Inadequate shipping container.
You packed this delicate aluminum filter in a cardboard box with no support. Sure enough, it got damaged during shipping and the filter had a bend in it. I was able to straighten it and make it work, but if I would have shipped that item, I would have put it in a sturdier container.

Hello Michael, I am sorry your shipment was damaged. We ship hundreds of these filters with the exact box and packing material. VERY few are damaged. UPS is known for mishandling packages, and this is one of those cases. We aim to keep shipping costs as low as possible, and this product was reasonably packaged. Clean, fresh air
My HVAC man found the LakeAir website and recommended their product. After reading about the air purifier, we knew it was the item needed to clean the air in our home.

I purchased replacement filters
I purchased replacement filters. But the packaging was not appropriately done. All filter casings without an exception were damaged! Please wrap/cushion these filters in the future. Thank you.

Delivered 17 days later. Inquiries to online chat are answered by someone one the road EVERYTIME. No email replies where shipment was. Asked for faster shipping due to their “dropping of the ball” but was told we can’t do that but we can give you another filter to try to make amends. Hollow. Never done. The excuse machine followed with ridiculous reasons why this wasn’t processed.

Hello Erin, I am sorry for the delay in shipping your replacement filters. We had a bug hit our shop. We had several people out sick for an extended period. We like to hire retired Veterans, and sometimes the older folks need a couple of extra days to recover. Our staff is back to full force and your order will ship tomorrow.
I waited for 11 days after my $2400…
I waited for 11 days after my $2400 purchase and received not one follow up email, text, or call regarding delivery, or my unit. I called Lake Air and spoke with the owner Randy, after 11 days, and all he said was calm down. No apology, nothing.

I asked who is this "so I could look up your order" You gave your name, and I said please let me look up that information. You continued to speak brusquely. I ask you to please relax while I looked up you information. You promptly asked to cancel the order which we did. I feel horrible that our interaction went badly. Around the holidays shipping can go slower . Your unit was on its way to you, but you didn't give me a chance to check on it. I hope the rest of the holidays will go better for you. If you would like to see about receiving a unit with a extra discount for your trouble, please contact us. I do apologize. I wish you had given me a chance to make things right.

Tried to revise order. It charged $42 for shipping. Unable to revise or cancel. I now paid $100 for one filter.

Hello Paula, You have been a long time customer and I thank you for that. I have looked closely into this transaction. You made the original purchase at 4:12 AM on November 26. You had 3 choices for shipping and probably selected the most expensive by accident. Twenty minutes later at 4:32 AM you filed a claim with PayPal. Once a claim is filed the transaction is frozen. Once the transaction is frozen there isn't much I can do. I figured you would call later that day and we would redo the transaction. I am happy to resolve this in any way you would like. Give me a call tomorrow and we will get you all set up.
