DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! After giving the loaves another look (and a hopeful tap), it’s clear that apart from one loaf, the rest are completely inedible. They are rock hard — genuinely like stones. I could barely cut into them, let alone eat them. I’ve had gluten-free bread for years, and I understand it can be a little denser than usual, but this? This was something else entirely. It’s not just disappointing — it’s outrageous.

I’ve now thrown the entire batch away. There was no salvaging it.

Rubbish bread. Tried the sourdough loaf and millet loaf. Overpriced, flavourless and way too dense. Extremely disappointed for the ridiculous price of £18 for two tiny loafs and postage. Will not buy again!!! Not sure what all these great reviews are about. I've tried proper natural non-processed good bread before and this is not it.

I love this bread! Yes, it's expensive but so tasty, how proper bread should be and very much a home made feel. Those who haven't liked it, to be honest please consider you are comparing apples and pears, this is not like the over processed light fluffy bread you buy from big retailers. This is how bread used to be, a meal in itself. Absolutely love it and will order again. Thanks knife and fork bakery I'm now enjoying bread again after years of crumbly fluff!! 🤣

I purchased three different loaves to try. When the small heavy box arrived my alarm bells were ringing. The loaves were the weight of a builders brick, and were solid. The sourdough loaf was crumbly and very dry. The other two were just tasting like solid pieces of cardboard.
Very disappointed to say the least. After trying once slice from each loaf they were binned.

I have had a bread subscription for a long time now and the quality is always good and it is always delivered on time. On the one occasion there was a small mixup, it was dealt with within hours and sorted out. Their customer service is really excellent. Definitely recommend.

I’m glad I ordered the starter pack before I read some of the reviews, because I love this bread. Maybe if you’re used to bread full of holes and the texture of cake and full of additives you will be disappointed, but I love the fact that I feel satisfied after I’ve eaten my lunch!

Not very nice. Flavourless and hard. Could use the sourdough loaf as a weapon to knock people out.

Terrible Service – Avoid This Shop!

I placed an order expecting it to arrive by the promised date, but the shop completely failed to deliver. I had to wait an extra week, only to find out that there was an issue with the postcode. Instead of contacting me to resolve the issue, they canceled the order without even trying to resend it.

I specifically asked for the delivery driver to contact me for extra instructions, and the shop assured me this would happen—but of course, nobody ever reached out. To make matters worse, when I tried to sort things out, Lucy was incredibly rude and completely unwilling to offer any solutions.

This shop has horrible customer service and clearly doesn’t care about its customers. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere!

I don’t mind the size and price of anything gluten free if the quality and taste is there. However, I tried 3 of their loaves today and the taste and texture of all were inedible. They reminded me of when my husband tried to make me gf vegan scones his first time baking, we spat them out like we spat this bread out. So disappointed at nearly £6 a loaf.

My first purchase of a Sample Pack was extremely disappointing. Despite stating that all bread is freshly baked the bread arrived hard, brittle and on cutting simply broke up. I seriously question the 4 and 5 star reviews on this bakery. My advice DO NOT BUY there is better GF bread available at your local supermarket and at half the price. A response from the bakery would be appreciated.

One of the best gluten-free bread I’ve ever had this sourdough is absolutely die for!
I love that there is zero chemicals in it and it’s absolutely delicious.

I bought a sample pack of their gluten free bread and the loaves were solid and heavy. Not impressed at all, just expensive bricks.

I took advantage of an offer for new users and am so glad I did, it was the perfect start for me to try delicious gluten free options. I'm still working through the very generous portion but so far it has been delicious and I have recommended this bakery to others. So glad that it's also seed oil free, delightful attention to detail.
