Very disappointing experience – poor communication and long delays

I placed an order for a Jeff Koons lamp on June 16, costing approximately €800. I was informed that the lamp would be shipped in august, but it is now October 12 and I still haven't received my order.

What makes this experience particularly frustrating is the lack of communication. For a purchase of this value, I would expect the company to proactively inform customers about delays and provide clear updates on the status of their orders.

Waiting almost four months for an €800 lamp is disappointing enough, but being left without proper updates makes the experience even worse.

I was really looking forward to receiving this lamp, but unfortunately, the customer service experience has been very disappointing so far. I sincerely hope the company takes communication with its customers more seriously.

I have sent multiple emails to your support team via your official website BUT NO REPLY after a generic statement that there is delay - refer to your system number 400054 IMAN.
That is why I am writing on other platforms to get some assistance. I JUST NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHEN IS DELIVERY as amount has been PAID and I need to decide if I should not get new GIFTS.

I am still waiting for my speaker Balloon dog and Grande dog … ordered in July and August and it was meant to be a gift back in Sept. Will someone from the lexon team reach out or response to query sent? That would be real helpful.

Jeg har købt den fineste ballonhund og da jeg troede den var gået i stykker fik jeg hurtig hjælp af kundeservice til hvad der var galt, så jeg kunne bruge lampen igen

Wir haben die Lexon Steli gekauft, weil uns das Design sehr gut gefallen hat. Leider ist das auch das Einzige, was uns an der Lampe überzeugt.

Die Bedienung ist für uns bis heute ein Rätsel. Teilweise haben wir minutenlang auf die Lampe getippt, um sie wieder auszuschalten. Bis dahin hatten wir sämtliche Farben durchgespielt und fühlten uns eher wie in einer schlechten Disco als im Schlafzimmer.

Zuletzt hat die Lampe dann endgültig beschlossen, ihr eigenes Programm zu machen: Sie wechselte selbstständig alle paar Sekunden die Farbe und blinkte ununterbrochen. Auch der Reset-Knopf konnte sie davon nicht beeindrucken. Uns blieb schließlich nichts anderes übrig, als die Disco auszusitzen und zu warten, bis der Akku leer war.

Ich habe mich zweimal an den Kundenservice gewandt. Am Ende sollte ich ein Video des Problems aufnehmen und schicken. Dafür fehlt mir ehrlich gesagt die Zeit. Bei einer Nachttischlampe für rund 100 Euro erwarte ich, dass sie zuverlässig funktioniert und sich intuitiv bedienen lässt und nicht, dass ich zunächst eine kleine Videodokumentation ihrer Fehlfunktionen produziere.

Optisch ist die Steli wirklich schön. Wer allerdings zusätzlich erwartet, dass eine Lampe unkompliziert Licht macht und sich anschließend wieder ausschalten lässt, könnte enttäuscht werden.

Wir werden unsere jetzt entsorgen und uns ein solides Modell kaufen, das weniger Designambitionen hat und dafür einfach Licht macht. Für rund 100 Euro hätten wir diese Kombination eigentlich auch der Steli zugetraut.

Très Satisfaite de mon achat Flip classique, j’en ai prit 2 et le gris avantage c’est qu’il existe une gamme sans fil, donc pas besoin de multiprise dans la chambre 🙂, de plus cela nous permets d’éteindre nos téléphone la nuit pour éviter au maximum les ondes 🤩

My eight year old daughter fell in love with the design of a Lexon alarm clock and saved 40 euros to purchase it. Two or so years later the alarm clock is dead and cannot be resuscitated. Customer service is only willing to offer an incentive to buy a new one, which we will not do.

TLDR: Recommended if you wish to rent an alarm clock for 20 euros/year. If that seems like a bad deal, look elsewhere for quality or at least cheaper junk.

Order was never shipped!

Order was placed back in April 2026.
It was listed shipping will begin in July when I purchased it. But as of today, it is still not shipped and they keep pushing back the shipping date.
They keep advertising this product and taking people’s money, yet they haven’t even put in the effort to actually produce and ship it to customers who pre-ordered it more than half a year ago.

Avoid buying unless you’re prepared to wait over half a year and still have no confirmed shipping date.

Need to sort out a better delivery partner. It’s not the recipient responsibility to make things work.
DPD is unreliable and not trustworthy. Again they said I wasn’t home when I actually stayed home the whole day. They missed their slot and I still waited. Then at 20.20 they just messaged saying they missed me and they will retry tomorrow. First I was home, second I also have a concierge with a a parcel room. So these lies are really unnecessary and reflect poorly on the brand using DPD.

In mei de Jeff Koons lamp besteld. Deze zou in juli geleverd worden. Ik heb diverse malen gemaild waar de lamp blijft, maar het enige antwoord wat ik krijg is dat ik een mail krijg wanneer de lamp klaar is voor verzending. Totaal geen communicatie van de kant van Lexon over vertraging. Inmiddels is het bijna oktober en nog steeds geen lamp. Wel blijven ze adverteren met de lamp, terwijl ze blijkbaar niet kunnen voldoen aan de vraag. Ik voel me zwaar belazerd en ik vraag me af of ik de lamp ooit nog ontvang. Ik laat het zeker niet zitten bij een klacht op Trustpilot.@Lexon, geef nu eindelijk eens aan wat de reden is van deze enorme vertragingen, want ik ben niet de enige. Neem jullie klanten serieus en stop met de verkoop als je de aanvragen niet aankan!

De reactie van Lexon geeft wederom aan dat er geen antwoord komt op de vraag waarom er niet geleverd wordt. Ik heb regelmatig de klanten service benaderd en ook daar geen enkel relevant antwoord op mijn vraag wanneer er nu eindelijk geleverd gaat worden.

I ordered my balloon dog in March 2026 and am still awaiting its delivery despite chasing it up multiple times.

The lack of transparency and communication is really poor.

I had a defaulted product being sent which happens to everyone and every business. After explaining to the customer service which was very quick to assist me, I got to have a new product being sent to replace the defaulted one. I call this an excellent service!

Zwei Tykho 3 innerhalb von weniger als zwei Jahren defekt
Einen Tykho 3 im Dezember 2024 als Weihnachtsgeschenk bekommen. Das erste Gerät war bereits beim Kauf defekt und wurde beim Händler ausgetauscht. Nun ist auch das Austauschgerät defekt: FM funktioniert nicht mehr, Bluetooth verbindet sich zwar, spielt aber keinen Ton ab, und beim Betätigen der Bluetooth-Taste klackert das Gerät deutlich.
Daraufhin habe ich mich direkt an Lexon gewandt und erklärt, dass es sich um ein Geschenk handelt und der Kaufbeleg nicht mehr vorhanden ist. Die Seriennummer habe ich ebenfalls mitgeteilt. Als Antwort erhielt ich eine offenbar standardisierte Aufforderung, einen Kaufbeleg, ein Video und die bereits übermittelte Seriennummer einzureichen. Auf meine konkrete Anfrage wurde nicht eingegangen.
Nach zwei defekten Geräten in weniger als zwei Jahren möchte ich keine weitere Zeit in die Reklamation investieren. Schönes Design, aber weder Produktqualität noch Kundenservice überzeugen mich. Ich werde das Gerät entsorgen und künftig keine Lexon-Produkte mehr kaufen.

We received the Lexon x Jeff Koons Balloon Dog Lamp as a wedding gift and are more than happy! The quality and packaging is amazing and the lighting is so clear! Would definitely recommend! Looking forward to add to the the collection!

I wish I had read the reviews beforehand, but this was a gift for my spouse. I would not have wasted time, energy, and money trying to get my balloon dog. Ordered my lamp July 12 and was told I’d have an August delivery. Ha!

It’s really shady business when there are zero comments on social media posts. Always a sign that they are deleting comments. But guess what they can’t delete? Reddit comments.

That’s where I really learned about what’s happening to me has and is still happening to many others.

I just want the product I paid for and to be done with this false advertising scam of a “company”.

Any five stars posted here, I have my doubts about those writers.

Very disappointing product and experience

I’m extremely disappointed with the Lexon Mini Flip Alarm Clock. I paid £40 in total, including £10 delivery, so I expected a well-made, reliable product. Unfortunately, it fell well short of expectations.

The delivery was very slow, and when the clock finally arrived, the display was not working correctly. I had no choice but to return it, which then cost me a further £12 in return postage.

So I ended up spending £22 on delivery and return postage for a faulty product that I couldn’t use.

For a product at this price point, the build quality and reliability were simply not good enough. In my opinion, the Lexon Mini Flip is significantly overpriced for what it is, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing.

I would not recommend this product and certainly would not buy it again.

I prodotti Lexon sono di qualità e con uno stile riconoscibile. Ho avuto un problema con una sveglia acquistata sul sito e me l'hanno sostituita in tempi brevi e con un'ottima assistenza post vendita.

Ordered a balloon dog in March 2026 that would start shipping in June 2026. Have been emailing them every month since June and every time they give me a window for shipping a month away. It’s now September and they just gave me another month’s wait. Asked for a refund and said they won’t give me one cause they are exclusive. Easily the worst customer experience I’ve had so far.

J'ai commandé une lampe qui a subi plusieurs retards successifs, et qui n'est toujours pas livrée. Le site ne veut pas procéder au remboursement de la commande, A FUIR !
