I posted a review last week when my skip wasn’t delivered as requested. The following morning I was contacted by the manager. The skip was delivered and the manager was very helpful and apologetic.
I will use this company again

Second update:
I had the excellent John and Dillon in today to help. After a shaky start to to process in October, these two gents blitzed pleasantly and efficiently through the work. I really appreciated their help. At this point, yes would recommend. Once I crack into the attic of the old house I bought I may need them back again.

Update on this review;
I was promised a call this morning to see if this can be resolved. Call came promptly as promised and was offered €100 off service. Hope to be booked in , team to confirm.

Really bad service ! I was booked in for 16th October. I rang the day before and they said I was booked in for the 30th. I rang on the 29th and was assured I was booked in, drove 2 hours to my new house , rang again to confirm time to be told I was booked in for 11th November. This was a day I had to book off work and has turned into a waste of time for me. I’ve requested a refund.

I’m very disappointed because I really needed your help.

Ordered a collection on Monday. They confirmed collection on Tuesday. We were advised we would get a text in the morning and then a call 45 minutes before the collection team arrived. No monring text, but, received a phone call 30 minutes prior. Very efficient, and quick to remove a 3 piece corner sofa. Also, reasonable price at €130. Very pleased - would recommend and use again myself. Thanks!

I recently cleared out my Family home as you can imagine there was ears and years of memorabilia and stuff collected. I would highly recommend Kollect, I booked them several times over last few months. I found Liam, Dylan and lads brilliant pleasant and so so helpful, kind and compassionate, they went above and beyond to be so helpful. I found booking with Kollect no problem at all, Valerie was the most pleasant, helpful lady to deal with, there never was a problem booking, always a prompt reply. I even was able to book from overseas, which was so so helpful. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they are brilliant.

Good price. Great customer service. On time.

After the below Tara from Kollect got in touch late Friday evening and has gone above & beyond, organised an appropriate skip and adjusted the delivery date after a late change on my end - very impressed with the manner at which this complaint was handled & resolved - it’s been very much appreciated.

Really poor experience all round - initially had a call after filling out a form on the website from a Dublin number, from someone with a American or Canadian accent, then they shared their details with me over WhatsApp and it was a Filipino number a which raised my suspicions further. After a week or so I decided to go ahead with the quote which the sales rep was more than happy to get in touch asap, €240 paid for in full, due to be delivered on Thursday, never arrived & no communication from anyone after I arranged to work from home, I messaged who had processed my order and got ignored.. Friday, same thing, messaged, then got a call saying “oh did they not deliver it, I’ll escalate this to the team”, heard nothing back for 3 hours after I had text’d twice more to check in as I needed the skip for the weekend as I had already paid a deposit for removal services on Saturday, then get a reply saying “I’ve been very busy, on back to back calls, now I’m off, please call the office” - abysmal service - rang the office to which I spoke to a pleasant girl however she was aware of the missed delivery so I’m a bit confused as to why I didn’t receive any proactive updates, I was offered a full refund & a future better price but it’s little too late, I’m already down €100 - will not be using this service in the future after this experience. Advice would be it’s little more than common courtesy to update your customers, quite a basic expectation and if that’s not possible your bar is pretty low.

I live in Wexford, and this wasn't my first time using this company. I previously had a skip which was dropped off and collected very efficiently. This time however, I opted for the 'truck'. The staff in the office, Aoife and Jordan, were incredibly helpful and informative and I was able to ring anytime for advice. I had a huge amount of rubbish to clear, so I knew I needed the truck. The truck arrived on time, and both Tommy and Sean jumped out like two Marines and worked with incredible speed. Very friendly guys who worked like two Trojans! Nothing was too much for them and they went out of their way to help. The truck was filled to the brim. All done and dusted in FORTY MINUTES!! From beginning to end, this was a very smooth run, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Delighted!!

Very Bad Customer service! I originally ordered a large skip for delivery on Friday 1st of August, (Payment upfront of course) not only was it not delivered, nobody bothered to call or message me to give me a reason why. I contacted Customer service the following Tuesday, to be told that they didn't know why it wasn't delivered, and assured me that it would be delivered promptly that day, which was totally unsuitable as nobody would be on site to fill the skip. I postponed delivery until Today, Thursday 28th August, got booking confirmation message this morning saying delivery might take til 8pm! Tried ringing Customer service earlier, no reply, eventually got hold of someone in a call centre who said they could see that the skip was due to be delivered, but didn't know why it hadn't. I will be contacting Customer service tomorrow to demand a refund, I'm considering taking a small claims case against them for damages caused by breach of contract, trying to move house is stressful enough without companies letting you down.

They did the job quickly. No fuzz, in minutes our suits and mattress were gone. Well done!

I found the whole process very easy and supportive. Very happy with communication and efficient service. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They removed my junk quickly without any fuss.

We had 3 sheds and a derelict house to empty that had been used to store stuff for decades. The guys from Kollect did an excellent job. They were really hard working and left the place looking great. In total 6 full truck loads were removed over 3 days. A fantastic job. Highly recommend Kollect for rubbish removal.

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS - I rang to find out price of skip. They bombarded me with messages and phonecalls "confirming" my order. I did not order anything. Do not even ring them! Super UNETHICAL practices.

I looked for a quote for a 6 yard skip after a house clear out. Got a phone call from them shortly after and I explained that I had approx. 40 bin bags (not all full to capacity) plus old goal post, coffee table etc. Have hired skips before (not from this company) so I knew what I needed. Sales guy on phone pushed me to go with what he called 'the man with the van' instead. It worked out more expensive than the skip I wanted but he told me that it would also take electrical items which I had known wouldn't be possible with the skip. The electrical items were not a deal breaker for me as I had planned to bring them elsewhere but I thought it would be worth the extra money to include them and get rid of all in one go. I asked clearly and repeatedly if the van would take the same amount as the skip - he said if I ordered the 'quarter van' it would be the same. He said it was a big lorry and would 'compact my materials'. Went ahead with it on his assurance and on the day a regular looking furniture van shows up. Straight away the 2 guys tell me that there's no way they could take all of my rubbish. I am left with approx. 15 bin bags still to get rid of. They were nice guys and it wasn't their fault but they 100% agreed that if I had ordered the skip it would have held all of the rubbish. One of them expressed frustration that the staff on the phone are not explaining the difference between the van and skip to customers. I'm out €380 (again, dearer than the skip would have been) and still have 15 bin bags to dispose of. Not to mention my own labour of spending days sorting my rubbish into bin bags to make it easier for the guys to put it in the van and had it all arranged on my front drive for them. I wouldn't have had to do any of that if I got the skip - I could have just thrown all in as I went along. I don't recommend this company, I think they are deliberately dishonest in promoting the more expensive van option over the skip option.

Great service. Book the collection for the waste in the backyard. The guys came and picked up all the waste at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
