I had issue with my setup of my MySQL…

I had issue with my setup of my MySQL server, while out of the scope of the agreement the support team fix the issue with grace, love, and easy!!

That is the kind of support that a customer needs!!
So happy with the support team.
I would highly recommend INIZ.

A extreme happy custumor since 2016

I'm already a customer since 2016. I have a small vps. the linux OS was outdated and i needed a upgrade to a new linux distro. They helped me extremely good. I got a new vps so i could install everything. This was while my old server was still running.

i had some small issues with my install. But they helped me very well. it's amazing how well their service is!

they also respond very quickly to support tickets

Short and shocking experience

While indeed a cheap price, and I was hoping to replace this with current setup with GCP.

While I admit my mistake that I didn't see the policy about proxy/vpn, as I've not encountered this before: I found my IP is banned, was not sure why (apparently my workplace IP was banned), I tried to get around it by VPN, which made things worse.

The 'support' is not a support exactly. It is incredibly rude and angry person, whom I sure this little action make him/her feel better about him/her-self, as the 'protector of the realm'. No conversation, nothing. Just cancelled my account, and refused further orders.

I'm glad this experience happened early before I invested more in their service. It is incredibly unreliable to do business with a moody organization.

Sure, it is cheaper, but I don't mind paying few euros more for a dignified experience.

I don't recommend it.

Edit 1: He claims false that I signed with false address. I didn't provide my 'street address' and 'city', because it is a bit too much to ask for a Virtual Machine. And it is interesting he claims that, since he has ZERO evidence on it.
Childish behaviors.

Signed up with falsified information, fake address, multiple orders over VPN. Customer was refunded same day and refused future business. Full name did NOT match PayPal account. Opened ticket asking why and was told bluntly the above.

Previously we would ask customer to provide ID however we simply now refuse business to anyone intentionally entering fake information or details that we believe to be high risk.

We are not desperate for business that we would accept any risk orders to reduce fraud and service abuse this process is much easier for all parties involved as in most cases fraudulent orders aren't able to provide valid documents.

Poor ethics and no refund

They raised the price of my service so I let it lapse. They continued to take payment at the old rate but I had no running service and they won’t refund. More than £100 out of pocket and nothing to show for it. Avoid at all costs, highly questionable ethics.

Has anyone noticed a theme to the negative reviews?

As stated, I did not cancel but did not agree to the increased charge. When you say the terms have been in place for several years, I’ve been a customer for around 8 years, have the terms in this regard changed in that time as I wasn’t notified if that’s the case.

Finally, who can really remember what they agreed to 8 years ago, this comes back to a question of ethics rather than contractual nuances

As stated in the terms clearly (of which the same refund policy has remained unchanged for several years), proper cancellations are to be made via ticket and they should cancel or remove any billing agreements, which as stated in the review was not done.

Subsequent renewal amounts are available as account credit and still available today.

As per the terms accepted:
>If the account holder cancels after the time period specified, there will be no refund given.

>Recurring payments will not be refunded on renewal, you should issue cancellation request 8 days prior to next due date and/or cancel your billing agreement or remove the card on file from client area.

We cannot please clients who fail to follow the terms that they have accepted at time of order.

Decided to suddenly close their Sweden…

Decided to suddenly close their Sweden location with mere 10 days prior notice. No migration to new location, no automated refunds, nothing. What an absolute fraud. Don't use them if you want an actually reliable service.

Fraud would imply we aren't giving customers money bank. As stated in the email they can submit ticket to claim refund and we have processed all of them to date.

Maybe you can share proof of downtime or bad service when you had the service for the last 4 years, because its rarely ever had any downtime or performance issues. Most clients submitted tickets thanking us for several years of awesome service and understood market dynamics have changed.

All the best for the future and hopefully you will be able to find another provider that could come even close to the price/service ratio in Sweden.

Questionable ethics

I purchased a plan with INIZ, but unfortunately the resources purchased were not enough for my needs. I chose to upgrade to ensure resources were sufficient.

Unfortunately I chose not to continue with the service supplied and cancelled within 5 days.

I asked for a refund, but they argue that in their terms and conditions that upgrades are non-refundable so will only refund me for the original package purchased.

I would understand such a position had I been using their service for longer than 7 days, but I cancelled with 7 days and now have no services.

What sort of position is it not to offer a full refund? Morally reprehensible. Shame on you INIZ.

It would be questionable if the terms were not clear, client accepted he read the terms prior to payment and continued to order and upgrade his server. We offer refunds for first ORDER, first order was his initial VM purchase, he continued as he says so himself to make further upgrade orders and thus accepting service is fit for use.

We refunded the initial order without questions and even offered account credit for the upgrade orders which he could use for any of our services even though our terms state further orders are non-refundable.

Slow support, Non existent refund.

Paid with PayPal business with genuine details, services were activated and production environment were setup, so far so good.

1-2 days later received an email about a photo ID required for "verification purposes", which I declined, and this is understandable, hence I chose to receive a full refund instead of providing sensitive personal information.

My services were cancelled, however 36 hours later refund still no where to be found, intentionally / unintentionally, I guess time will tell....

A suggestion for your company is that if you take fraud protection so seriously to turn away genuine customers, is to pre authorized the payment and reverse the amount should you not accept their order- not withholding a customer's fund yet happily cancelled their order.

We have automated checks at time of order prior to payment but not all orders are of course caught, there is also a clear red warning box advising clients to not use fake or invalid details prior to completing the order.

At manual review we could not verify the billing details which we believe to be generic and you were asked to provide additional verification which you rejected to do so (perfectly fine, not all clients wish to).

This occurred over the weekend, we have processed your refund within 2 business days which we believe is perfectly acceptable timeframe.

Thank you for support and excellent service for our vps since 2017 until 2020. The reason I leave is INIZ no longer have Singapore based vps. If not, I will stick with INIZ. Hope you guys have a bright future in this business

When it comes to first impressions

When it comes to first impressions I'm not a strong believer and as a seasoned user of hosting services from different providers, this guys are the best!

As a cheapskate that I am and a newcomer to their hosting service arrangement they greeted me with utmost respect and promptly replied to any query providing even an extended service to comply with some of my requests. Imagine that... especially taking into account the day and age we all live in, where everything sucks and you don't get your money's worth, their CRM implementation is beyond anything I've seen so far and for a shamefully affordable price

A well deserved salute is in order
