For years I have had to use medicated shampoo for my hair and scalp because of Medical conditions but have been desperate to try something kinder to animals and the planet! I started with the teatree set. I have to admit the first 6 weeks were the hardest. I had horrendous flakes in my hair constantly, I had to wash my hair every 2 days because of my scalp and I almost gave up, my hair felt dry and horrible... but I didn't (being stubborn) I'm so glad I carried on because its been over 3 months that I have been using indie for and my hair has actually never felt better. I've even been able to swap over to the orange shampoo and moringa conditioner which is gorgeous. My hair feels like silk and smells incredible. ❤

I ordered a shampoo and conditioner set. Lovely expensive looking bottle and the shampoo smelt divine. Unfortunately the shampoo made my hair claggy and it felt coated in something. I tried a few times and contacted Jo at Indie support. Their response was extremely quick and she explained about a transition period. Unfortunately my hair still was the same after. Jo refunded my money and gave me details of a new shampoo she is currently working on which wouldn’t need a transition period. I wish Jo all the success in her new venture.

Good choice of products and great and prompt customer service when I raised a query online.

Shampoo works great, nice looking bottles and large to boot! However the conditioner (I got the keratin one) is very greasy and heavy, doesn’t work with my hair at all.

Five star for customer service, the packaging is lovely, the smell is great, unfortunately the formula I ordered didn't suit my particular hair type, so I got in contact with Jo at Indie, She has been amazing and issued me a full refund. Looking forward to trying other formula's.

Love love love my refills! The smells are divine and don’t trigger my rosacea. My hair feels great, and it was brilliant to have a few options for different hair and scalp needs. I struggle with bar products in the shower due to mobility issues and these refills mean I can be eco conscious as well as have a product I enjoy. Brilliant!

Shampoo and conditioner smells wonderful.
But, my hair feels heavy after shampoo (and I have fine hair), possibly it just need to get used to it, so not sure if it’s a shampoo or may hair.

Lovely packaging, and a brilliant idea!

Beautiful, minimalist containers that I can identify without my glasses. The dispensers also help reduce the amount of product I go through by measuring each portion, so that's an unexpected bonus. For the product itself, so far so good. A few weeks in and my hair is still behaving normally and smells lovely so that's a great start.

Great new company, offering great low-waste products at an affordable price. Jo, the founder, responded to my emails personally and sent a thank you card with my order. The package arrived quickly and so far I am very impressed with the shampoo!

Great idea. Unfortunately both of the bottle’s were bent and when I got in touch regarding this with the company I heard nothing back.

Product itself I am not blown away, after washing it my hair felt greasy. Maybe it needs just adaptation to a new product.

Not sure if I will use it again.

Having used shampoo and conditioner bars I found they weren’t the most hygienic and was wanting to switch back to liquid shampoo but I also wanted to keep my plastic waste to a minimum.

Finding Indie was the perfect solution. The products smell lush and my hair feels so soft. Jo the founder was also so helpful when I asked about the tea tree shampoo.

I did have to wait a few weeks for this shampoo coming back in stock but it was so worth the wait

Customer service is outstanding. Jo is on top of the orders and kept me completely up to date with the status of my order. I had a slight issue with the website and accidentally ordered the wrong scents. Jo emailed me back within minutes and had amended my order. I used it for the first time last night, I'm used to using natural products so didn't need to go through the adjustment process. I purchased the vitamin E shampoo and Argan oil conditioner. Both smelled amazing and my hair was left clean, soft and far more manageable than after using a conditioner bar.

I’ve been using this shampoo & conditioner since they launched and I can honestly say my hair has never been so healthy! It can last 4/5 days now without washing and no longer has any frizz. The eco friendly packaging and refills are also brilliant. Very happy with this new natural and sustainable alternative.

Indie is a really great brand. The quality and smell of the products are really amazing. I have curly hair and been looking for a sulphate free brand for a while. At first my hair wasn’t fully agreeing but I spoke to Jo, who I think is the founder, and they were really knowledgeable and helpful and coached me through the right amounts to use. Since then my hair has been amazing and my curls are looking great. The fact that it’s refillable so I’m saving money and plastic is also a huge bonus.

I love Indie!! Bought a Duo Starter Pack to make another small change towards sustainability and I’m so impressed with this shampoo and conditioner! Firstly, the reusable bottles look really beautiful and the pump helps me reduce how much product I use, as before I was using way too much. The smell is amazing and lathers into my hair really well, my hair feels moisturised but not greasy. Definitely recommend Indie! Thank you for helping me become more sustainable :)

So so happy with my starter pack from indie! I ordered the cocoa butter shampoo and the clay conditioner and they both smell INCREDIBLE and I love that they use natural and cruelty free ingredients. Both products feel so much nicer than the cheap stuff I was using before and you don't need to use much product at all, so I can tell these bottles will last me a long time which is great.
There wasn't a stitch of plastic in any of the packaging and it has such clear instructions for what to do with your kit and the packaging when you're done so that it gets recycled and there isn't any waste.
Bonus: The bottles they come in look so great (no more shampoo bottle graveyard in the shower for me!) it feels like a salon in your house

I got the starter kits when they were firstly launching.

The one I had (for oily hair) smells divine, natural scents, no nasties like mainstream shampoos and conditioners you get in supermarkets. It's cruelty free and vegan and, if you're like me that tries to get your toiletries as natural as possible, you'll love this one!

My partner has had dry scalp for months, with bad case of dandruff and after one or two uses that's nearly gone. Hair comes so soft too even without conditioner.

Customer service is perfect, on point and Jo (the founder) always so kind and thoughtful.
