As good as new! Thank you for your spare parts service.

I had broken one drawer front on my freezer. I purchased a new one from you. It arrived well packaged and fitted perfectly and easily. My fridge- freezer now looks as good as new. Thank you.
It took quite a while for the drawer front to arrive. If its possible to improve this it would make your service even better.

Wrong part sent

i ordered a small part for my integrated dishwaasher, putting int he details of the model number etc. We were unable to fit this so called in an engineer who charged £87.78 and he confirmed this was not the part needed. In fact a screw had come lose on the door stopping the door from closing properly and so not able to be turned on. You charged £6.95 postage for this iem, at most it should have cost £3.00. The part cost £11+ so almost £20.00 for a part which is no good. I have emailed the company about this but have received no response.

Reliable

The only comment I would make is that delivery was a little slow. Product was as expected.

Very expensive part

Good communication and the part did the job, but very expensive with extortionate delivery/postage costs. Almost £40 for a function selector switch when you can buy the complete oven brand new for around £140 is over the top.

The technician was 5 star. Very quick and efficient and was accurate when predicting arrival time on the day.

I can’t give 5 stars as lamona themselves made me jump through many hoops in order to take advantage of my warranty.

I bought a house with the appliances included in the sale of the property and we’re bought by the previous owner. I was able to register for the extended warranty without knowing the invoice numbers. But when it came to getting an engineer out, I needed to find out from howdens where they had been purchased so that I could phone the branch and get the invoice numbers. It was starting to feel like they didn’t want me to claim my right to repairs under warranty. Thankfully the engineer was so good I am now in possession of a working washing machine again.

Poor Service and communication

Only one item out of 4 received. No indication it would be a part order and rest of items would be delayed until I chased them. Communications are poor.

Why do Howdens lie about who makes them?
Why do Howdens head office want nothing to do with their own brand?
Why don’t Lamona want to help with their own brand, when they fail or need a part?
Why do Lamona spares make it so difficult to communicate with them?
Why do builders love it, because they love rolling poo in glitter (that a question I can answer)
Without a warranty you are screwed.
They’re a fitters nightmare.
A costumers frustration.
Using Lamona comes with a tag… cheap and unusable.

Call out for engineer sorted easily. He (Paul) came on time with a phone call first to say he was on the way. Dealt with the issue promptly and courteously.

Far more of a drawn out saga than it needed to be

When we tried to first report the fault I was past to 3 different agents and had to keep repeating the same information including the original invoice number and that the outer casing of the machine had an outwards dent where the drum had tried to smash its way out, was told the following monday by the first agent then told the following Wednesday by the 3rd agent for an engineer. Got a message at 8pm the night before to say engineer would arrive between 3pm-6pm, waited till 6.10pm, tried to call the engineer with no response, locked up and left the property, tried the engineer again with no answer then got a text to say I should text him rather than call, text to say we had left as he hadnt turned up so when should be expect someone to come out, no reply. tried calling again, he answered and said he was still coming and was 11 mins away, had to then chase the tenant to return and let us back in so the engineer could inspect the machine. After 45 minutes of the engineer looking at the machine and him saying they could fix it I had to ask how they would be fixing the outward protruding dent to make the machine fit back into the space provided, He agreed it would need to be replaced but couldnt make any promises.
It took a further 9 days of chasing to find out what was going on to actually be able to collect the replacement machine and fit it ourselves and that was only because we got the retailer to chase it from their end and start ordering a replacement before they had received the paperwork which they would usually wait for. Only gave 2 stars cause we did eventually get the replacement
