I need to update this review after my 14th visit:
FYI: THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFICALLY FOR the LIGHTLOUNGE in Boulder, CO

UPDATE: "Today I completed my 14th session at LIGHT LOUNGE BOULDER.
I joined as a Charter Member and I'm very happy that I did. The facility is clean and well maintained. The machines are medical grade and FDA cleared. There are two rooms with Infrared light machines. I have downloaded two apps that I use ALL the time.

One is the app I use on my phone (There's also a way to get to it on a URL on a computer or tablet!), to book or cancel my appointments. This might be my favorite thing. It's SO flexible. I have OFTEN canceled the appt I had made and make a different one on any given day...maybe I need to go earlier or later. It's very very easy to do. I also LOVE that I can go early or late in the day and often it's before or after hours. The OTHER APP "KISI" is the one I use to unlock the door. Even after hours I feel safe in there knowing that only members can open the facility door and the lock inside the room where my session will be.

RESULTS: After just 14 sessions one does not TYPICALLY see miraculous results. I'm doing this because about 2 months ago I learned that I have peripheral neuropathy and it's been painful and depressing. In just the 14 sessions I've done I've seen actual changes in the appearance of the skin on my feet (toes, ball and heel, etc). I have hours (often days now) of no redness, no pain or very mild pain.

I'm looking forward to finishing the 6-8weeks of inflammation (recommended before you switch to malady specific programs because inflammation seems to be at the root cause of MANY body issues!). So I've got 4 weeks under my belt now and at the end of next month I'll consider switching my session to NEUROPATHY and hope that the final pieces of my puzzle will be placed and this disease will be either eradicated or completely manageable until it IS GONE!

I signed up for the Charter Member program which gives me 20 sessions a month at a really reduced price of about $8/session verses nearly $90 for a SINGLE SESSION at a time with no membership.

Mary, the franchisee, was so incredibly helpful and kind and PATIENT on my first visit. I was a little nervous but MOSTLY EXCITED. I suffer from VERY RECENT neuropathy. If you never had neuropathy, you can't imagine the discomfort (actually PAIN) that it brings...BRIGHT REDISH PURPLE TOES and soles of the feet. PAIN BURNING and NUMBNESS. And if left unchecked it CAN lead to Amputations of toes and even feet!

So I'm addressing it and I did some research which showed that INFRA RED LIGHT THERAPY has been shown to relieve NEUROPATHY PAIN and even has in some cases caused nerve regeneration!

I'm all in and I'm going to go as often as I can and I will update this review to reflect my actual experience in terms if pain relief and HOPEFULLY some nerve regeneration and perhaps CURING in full of the neuropathy!

And Mary let me try out the MIND GYM. WHAT A TRIP that was! I'm unsure exactly of how it works or what the additional cost is to add that to my membership but I'll also update that when I have gone a few more times.

WHAT ELSE I REALLY LOVE ABOUT THIS LOCATION:
Besides the low per-session rate if you commit to the CHARTER MEMBERSHIP (it can be cancelled anytime with a 90 day notice): I can schedule all of my own appointments and I get access to the facility BEFORE AND AFTER hours and I was tutored on dowloading and setting up the mobile apps for doing that as well as the one that allows me to unlock the door for an after or before hours appointment.

I know how to cleans the bed of the device and how to select my program(s) and feel comfortable with doing that.

I also learned that I can use the devices that will massage the feet bottoms and the ones that can be adjusted to massage the bands on the inner thighs and the muscles on the outer thighs and glutes and can also be adjusted to massage the lower middle and in the case of a shorty like me (5'3") even the mid to upper back!

I'm just so sold on this and I'm keeping my hopes ALL THE WAY UP that yesterday is going to prove to be the start of a beautiful friendship with Mary and LIGHT LOUNGE BOULDER COLORADO!
