy-blah – inclusive of "JBL"-ear-speakers – for just about $180.00, via the LIVALL website: having seen it originally on Kickstarter.
Straight out of the box, on arrival, the right hand speaker didn't work.
Immediately wrote-off and made contact with the Service Department – generating this response from the company:
– Provide a Copy of the Invoice
– Photo of the Serial # on the box and –
– a VIDEO of what wasn't working.
All done – and sent off 24 hours later.
Bottom line, after multiple emails back-and-forth with a series of intellectually-challenged respondents in the Service department – all with different names – I have had to end up developing a claim with PayPal.
I did so because – despite receiving a defective product straight out of its package – LIVALL wanted ME to pay the return costs to their USA warehouse from the EU.
They did – as is customary with a lot of such Chinese box-pushing companies – offer, however, for me to keep the helmet and they would return me a "discount / partial refund".
Personally, I was happy to return their junky helmet and get a full refund – with the return being at "their" cost.
Let's see where THAT goes – because PayPal doesn't exactly make it easy to get any kind of refund either...!
What pisses me off is that these companies often have really good ideas but simply play "a numbers game" – whereby they calculate to themselves that if a certain percentage of the product is shonky and has issues, only a very small percentage of dissatisfied customers – such as myself – will actually be committed enough to go through the aggravation of making a claim.
We – in the West – have become extremely lazy and we really DO need to now ween ourselves off buying this mass-produced kind of techno-seductive, mostly unnecessary self-gratifying "junk" and focus on supporting our own more real, and understandable value-systems. They may not be better, they may not be more honest: but at least they are comprehensible.

LIVALL did not respond to PayPal's follow-up on my complaint and so in consequence I received a FULL REFUND.

Rubbish

Paid over £100 for a helmet that doesn't work on bright sunny days. Bluetooth keeps losing connection. Charging cable is rubbish. Overall, the worst helmet I've ever bought. Avoid at all costs. Your life may depend on it!

High design comes with low build quality.

I purchased a £79.99 helmet through Amazon. Looks good but the build quality doesn't justify the price.

One day, it just fell apart, in two. You can even see inside its glued with a glue gun.

Customer services replied that because I have it for longer than my warranty, I should pay another £39.99 to repair it.

I find it my duty to warn others:
I would be really cautious when deciding if I will buy from them. I actually won't give them another penny.
