Amazing laptop for an amazing prize. Star labs does better laptops in the sense that I could install nearly all Linux variants on them without problems but the TongFang GX4 struggles. (Debian can't find the wifi driver!). But you get good build quality and fast delivery.

Hoewel de levering een dag later werd dan aangekondigd bij de bestelling is de totale levertijd net binnen een week gebleven.
Ik heb gevraagd om geen OS te installeren en dat is dus ook niet gebeurd. Op het moment dat ik zelf een OS installeerde bleek dat de ethernet controller niet herkend werd, na een mailtje naar latop with linux kreeg binnen een paar uur een likn naar hun web site waar ik de driver kon vinden.
Misschien een tip om het papier waarop een password wordt vermeld (dat niet nodig was in mijn geval), voor klanten die net als ik ook geen OS kiezen, alvast te melden dat ze hoogstwaarschijnlijk de driver voor de ethernet controller nodig hebben.

I had a great experience with my purchase, I ended up returning my laptop due to personal preferences but the team at LWL where very responsive and eager to help me. I really loved the fact that you can configure your computer however you like, there isn’t other provider out there (that I know off) that does this for Linux. If you want to use Linux and want a computer that is ready to go without little to no set up, this is the place. I’m sure I’ll come back once I make up my mind on what I want and need exactly.

Het geleverde apparaat overtreft de verwachtingen die ik had op basis van de informatie op hun site. Bovendien werd het snel en degelijk geleverd. Dat alles voor een zeer concurerende prijs. Beter dan welke eerdere ervaring ik ook had met linuxcomputers van andere bedrijven.
Het enige dat opviel is dat de info over de te gebruiken namen die je bij bestelling opgeeft, niet gebruikt is.

I was looking for a customisable laptop that came with Ubuntu Linux already installed. The process of customising and ordering from LaptopwithLinux was clear and straightforward, and the computer was delivered promptly. Import from the Netherlands to the UK was completely free of problems for me - LaptopwithLinux evidently take care of customs duty very efficiently. The laptop was very well packaged, while minimising the amount of plastic used for this purpose. The cloth carrying case was an unexpected bonus. So far, I've used the laptop without any problems, so I have not needed to try customer support. I am happy with this purchase.

Ons huishouden heeft hier inmiddels in totaal 4 laptops gekocht, we zijn er erg tevreden over. Mijn nieuwste laptop had wat gedoe met de touchpad, ik ben hier uitgebreid en geduldig mee geholpen, bleek een softwareprobleem. Enige nadeel is dat bezorgd wordt door DHL, en die bellen niet aan, dus kon laptop in dorp verderop ophalen.

Excellent, delivery was sharp and very fast, packaging was great. The laptop I am so pleased with it and with Linux on it at long last I have really missed using Linux. I can now give the MS one to my girlfriends brother, he needs it for school and I can pass it on. So bye bye MS at last.

I only bought it for some programs I needed for studies and my old Linux machine bit the dust and just about everything was giving up on it!

I cannot fault the LaptopWithLinux you have provided, She runs fast and smooth, I am not sure if TUX is female or not, but I call her She. I love the backlit keyboard not glaring and in your face. You have done an exceptional job and the 17inch screen makes all the difference, it is solidly built and it will last for a number of good years.

I have the TUX sticker in pride of placeon the Laptop! There other Distro's out their I will try out eventually, but I am very Happy as it is at the moment! It will be having a lot of use over the next few years. When the time comes I will definitely use you all again.
