Jacaranda is a worthy alternative to traditional fund providers, and helps Australians get on with their lives when an unexpected cost arises. We understand that when you need money, you need it now. Traditional lenders take too long to get back to you and request a mountain of paperwork. Modern day lenders give you a quick decision, but not always the decision you were after due to their unnecessarily tight lending criteria and loan processing methods. Scary intimidating lender
You will see a lot of incentivised reviews from happy customers who are newly approved. I was one of them. Until I fell behind due to a temporary personal reason. They are ruthless. These guys charge 47.8% interest. Fee upon fee. If you get behind one bit, you're in deep deep trouble.
To try to rectify this, I simply asked them for a slightly reduced AFFORDABLE payment plan, but mainly I needed them to put a stop on the huge fees and charges. They keep demanding I put in a hardship request AGAIN - even though they have already declined one (apparently due to not enough information).
They have got one of their supposed "Customer Service" reps to contact me, advising me that even in hardship, they can repossess my vehicle. He's a boxing figure with several videos of him online punching a person in the head.
Don't believe them when they say they want you help you. They only approve you if you're in decent financial shape (no or a minor default and no red flags on your bank statement). So you're better off waiting the extra day for a bank loan.

Highly recommend
Though it took longer than expected (but within a week since application), I had a posiive outcome and the process was streamlined. Jacarandah are thorough which I appreciate which confirms they are responsible lenders. I don't have the greatest credit rating but they looked beyond that based on my recent repayment and responsible banking history. Thank you Jacarandah Finance and I would recommend them to anyone.

A surprisingly good experience …

At first I was about to give up specifically when they asked me so many questions and to prove who I am because my identities changed cause I remarried just as well I’ve got everything ready in my phone marriage certificate Medicare car registration etc. but quite reasonable anyway all in all it was a good transaction to deal with and very helpful and I’m so glad that I found them for what I needed for thank you it means a lot and very affordable payment back easy peasy
