Grabbed the 24V 7Ah battery from Kids Cars and yeah it’s pretty mint quality eh. battery feels solid and runs the ride on real good, no issues so far. happy with the purchase, worth the money.

lowkey thinking about upgrading the ride on later too haha, will be back for sure. cheers team

Ordered the car online and clicked on door to door delivery option for an extra $80.00 charge. My order and shipping selection was accepted with my home address (Rural northland), and I received an order confirmation number. 1 day later I get a call from the company stating they don't do door to door delivery to the address I entered. That I would have to pick the car up at the closest depot in Whangerai which was a 3 hour roundtrip drive for me. I said I would only be willing to do that on the condition they refund the full $80.00 back to me for the door to door shipping, since that's what I was charged for and I would not be receiving, they agreed and said yes you will be refunded the $80.00. What they didn't bother to tell me was the shipping depot isn't open on weekends and requires you to pick up your order wihtin 3 days of receiving your goods. I had to take a day off from work to drive 3 hours round trip to pick up the car. Weeks go by and no refund. I send multiple emails asking for the $80.00 refund I was promised and only 1 email was responded to saying "we'll look into". Finally 2 months go by, and I send another email asking them to credit back the refund as promised or I would be writing a transparent review online to let other potential customers know about their shipping inaccuracies and getting charged for services not rendered. I get a call that afternoon, explaining to me that they are now only willing to offer me a $7.00 credit because it cost them $73.00 to ship it to the depot were I had to pick it up from- 3 hours away from my home, And because they were out that shipping cost, they would only refund me the $7.00 difference from the $80.00 shipping fee I paid. I told them politely not to bother, we have very different expectations of how a customer should be treated and how a buisness should conduct themselves. I have seen another review with similar issues about an order and a bait and switch depot pick up. I can only draw the conclusion that they are doing this willingly to complete sales- they know they cant offer door to door shipping to some locations, but once they have your order placed and your money they make you have to do a depot run and they don't think they owe you a refund for charging for door to door shipping when you actually don't get it.

They said that if I ordered I would receive delivery in 3-4 days, I paid and was given a Mainfreight tracking number. 10 days later Mainfreight still wasn’t showing the tracking number in their system, my emails went unanswered. When spending over $1000 I expect honest communication at least! After calling, saying I would be phoned back we finally got a real tracking notice from Mainfreight. We ended up having to collect the package from their depot as it was too large to be delivered? We got the package in the end, hopefully it is worth the $$$

Purchased a 48v toyota hilux in October 2024. 6 months and 10 days later, one of the 4 electric motors started smoking. It cost $800 too.
Contacted the store 6 times within a 2 week period requesting a replacement motor only to be told that it was outside of the 6 month warranty period. No grace period at all. No manager to speak too. Never at site but does supposedly exist somewhere.. never replied to any emails. Phone never answered first time. Have to keep on trying again and again to get hold of somebody.
Website states that they have a friendly sales team, they definitely aren't. They don't care about satisfying the customer, only after the money. Would not refommend purchasing from these people.

This company was all too quick at replying to emails and phone calls when I was wanting to buy a quad bike for my son but when the bike stopped working after 2 rides, it has been the worst service I could imagine. Phone calls drop out, managers are always "in meetings" 10+ emails have not been responded to once. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

As there is no option for zero, 1 star it is. This place takes my money over $500, closes my order and accuses me of picking it up already then proceeds to tell me he needs to review CCTV footage? Of who? Casper picking up my ride on car? Then wants proof that I didnt pick it up?He was super argumentative on phone, then says I can’t tell you when I will get back to you ,we need to investigate. I want a refund!

Worst customer service I ordered the 2022 Hilux and got the 2021 model i also order the Hilux because of the free delivery but then was told to collect it from the Courier depot. I paid the extra $40 for Number plates which i never received. They wont reply to my texts or call do not buy from this place !!!
