Enjoyable trip on the Dutch Bulb fields…
Enjoyable trip on the Dutch Bulb fields with Leger Holidays . Drivers Georgie and Zanti were fantastic . The hotel was excellent . Trips were fantastic especially the trip to Keukenhof , which I absolutely loved . This was my mums first time going away with Leger Holidays and from her experience on this trip it won’t be her last . Going on the Luxuria coach made a big difference giving lots of leg room .

I have no complaints with regards this company they are very good at what they doo and I cannot praise them enough for all the help and understanding that they gave me on holiday
D Day
A full, but well organised tour, covering all of the areas advertised. Coach transfers were efficient. The hotel breakfast provided lots of choice, and hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and provided lots of additional details to the various beaches and landing areas visited. We will certainly go on another Leger tour in future.
Too much coach travel
BULB FIELDS The hotel was much too far from the places we visited. Everyday was around a 2 hour coach ride to the place we were visiting. Then 2 hours back at the end of the day.
The half day trip to Delft and Le Hague was too rushed.
Kukenhoff Gardens was beautiful and well worth a visit.
Driver Mark and host Paul were pleasant and helpful. I think Leger should have provided more information about the places we were visiting e.g map showing drop off/ pick up.
An option of a Hull/Rotterdam crossing would be helpful. 18 hour journey home😡
D-Day Beach Experience Tour
I did the D-Day Beach Tour experience with Leger. The crew we had for our tour was fantastic. Ian was the tour guide and his knowledge of the events from D-Day were second to none and even through in a few extra stops to give us a better insight of what happened in 1944. The drivers, Blake and Trudy were also a great team, taking our large comfortable bus through some tricky Normandy lanes. A fantastic experience in France and to our drop-off point in Maidstone. Unfortunately our feeder coach to take us home back to Devon was a completely different experience and I will raise a complaint about this.
Dutch bulbfields & Delights of Amsterdam.
Very well organised and so well looked after by Bart and Kris. We were fortunate with glorious weather and the Keukenhof Gardens exceeded our high expectations. Enjoyed our visits to Amsterdam, The Hague, and Delft. Sadly only half days in these areas but at least we know that Delft is a place we would love to go back to. Our hotel, the Ibis Styles Rotterdam Ahoy was great and a good location for visiting other restaurants. Thank you for an amazing holiday.
Splendour of Paris
This was my wife Julie first time abroad and has to use wheelchair. The two drivers Dave and Mark were excellent in helping us when needed and made our trip seam very special. The whole organisation from being picked up to dropping us back home was also excellent. The Hotel was also good and very helpfull. The excursions and time spent in Paris during the day and night was brilliant. The other passengers where all lovely which was helped by Dave and Mark making everyone seam special.
Well done Ledger

WW1 battlefield tour trip April 2026
Excellent well organised trip all round
Could not fault it .The guide Andrew as an an excellent historian. He really made the trip for us . Lovely hotel, great staff ,
D-Day 5 day tour…
Really enjoyed our D-Day 5 day tour with the guide Ian Mason who was very knowledgeable, interesting to listen to, but didnt talk for too long or get over technical, which weve experienced in the past with Leger. He took us to lots of little places that our previous D-Day, last year didnt take us to. Blake the driver was very good, but never stopped working, poor lad, as he had an agency driver with him, so the onboard service wasn't up to your usual standard which was disappointing as weve had really good crews in the past, this wasn't Blakes fault by any means.
Hotel clean, Staff fine and helpful, breakfast good.
Might be worth considering Guides to plan lunch stops a bit earlier than 1.30 as a lot of places had either run out of food or closed for the afternoon.
And when wanting to eat in the evening in Falalise town be advised the restaurants are closed by 8pm
Due to various problems and potential delays with boarder control at Calais we had to leave the hotel extremely early in the morning to get the planned 1200 Ferry. On arrival at Stop24 we were then notified that our transfer coach to Crawley, West Sussex and the South Coast was going via Sevenoaks, Kent which added over 1 hour extra to our journey home. We were exhausted from the exceptional early start and really think this divert into Kent should have been avoided. Why couldn't a taxi be provided (as weve had in the past) for the Sevenoaks people and let the transfer coach get on the road to do the Sussex drop offs?
On the whole we enjoyed our D -Day Battlefields tour, Ian and Blake are a credit to your Company, but we felt let down by the poor on-board service and dreadfully long journey home.
We have another tour booked on 8th June this year to the Somme, hopefully our onboard tour experience and journey home will be better.
I had no idea what to expect
I had no idea what to expect. I have absolutely no complaints or negative comments about the trip from the moment we got picked up and transferred to the luxury coach and met our two drivers and our guide everything went on time I think one of the most important things on trip like this is the guide. Ian was our guide and he was magnificent. He brought the whole experience to life his knowledge without referring to any notes was unbelievable oh I’ve just remembered there is a negative he supported Aston Villa. I will be booking again next year and probably thereafter every year a trip in between other holidays it was magnificent thank you.

Mike is a fantastic tour leader.
Mike is a fantastic tour leader, efficient and caring and Leger is lucky to have him. We went to lovely places and were looked after by him and Neil very well.
But the food was prety poor, which is a shame on a French trip, mostly stews and indeterminate vegetables and offered fish only onceas a vegetarian alternative.
Seats 9 and 10 are the worst on the coach. I was eye ball to eyeball with someone I'd never met, no leg room and next to the toilet. Also, the screens block the view, vibrate all the time and can't be incapacitated. Very poor design. As a general point the seats can't be adjusted and are very uncomfortable for those of us with lower back problems.
We have returned from the Grand Tour of…
We have returned from the Grand Tour of France. Our drivers Mike and Steve were brilliant. They were very knowledgeable of the area and kept you updated with everything. On the very odd occasion they was a slight problem with the vegetarian option they sorted it out satisfactory without any fuss.
Journey times????
The tour itself visited the places I wanted to see. Keukenhof Gardens, Amsterdam, Delft, Den Haag. They were great. The drivers were good, as always and the hotel was excellent.
However, the hotel was in an isolated spot which meant no other places to eat an evening meal and also meant a 5 hour return journey on 2 days to get to Keukenhof and Amsterdam, we crawled through motorway traffic pretty much all the time in those journeys. Several of us found that unacceptable and exhausting.
Leger are a great company.
Great Company, excellent drivers who are very knowledgable about the places you visit. We stayed in a lovely hotel in Antwerp while visiting the Dutch bulb fields. The whole holiday was a delight.
Normandy landings and beyond.
First time doing the battlefields of Normandy and I have to say what a wonderful experience. The drivers Blake and Trudy were really good together with our guide Ian.
He was very knowledgeable and interesting telling the truths of the Normandy landings and beyond. I took my son with me who was also intrigued by the whole experience. A wonderful five days away.

D-Day Landings in Normandy - 5 Days
The tour itself was very good. Our guide, Ian Mason was brilliant and made the stories come to life with extra photographs & additional stops to explain things further. He was very knowledgable and took the time to understand why each person was on the trip. We’d definitely do another tour with him.
The hotel (Ibis Falaise Coeur de Normandie) was clean and comfortable & the staff were friendly & welcoming. The restaurant menu was limited but suited our needs.
The Luxuria coach was very comfortable and spacious and the drivers Blake & Trudy were great. Their driving was smooth and they were attentive & professional whilst also being friendly.
The negative to the whole trip is the feeder coach system.
We were in the last group to get on our feeder coach, which was then full & we couldn’t sit together. The driver was great and we had one stop on the way to the interchange, but the coach was cramped and therefore very uncomfortable.
We were told that there would be an announcement when the coaches were loading at the interchange, but weren’t told that you need to be by the desk to hear it, so we were unaware the coach was loading early as we were sitting at the other end of the building due to the other area being full.
The return feeder coach was actually even more uncomfortable (very narrow seats) and the onboard toilet was full & smelling, having just returned from a 5 day trip.
Both feeder coaches did get us to the right place at the right time, but when you’re choosing the Luxuria coach for the tour in order to have the space, the feeder coaches ruin it, especially on the way home. I realise it’s about numbers & some people were travelling home on Luxuria, but I’d prefer the option of the coach I picked being used for the whole journey. This is what will stop me from booking another tour & the reason I can’t give 5 stars to what would otherwise be a 5 star trip.
We did the D Day landings and our tour…
We did the D Day landings and our tour guide Ben was amazing the knowledge how he delivered it to you was on another level, the drivers were amazing, may of been early morning but the whole experience was out of this world
Fantastic Guide on All Quiet on The Western Front Tour - the rest a bit meh.
First timers with Leger although many others were repeat customers. Pros - guide Andrew was great, so knowledgeable about WW1, good humoured, flexible, responsive - couldn't have had better and as this is the heart of the tour then this was the reason we would consider going Leger again.
Cons - hotel location was on industrial estate in the middle of nowhere and spent 3 hours each day travelling to/from sites - not on. Rooms and staff were great but food offer distinctively average. Went Executive coach - so get this is the cheapest but wouldn't do again - too cramped, intermittent aircon only. Booking process very easy and able to speak directly to office staff - also great that once you are on your feeder coach Leger totally look after your luggage - no hauling it around yourself which is great. However - our pick up time was 1.55am!! which we were not told or even warned about until c 2 weeks before departure. Had we know we would have travelled much closer to the central hub ourselves. Arrived shattered and tired throughout the first day. So a mixed bag. Would consider Leger again but higher coach class and would probe on transfer times.
Tiring but absolutely worth it.
The feeder service ran smoothly. Very well organised and efficient. Our guide Ian who is so passionate about D day made the tour interesting taking us to none itinerary sights. Driver Blake very respectful, friendly and excellent at his job. The hotel basic but clean served its purpose. My only niggle was the hotel being a bit far out.
