⚠️ Warning Review – Jio Worldwide Courier (My Personal Experience)

I want to share my personal experience with Jio Worldwide so others can stay careful.

This was my first transaction with them. When I tried to make a payment through their website by entering my card details, the payment did not go through, and no label was generated. Because of security concerns, I immediately blocked my card.

After some time, I received WhatsApp messages from Jio Worldwide saying:

> “Your payment was declined again.”

What raised a serious red flag for me was that they asked:

> “Is your card from USA or Pakistan?”

I replied that my card was UAE-based.

⚠️ This is very concerning, because a merchant should never have access to sensitive card details like CVV or enough information to retry transactions manually or ask about card origin. This strongly suggests that card data may be stored or misused, which is extremely unsafe.

In my opinion, this is a very risky practice. Even if they provide courier services, handling card data in this way can expose customers to fraud. If I had not blocked my card in time, I am confident unauthorized transactions could have happened.

I was supposed to have two boxes shipped from New York to Mumbai 3 months ago. The very next day one of the boxes got returned to me all tattered and the other box was nowhere to be found. The team said there was a payment issue with Fedex and my other box has been held HOSTAGE by Fedex because of it. These guys tried to scam Fedex into not paying their dues and Fedex has blocked their account. My package has been held by Fedex because of their shady practices.

Since then these frauds have made no effort to reach out and give any updates - I have had to follow up by calling and emailing every week and all I hear is they're working on it.

Extremely unprofessional and fraudulent company. DO NOT ship anything with them if you want to see your packages again.

Strong Warning: Avoid Jio Worldwide for USA to India Shipping

I strongly advise against using Jio Worldwide for any shipments from the USA to India. My personal experience was exceptionally negative, marked by a complete lack of support and significant financial repercussions.

They provided inadequate guidance on proper listing procedures, which proved critical. When my courier inevitably became stuck with Indian port authorities, Jio Worldwide offered absolutely no assistance, despite their high service charges. After receiving payment, any problems were immediately blamed on me (the customer) for the listing or other issues. Crucially, they refused to coordinate with FedEx or any other courier to help release the shipment.

I was constantly forced to initiate contact just to get updates on my package's status. Ultimately, my father and I had to personally handle the entire process of getting the package released in India, incurring heavy customs duties that Jio Worldwide completely washed their hands of. Save yourself the headache, hassle, and extra cost—choose a different shipping service.
