Great for settling standard claims but very slow to settle a hospital claim

A Top Class service from a Top Class Company.

I did contact complaints - they refused me on both grounds 1. Ambiguous documentation 2. Failure of Irish Life to comply with the 2025 Central bank code of practice by not giving me an opportunity to change my mind.
I made a withdrawal from my plan, and eventhough my summary documents said there would be no charges, I was charged 3% withdrawal fees. They said the summary document didn't count, it was the contract that counted. They never even called me to say there would be fees. How dishonest. I will be leaving Irish Life as soon as I can and telling everybody I know to have NOTHING to do with them. Customers definitely DO NOT come first with them.

Ivan Soroka was a pleasure to deal with. Very professional and easy to get along with. He made us feel comfortable and helped us understand everything from start to finish. He came across as someone who has a deep knowledge and experience in this area which we were not up to speed on. Thank you Ivan for setting up our family protection which gives us peace of mind and assurity. Highly recommended!

They send lots of emails saying how great they are that they are able to offer me things like GP visits dental visits physio visits however I’ve been to Tan GP‘s this year and they claim that my ex does not meet the €25 that I’m supposed to be reimbursed it is a Scam also they email you what offer offers example or you’re at home health kit no matter how many times I tried to click the link to take me to my account and log into my account. Their website does not work on the links do not work. Irish life are a terrible service.

At 78 years of age - though healthy in body and mind, admin of any type is challenging

Irish Life App is not functional , constantly freezes, do not log uploads properly even though claims for reimbursement confirmed as uploaded.

The ease in getting information and making a claim.

Everything was sorted by calling an agent (Katy)by phone. Great help.. its good to talk to people not machine.. Katy made it very easy and understanding.

I just read Astor's review (below) of Irish Life Pension Products and Irish Life refusing/failing to provide Astor access to his/her funds. I can fully see where Astor is coming from...it took me three years, 100+ emails and filing a Civil Bill to get access to my Pension Funds....yes MY MONEY!!!!! In addition, Irish Life still refuses to give me access to my AVC funds. YES AGAIN MY FUNDS!!!!They referred me to the Ombudsman so I filed a civil suit. Irish Life is what I would describe as an organisation with a Criminal History, owned by a Foreign Company; taking our life's savings.
Be very careful with IL pension products. Irish life has little respect for Policyholders; shown by a 1 rating by 50% of reviews...Irish Life Health has even a worse rating. Irish Life is the same company who's CEO went to Jail for Conspiracy to Defraud in a £7.2 billion euro fraud which cost the Irish Taxpayer and Irish Life Policyholders between 30 and 70 billion Euro and had Irish Life had to be rescued by the Irish Government before being bought by a Foreign Company. The criminal trial of Irish Life CEO, who took early retirement (after or during his Trial) was the longest trial in Irish Criminal history. Check out Fenton, Went and Dillon's actions against Irish Life for further examples of Policyholder Abuse, unlawfully taking photography of Children of Policyholders as leverage to deny a Policyholder claim , which is probably Child Abuse as far as i can tell, ...The children aged 2 and 6 received significant sums in Damages from Irish Life approved by the Court for Irish Life's despicable behaviour. Also, Irish Life has contempt for Irish Life Policyholder's Personal and Financial Information as shown in Dillon. Dillon...a case which went to the Supreme Court and Dillon prevailed; as dis Fenton and Went above. Irish Life also shared my information with unauthorised third party over many years and i only found this out recently.
Know who you are dealing with and the risks!!!! and read the reviews on Trustpilot.

.....Have a pension fund there. Be warned, very unresponsive and poor service. My fund is overdue to be paid. Can't get them to pay out for several months. Constant delays, requests for documents already provided and basically anything to avoid paying up. Not recommended.
