Fantastic shop the staff are really friendly and so very helpful not at all like the staff in pets at home their prices are great compared with other stores. Loads of variety of products absolutely fabulous shop plus the weekly Vet visit for immunisation and information is very helpful

I took Buddy, my dog to the groomers within the Pentrbach / Merthyr Tydfil store for a 12th birthday treat. At VERY short notice,
I called to see "if they could fit him in"
They WERE, just about to close down and go home, but Aimee, the groomer, said she would happily 'valet' him for his birthday. She was FANTASTIC! Not only did she wait until we arrived, but when we did, therewas NO rushing around to finish or get home... in fact, the opposite! Aimee treated Buddy with such care and love that clearly she loves what she does, and what she does is fantastic! The room was like a snowstorm had hit it! Buddy, a snowdog breed, sheds masses of fur and because I have been extremely ill, have not been able to brush him much... and boy, did it show!
I must add, Dave, dep store manager was brilliant too, as he took the call and asked Aimee if she could do it. I could hear the conversation over the phone and was impressed even then, at the sheer friendliness that the staff obviously have for each other.
I am MEGA IMPRESSED with the store and all who work there and well, as for Aimee... what a wonderful lady.

Lovely staff at the Merthyr shop. Wish I could remember her name because she was great. We had a good chat about our cats and she was very helpful, as I was looking for food to help with an overweight moggy. Excellent choice of pet foods, especially Royal Canin, at good prices too. Plus I like their loyalty scheme.
