We appreciated being able to follow the process entirely online, and felt supported through each step of the purchasing process. We had some complications with our purchase due to construction delays, and the team (especially Tasnem) were always there to answer questions and push the vendor for updates. The online case management portal is handy to use and gives you good insight into your case’s progress and any outstanding items. Fees and schedules were very transparent and easy to plan for. We had a good experience overall and would recommend Beam to family and friends.

The online system is amazing with how we can track progress of the case, request updates and see activities as they take place. If you are lucky enough to have Claire as your case manager then you don’t have to worry. She is so responsive, transparent , positive and helpful. We are delighted to have gone with Beam and would not hesitate to recommend them or use again in future, thank you!!

We used Beam as our solicitor firm for our recent mortgage and house purchase. We were initally really impressed with the online platform. It was incredibly convenient to log in and check updates throughout the process, and having everything in one place made it feel streamlined and easy to manage. No waiting to catch a solicitor to see if they had recieved X, Y or Z.

A big positive for us was having Fadzai as our dedicated case manager — she was responsive, approachable, and always available by email or phone whenever we had questions or needed clarity.

However, we were a little disappointed during the closing stages. There was a lack of communication around choosing a drawdown date we weren’t made aware that we could have selected an earlier date, and it was difficult to get this changed once it was in motion with the bank. Then, once the drawdown happened, there were further delays with funds clearing, and just when we thought we were about to close, there was another request for a payment (that i had previously offered to speed things up), followed by more waiting.

These may seem like small issues, but they resulted in us losing valuable days in our new home. For a firm that’s so progressive and efficient, the final steps felt surprisingly clunky and let down what had otherwise been a smooth experience
