Took more than a quarter of the money I…

Took more than a quarter of the money I received back from the revenue, for a service I could’ve done myself free of charge. I presumed the fee would’ve been much smaller due to the lack of information provided by your service surrounding the service fee, and how the service without a 3rd party, is free.

I am sorry that you rebate was not larger, but we did secure all the tax back that you could have been due.
It is possible for taxpayers to request a rebate from Revenue, if they can access their myAccount, but please note that Revenue will not enquire whether you have any additional tax credits to claim, which could mean that your rebate potential is not maximised.

A harassment letter threatening a…

A harassment letter threatening a solicitor for a €25.00 fee which the sent on in a cheque!! Charging over a third of what ever the client gets and an absolute condescending attitude in letter form and over the phone.
Wouldn't recommend this blood sucking company to any hard working people.

Thanks for the feedback and it is disappointing that you were dissatisfied with the service.
Due to changes introduced by Revenue this year, we do now need to collect our fee separate from the rebate amount, when in the past we would have deducted the fee from the rebate and sent the net amount to clients.
From our clients feedback, this is not the preferred solution, but please be assured that we only send letters regarding potential legal action once the fee is significantly overdue and still unpaid.
I am not sure of your particular case, as I cannot identify this from your name on this review, but please do contact me directly if I can clarify anything further for you.

I’m very disappointed with the fee…

I’m very disappointed with the fee charged for my tax rebate. I was told that your fee would be 10% of the amount I received from Revenue. I received €650, so 10% would be €65, not €123.

I would therefore like this charge to be investigated and an explanation provided as to why €123 was debited from my account. If the agreed fee was 10%, I believe I have been overcharged and would like the difference refunded.

Please review my account and provide me with a clear breakdown of the €123 charge, I would appreciate this being resolved as soon as possible.

Hi Angela
Apologies for the delayed response, but please contact me directly and I will look into this for you.
I suspect that the tax saving we secure for you for the current 2026 tax year is €1,000 and while you may have only received €650 in your initial pay after the changes were made, you will see further tax savings in each pay cycle until the end of the year. This will total €1,000 for the year.
Our fee is charged once and 10% plus VAT is €123, but this is more favourable for you than us charging the initial fee on the €650 and then charging a minimum fee for each subsequent pay slip.

Irish Tax Rebates persevered with my rebate claim all the way through, even though, it seemed at times that Revenue themselves weren't on the same page as we were. I thank the Rebate Team for sticking with me ,and making sure that i received my payment in the end.
