Do Better LegalZoom. Learn About Customer Service
LegalZoom lacks customer service. I had them as a registered agent, which was a service that was way overpriced to begin with. Automated compliance messages here and there isn't worth the price I paid for my business. Fast forward, I tried to cancel it before the automatic renewal and missed it within a day or two and they wouldn't refund my money. Even as a loyal customer who was planning on using some of their services for other joint ventures and recommending them to other VCs, they wouldn't do anything to help me. So in an effort to make less than $1K, they are losing $20K+. Do better LegalZoom. Customer service goes a long way.

Web page issue resolved through Chat customer service
The LZ website experience for this specific task (Annual Report review) was inconsistent - I was trying to update some simple information within the report, however the page got stuck so I ended up talking to a staff member on the chat (very convenient). They were able to direct me to the same information on a new page, that required me to re-enter all the information again (it was a lot of quick auto-fill so not a big deal). The interaction with the chat staff member was very professional, helpful, quick and productive so the end result was problem solved. Improvements in the workflow from the initial click on the Annual Report on my account/compliance home page would be recommended to avoid the need for a Customer Service reps involvement.
