Kimberley - The Caravan & Motorhome People - Darlington Omdömen 

I organised to drop my van off on the Saturday before the service on the following Tuesday. They had not told anybody of this which caused confusion for the shop sales department as the service department don't work Saturdays. I reported an issue we had with a leaking tap which prevented us filling the water tank up a month before the service to be told to wait for the service as they would resolve it then. It wasn't resolved and were told we needed a new tap fitting, 3 weeks later they said the warranty claim has been approved but we are still waiting for the new tap to arrive. We can't use the van as intended until the tap is replaced, hopefully before the end of summer. Very poor service for a van under warranty.

Every one that we spoke to was very professional, had full knowledge of the products ( caravans ) from the sales team ( Tom ) to the handover specialist Paul , and the service team

Paul was extremely helpful and explained everything slowly and clearly. Everything went very well and the caravan was everything that I expected.

This worked as it should do.
No hard sell and efficient and knowledgable sale.
Handover very thorough.. the only real problem was that they could not provide a number plate as I do not carry the V5 registration for my car... but that is silly regulations.
Complication that my battery had a screw fitting, not a post but one of their engineers sorted that.
Overall, gave me great confidence and I would go back and recommend.. whereas I would not touch South Cave with a bargepole ever again.

Bought a new motor home off you supposed to have had a pic but there were warning lights on the dash about the automatic handbrake needing servicing havnt been able to use the motor home yet not happy

They cant do enough for you until you’ve paid so if any issues afterwards the after sales isn’t good .

No pressure to buy and plenty to choose from. Very helpful staff to answer the questions we asked. A great handover with everything covered and shown to be working as it should. Rich and Gary were outstanding and the lady with the knowledge about the awnings!

Dealt with Annie in the shop regarding a tentbox , fantastic experience all round, helpful excellent value , highly recommend.

Having messed up my first booking, and requiring 3 days to fulfill the second one, the job was not fully completed (despite being paid in full) due to “items left in the vehicle”. Since no one had bothered to tell me that all items needed to be removed, I wasn’t aware that this was the case.
I wrote to head office asking for an explanation of this logic, and have been completely ignored. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

UPDATE: still waiting for the promised contact mentioned below….. as I said - worst customer service ever! 😡

Everything that was explained at the handover, and there was the reassurance that if any help was needed then it was just a phone call away. Benson and Richard were very professional in the process. We left Kimberley in the knowledge that we were well looked after.

We attended the Oct 2025 NEC show in Birmingham, whilst there we ordered our Swift Elegance 850. Richard Dinsdale was fantastic in getting the order sorted, Kimberley kept us up-date on delivery times and Richard was always to hand answering any questions. When collecting Benson was very in-depth with all controls and made the experience fun. Well-done Kimberley.... following this my daughter and family friends also purchased their Swifts, Again they were really pleased with the service!!!! :-)
