Purchased pre-order shoes from them for…

Purchased pre-order shoes from them for a teenager in early September. The same shoes went on sale at the end of September at $75 off, and the ones I ordered still hadn't been shipped so I asked them to credit me the sale price. The customer service e-mail rep Abby just kept giving me the run-around and then said they had already shipped and giving me the $75 off was impossible because now the sale wasn't on anymore. I said well the sale was on when I contacted you. All of her e-mail responses don't respond to my questions or requests. I am still waiting to hear back to get instructions for returning them as I would never want to do business with a company this shady. Next, if they don't respond or try to get around giving me my money back, I will just have AMEX take care of these hustlers. Very poor business practices- especially for a small company and not very popular designer who wishes to succeed.

Don’t buy from this company because…

Don’t buy from this company because they are lairs .
I intital order in Aug 17 and I received the shoes even my normal size didn’t fit so I return and order in Sep 6 and supposed to take 3-4 weeks today they told me will be Oct 30 - this is the worse experience that I had lately.
I will file a complained with the customer protection agency company to investigate this company .
Worse customer service and satisfaction.
Do not buy from them!

Poor quality shoe; better off at Target

Purchased a pair of kitten heel sandals from United Apparel Liquidators (UAL). They had never been worn, were display shoes. They still had plastic and stickers on the bottom and no signs of wear. I wore them one night for approx 4 hours and the bottom of the shoes are shredded with the underside leather completely gone. Even while wearing them you can see the outline of the underside material is shredded and frayed. Disappointed by the poor quality. Something from Target would have held up better.

Many of our styles come with a protective plastic film on the sole to prevent damage to the natural leather before wear. It’s important to peel this off before your first use, as wearing the shoes with the film still on can unfortunately cause the sole to shred or fray. In those cases, we can’t take responsibility for the damage.

Beautiful Shoes, slooooowwwww shipping!

Ordered the Stella Mule on 7/20/25, shoes arrived 9/15/25. Whew - that's just too long! When completing my 'Pre-Order' the site indicated that shipping may take '2-3 weeks'. Yeah, maybe in shoe dreamland. Happily, so many more plusses: The slides are just as pictured and look amazing. Fit is TTS and no break-in time is required. Leather is soft and the innersole cradles my foot. Even the packaging is well done with a bit of SWAG (extra laces, hair clip, shoe bag). Customer Service was responsive (usually with 24 hours) albeit elusive on the reason for the delay.

I have left multiple emails at the email address indicated on the website with NO RESPONSE. I also left a message on a very suspiciously unprofessional message system with NO RESPONSE. In bold, right at the top, it states: “To speak to a live agent, please reply to this message.” This step is required to open a ticket with our customer care team. In your case, although we did not receive replies that would open a ticket, our team still noticed your concern and responded to your first email (sent on a Saturday afternoon) by Sunday morning. You then emailed again on Monday afternoon, and we responded on Tuesday afternoon. You emailed again that same Tuesday, and our team replied within 10 minutes. Based on this, it seems our responses may not be reaching your inbox.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST. Their shoes are incredibly overpriced, and the quality is horrible, absolutely TERRIBLE. The shoes don't fit even though I bought the correct size, and they are made of cheap materials. The return process was a mess, and their customer service was not helpful at all, and gave all the wrong directions.

Dishonest company

After filling out the credit card info, I changed my mind and didn't press "place my order". But the order miraculously still went thru.
I immediately contacted the customer service with request to cancel my order, but they said it was already shipped (which is impossible!)
I received and immediately returned all merch and got the confirmation that the refund will be issued within the next 3-5 days.
Waited for at least a week and still no refund.
Opened a dispute with my credit card and my credit card decided I have to pay!!!
Sent them the emails to prove that the refund was due, still waiting for a decision.
Very dishonest practices!

Your order was placed in the morning, and you reached out to us a few hours later asking to cancel it. As stated in our store policy, in-stock orders are processed within 3 minutes — once processing begins, the picking and packing process starts right away, and unfortunately we are unable to cancel at that stage.
Your order contained three items, one of which had a shipping estimate of 2–3 weeks (meaning it was not in stock at the time of purchase). We processed the refund for the pre-order item that had not shipped, and also sent you the instructions to return the other two items.
When the return was received, our system was not able to process the refund automatically, as the request was submitted for the full order amount (including the item that had already been refunded separately). This caused a mismatch in values. In situations like this, had you reached out directly, we would have gladly adjusted the refund manually for you.
However, since a chargeback was initiated with your card provider, we were unable to issue a refund from our side — at that point, the funds are held by your payment provider, and it becomes their responsibility to process and return the amount to you.
We want to assure you that our practices are transparent and in line with consumer law. Our priority is always to resolve these situations fairly, and we remain available to provide your bank with any documentation needed to complete their review.

If there were zero stars option I would post that and not even give them one star .. my order never came and for two months they told me to keep waiting that it would come and I should just keep waiting .. it never did come but they kept refusing to refund me so I called the bank and disputed the charge .. only then did they miraculously agree to refund me what a terrible experience

I would NOT order from here again

First pair came on time and was good. Second pair said it would arrive mid July (ordered in June). By August I emailed customer service, which didn't give a satisfactory response, but finally, they did say they'd ship on or before Aug 22. I emailed customer service on Aug 23. No response. Finally I got notification it's arriving early September, far too late for what I ordered the shoes for (an event - for a specific outfit). This company does not care about customer experience. I would NOT order again. Too many cute shoes out there at this price point with more transparent practices and better customer service

Impossible to use store credit/gift card

I originally purchased and returned a pair of shoes in July 2024. I loved the shoes but the sizing was wrong. I received a store credit (as I wasn't allowed a refund). For the past year, it has been impossible to successfully use this gift card. First, it was difficult to track down the giftcard. Then, many items are final sale and I was worried about choosing the incorrect size again, as the sizing varies across styles, so it was hard to choose anything. Next, the website wouldn't allow me to use the giftcard, even for eligible items. But it's impossible to reach them by phone to have them help you order the item using the giftcard in realtime. So after back and forth on email, they told me to go ahead and order the item and then they would refund me the amount from my giftcard. So I ordered the item and immediately (within minutes of order confirmation), emailed them all the details so they could refund me. They NEVER responded to that email. Only 9 days later when I followed up did Larroude respond and say "Sorry, your giftcard can't be applied now that your order has been fulfilled." And they have committed to that response, even though it was their website that made me unable to use the giftcard, and then there own lack of response to my initial e-mail that made me miss the "window" after I had placed my order but before it had been fulfilled. This "window" for refund had never been communicated to me in the first place either. So all of this points to suspicious business practices that make it impossible to use store credit for items.

Zero Communication

I ordered some boots from Larroude earlier this summer. When I received them, I discovered that they did not fit so I returned them. My return was assigned a tracking number. When I access the tracking number I am shown that the boots were received on July 14th, over a month ago. I have yet to receive a refund. Whenever I call the customer service number I fail to get anyone. I have sent numerous emails to the email provided and have never gotten any response. I have done a lot of online shopping and this is the worst experience I have ever had with trying to get refunded for a return. The shoes that this company sells are beautiful, but I do not plan on ordering from them ever again.

Very disappointed with the service of this company, first time purchase received 2 different sized shoes, they are not even close, a size 9 and size 11. Emailed them as soon as they arrived, with photos of the mismatched shoes and have not had a response back from them in over 2 weeks.

Looks like they take your money and don't care after that.

Poor communication and terrible shipping times

I pre ordered a pair of shoes on May 15 2025 and the website stated that shipping would start in mid June. July 4th I still hadn’t received the shoes so I reached out and was told my shoes had shipped but I never got the tracking number. I reached out again July 15 and finally got a tracking number.

The shoes finally arrived on July 28th and they didn’t fit (after I followed their recommended sizing guidelines) so I had to exchange and I sent them back right away on July 30th. I reached out today on August 12 to ask when they will be shipped because the website stated 2 weeks and I was told they won’t ship until early September. Yet if you go on their website and you look at the exact shoes I ordered it says “ships out in a week”.

Don’t order from this company unless you want to wait 4+ months to get your issue resolved. I needed these shoes for an upcoming event. Their website shipping times are not correct and they should be informing customers instead of tricking you into buying.

They offered me 50% off a new pair of shoes but I already ordered another pair of shoes from a different company and will likely be returning both pairs from Larroude or I may just cancel my order unless they are able to resolve my problem.

My return got sent back due to undeliverable and no forwarding address

I received my order after several weeks and the minute I opened the box, a toxic smell came out. I imagine it was some sort of dye because they were navy suede. I immediately applied for a return and sent back right away. A few weeks later, the shoes came back because they were undeliverable with no forwarding address. I even had to pay $10.70 for the post office to give me the return. I went back to the post office with the same label because I tried to contact customer service, but the queue must be so long that they replied if you send another message you go back to the bottom of the list. These are $200.00 shoes! I expect excellent customer service! I ordered a second pair at the same time as the first, and they have yet to arrive. I wanted to cancel the order because they are the same blue suede. They are out for delivery according to my email. Just so frustrated.

Disappointing

This was my first order at Larroude'. I purchased a pair of Ricky boots in blue suede and when I opened the box I've seen two long scratches on the left boot and something that seems to be a spot or stain on the top of the right boot. Really? Why I was sent a damaged item that I can't return? Is this the quality you are praising on TV? I'm really pissed, especially because the scratches you can see well on the blue suede. I contacted the customer service and got an automated reply saying that they will get back to me. I hope so. So much advertisement for this brand, maybe they should better take care of their customers. I have several Larroude shoes purchased at Marshall's and half of them I had to return because extremely uncomfortable. Now I hope they have a solution for this, since the item is out of stock I want to be able to return it for a refund. They got back to me saying I can exchange but the shoe is out of stock and I can't exchange. Am I supposed to keep it as it is? At least they should offer a discount, a serious company does this. According to them the issue is solved by offering exchange for a product that is sold out or any other style that would cost me additional money? No thanks,I will keep my boots as they are and the next time I'll check .Marshalls or TJmaxx, they don't have all the styles but you can get great deals on Larroude shoes and if there is an issue they know how to address it.

Nothing good about these shoes

Nothing good about them. Shoes looked cheap and felt even worse. Put more money into your products instead of scamming people with beautiful social media and marketing photos.

Looks like counterfeit quality

Took forever. Worst part was the quality of the sandal was terrible. It truly looked like and felt like a counterfeit! Please beware when ordering online.
BTW… this is the first negative review I have ever taken the time to write.

No response from support

I purchased a pair of shoes and I am just trying to get an order number to exchange the shoes as they are too small, which isn't on any of my e-mails and support is completely unresponsive. I got one e-mail back with basic FAQ's which I had already exhausted prior to sending the email. I have called no response and no way to wait on hold. Very frustrated with the level of support after spending so much money on a pair of shoes.

I am looking for my order number to be able to make a return - the e-mail was jennifer.casey @cox.net Any help you could provide would be wonderful. Thank you!
