Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our first tattoos was a big decision for my husband and me, and Caitlin made the experience exceptional today. Her clear explanations and calming presence put us at ease. We're thrilled with how the tattoos turned out. Much appreciation to Caitlin!
My stepdaughter had a tattoo at Inked Up Chester by an artist named Hans a few months ago on her thigh. Due to the poor standard of work we have recently had to book this in at another local studio to Chester to have it corrected to the tattoo she initially came in to have. My stepdaughter has autism and is a very quiet polite girl, who in my opinion has been manipulated into thinking that the tattoo she has had done was to an adequate level. The workmanship is appalling, hygiene very poor and not a good experience at all overall. Thankfully we have now had it fixed for her, at a more professional studio with a completely different experience.
Charged over £500 for this too which is disgraceful, and myself, my family and friends will not be returning under any circumstances.
So happy with my new tattoo by Hans at Inked Up Chester, I had an old tattoo that needed covering and he did a brilliant job!!

Took daughter for piercings very professionally done, no issues after. I had an on the spot tattoo done. Very helpful and professional staff with advice for after care and future plans.

We had booked an appointment, an hour in advance cancelled the appointment due to “feeling sick”. Just after festival weekend seems a coincidence.
Originally went there for a piercing just because it was the cheapest around, but they were great, so friendly and asked if I was alright after each step. I'd had about 15 piercings before but can honestly say it was the cleanest and least painful I've had
David did my first tattoo (for my 60th) Saturday 15th June. Made me feel really comfortable. Didn't hurt a bit. Really good job done and all with a smile! Thanks from Sue
Fantastic experience and fantastic staff. Called in without an appt as I'd taken my nose ring out and couldn't get it back in as it had heeled slightly. Had been elsewhere who wouldn't help me or even take a look but at Inked Up I met Jade who was amazing and got this back in for me without any issues and was so friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back here in the future.
