I have recently purchased the JCB woodchipper 120mm for my own garden. firstly it looks the part, as an image its a great design. it does handle medium sized branch limbs.

However the instructions wernt the best, because of my tree surgery background i was able to work out how to put it together. the instructions could do with a better step by step process. the engine is high tech and powerful but the open feeder without any rollers makes chipping logs risky. the logs arent steady they bounce around the gravity feeder until its eventually chipped. for a untrained or inexperienced person this could cause injury if they try and hold the branch steady.

its competitive for price and does handle what i need it to sort. delivery was quick and left it where i asked. i think it has the potential to rival other small professional chippers but it needs roller feeders to move into that category.

I chose the JCB sliding mitre saw above other competitors as the information via the website along with very good images, blade size and at a competitive price gave me the confidence to purchase.
I had previously had a Dewalt saw and in the short period of time using the JCB model the performance is much the same, time will tell hence 4 stars.

JCB 100mm Wood Chipper. Ordered on-line which was very easy. Arrived promptly and extremely well packed. Watched online video of how to assemble also very useful.

Product itself is very well manufactured and the performance is amazing, a breeze to get through a mountain of brambles and branch cut offs. Used 3 times already and starting is easy , large garden and easy to move around with big wheels.
Not the cheapest on the market but for this type of product you get what you pay for and I am truly delighted with it.

Good value for money, easy website to navigate, fast delivery

The new 100 chipper is fantastic. It assembled very easily, especially with the benefit of a clear and helpful video, from crate to start up in under 2 hours. The machine is impressively solidly built and super powerful. The double bladed drum devours everything you put in it and produces perfect bark for paths, beds, mulching and composting. Despite the weight it is easily moved by one person and can be stored in a compact space if you remove the large chute and pop it over the smaller one. The wheels are heavy duty and set into a heavy duty axel that is not going to cause any problems going forward. I spent a long time looking at chippers and chipper videos and this one exceeded all my expectations.

Arrived on time excellent tool and quality

I’ve usedJCB for years now their tools can seem heavy but with that comes quality. An old JCB drill/ driver I’ve had now for 20ish years now still going strong. Fed bud being in one place and tools in another I recently brought another JCB drill/ driver, its design is smaller than my old one but you can feel the quality and its power immediately….ive had other makes inbetween but none have matched the lasting power.

I had already concluded there was no point pursuing it as I did not even know who to contact (I had made the purchase at a 1 day sale activity in a temporary site).
