Bought a day pass specifically to do my run in a cool environment and let's just say, I should've stayed outside. 🙃 The air con upstairs is non existent, it is not only hot but very humid.
Also, I'd rather not have to download the app when buying a day pass. Just send me the QR in the confirmation email.

Air conditioning is horrendous and not really acceptable for a modern gym, but nobody seems to care. It's been the same for years since it opened, currently sitting here, sweating after only a few sets, and everyone is walking around with sweat dripping off of them, rather unhygienic. I'm getting a bit fed up with it now. Other than that, great gym with good equipment, just hate training in the summer or heat waves.....
Still nothing done about the heat... dropping stars.
Has anyone ever heard of fans in this place? they literally had 1 in Primark the other day, large air conditioning unit with a fan sitting on the shop floor. its not rocket science JD GYMS!

Edit: they responded with a solution.
I signed up for the gym and went the next day, but my account still hadn't been activated. There weren't any staff, even after I pressed the button to call the over (this was at 20:00). I then went to cancel my membership at the end of the month as I was just visiting, and then they charged me for the next month too, because you have to give a months notice. But then that should have been on the page when you pay, it's really dishonest tactics.

Great equipment and honestly great price for the service considering the sauna and other amenities.

Best 24hr in the area
I’ve been training here for around a year now and I really enjoy it. I’ve trained in gyms all over the area, and for the price you cant beat it with the equipment available. Management and staff are cool and approachable
