Very fair customer service – even if you make a mistake yourself
I read the highly critical reviews here (including warnings about alleged cancellation traps) and would like to share my completely opposite experience.
First, regarding the service itself: I actually really like the concept of Layla AI. However, I travel a lot and usually stick to a very strict low budget. The offers shown were simply a bit too expensive for my personal travel style, which is why the service didn't quite fit my needs.
Unfortunately, I made a mistake and missed the deadline to cancel before the trial ended, as I was absolutely certain I had already done so. Consequently, I was charged the regular fee. Contrary to what is claimed in other reviews, I absolutely did not have to "fight" with customer service.
I contacted support and honestly explained my situation. I received an extremely fast and friendly reply from Deisy on the support team. Even though the mistake was clearly on my end and their terms were transparent, they were incredibly accommodating and we quickly reached a very fair and amicable resolution.
My conclusion: The product didn't quite fit my strict budget, but the customer service is outstanding, human, and absolutely fair. If you communicate normally and politely with the team, you will get competent help. In my experience, there is absolutely no such thing as a "trap" here.

Really enjoyed using Layla.ai. It makes planning trips way easier and faster than doing everything manually. I liked how it gave personalized suggestions pretty quickly it actually felt relevant, not random.
The interface is clean and simple, so you don’t get lost while using it. Also nice that you can tweak things easily without starting over.
Overall, a solid tool if you want to plan a trip without the usual hassle. Would definitely use it again 👍

Just planned a 2 week Tanzania Safari trip with Layla
Never new that AI can actually plan a trip that's bookable.. I used to use GPT for overview plans but Layla AI really gave me the A-Z of my Tanzania Safari trip, flights hotels activities and it's super personalised.
I have just booked a family vacation of 4 and the beauty of it is there are real human agents to finalize the plan.

Failed to plan a three day trip with five stops.
I attempted to create a three-day trip. After 90 minutes, I was never able to get Layla to generate a usable final trip plan. I used Google Maps to plan the route and select hotels and restaurants and was finished in fifteen minutes. The company did provide a full credit.

It doesn’t work, been trying to use it for hours. Please save your time and money, worst investment I did for my travel. Useless tool, even when you give explicit instructions, it does nothing but show show you a pretty video with instagram pictures

They have free trial, I thought I'll give it a try. They want credit card info and will not charge until trial ended which in my case March 1, 2026. I compared them with gemini and chatgpt, I don't see benefit from them. I canceled on Feb 28 and I see there is pending charges from them on Feb 28! I contacted them, they refuse to refund, they said, I cancel after trial end! They have the audacity to lie! And they said i downloaded a pdf which I didn't because I have to pay more if I do, I asked a text based instead. I gave them the proof, and now they said they will refund only 50% because I cancel after trial end and the charge was after trial end. They lied again! because the charge was on Feb 28! It shows in my credit card transaction !
Update: i filled dispute on my credit card. And they refunded after this was posted.

Had no idea where to start with planning our destination wedding in Bulgaria so a friend suggested I try Layla and honestly it was a lifesaver. It helped us narrow down hotels, figure out the best restaurants to go to with guests and cool activities which as a couple planning from abroad was just so so helpful.
The Al got a few things slightly off and we had to tweak some stuff but overall it saved us weeks of planning easily. and somehow I also felt it help to not discuss so much, because we always had so many options to choose from right at hand.

I’ve tried a lot of travel planning tools and Layla AI surprised me in the best kind of way.
It doesn’t feel like ChatGPT and it’s not overwhelming. It feels like chatting with a super organized friend who somehow already knows the cool spots, hidden gems, and the practical stuff you’d forget to check. I love how easy it is to explore ideas, adjust plans, and go down little travel rabbit holes without opening a gazillion tabs.
It’s super fast, intuitive, and actually fun to use. Makes planning not feel like admin but more like adventure.
