I have not heard back from them, website seem to be either in the middle of shutting down. I have not received any confirmation no follow up. I called them and it seems the inbox is full same goes with the email. I can’t contact anyone. Feels like I took a fat L $315usd I orders my jacket back In Nov 2025 and now it’s Jan 2026. Nothing from them, if anyone has gotten a hold of them please advise how.

I wanted a custom leather jacket for my wife, and Independence Brothers had ~decent reviews, so I decided to risk it. We filled out everything on their form, but then left explicit, detailed notes in the comment section of the order. They wrote us back to confirm everything, and then we double checked that they had, in fact, read through the CUSTOM notes on this CUSTOM leather jacket.

When we got the jacket, out of the box it didn’t fit right. WAY too baggy, proportioned wrong, all of that. We wrote to the company to try to understand why on earth they screwed it up, and after talking eventually with the owner (who was an absolute prick), we got nowhere (they wanted to charge us an additional $100 to fix their mistake).

I did a credit card chargeback. These guys were the WORST.

I got my fiancé a leather jacket from Independence Brothers, and he absolutely loves it! The quality is incredible—soft, durable leather with a perfect fit. He looks amazing in it, and he’s been getting compliments nonstop. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really stand out, and the customer service was great throughout the process. If you’re looking for a high-quality leather jacket, this is the place to go!

Lowest quality leather I’ve ever encountered. I can literally scratch the brown coating off with my fingernail revealing some sort of white material
underneath.

It is a real win at a very reasonable price. I am not sure I could have gotten a jacket with these features and color at any price. But to have one made to measure at the price I got is unbelievable. It is well made and looks fantastic. I am so happy with it, I am thinking about ordering another lighter weight jacket in a different cut. The fitting process was very high-touch, with significant interaction with the company to make sure we got the measurements right. If you want a leather jacket, this is the place to get it. Strongly recommend!

I am 6 ft 8 tall and so have never really had a properly fitting jacket in my adult life so I was very excited to find Ind Bros. Ordered a modern moto and a trucker and both fit perfectly. My expectations were met and more. Customer service was great. Both fit like a glove and look great. Never felt anything like it. Getting a ton of compliments too.

The jacket I bought is a jacket I'll want to keep for the rest of my life! I looks AMAZING! A superb quality, masterful design, and stunning style! The 3 and a half months was worth the wait! It is by far, the best jacket I own!

I was apprehensive at first and willing to take a chance. I’m very happy I did!! Maria and Scott were helpful and patient with my questions. The jacket fits PERFECTLY. Recommend taking the time to understand your measurements and what kind of fit you’re after and run questions by them. Super happy with the outcome!

For a couple of years now I have been looking for a very specific leather jacket design from a picture I saw somewhere back in 2015. On the site of Independence Brothers I found exactly what I was looking for and on the 15’th of November 2023 I ordered a jacket from the website and payed 339 USD. After two days I was contacted by email sent from an employee of the company, Maria Ermolenko. We exchanged a couple of emails discussing the size of the jacket and the approximate ETA was at the time set to roughly sometime in January. I was in the US for about a month and a half and hoped that I will receive the jacket by the time I leave but tough luck. At the end of January I left the country and contacted the company in order to change the shipping address from the States to Bulgaria. Maria Ermolenko sent me an invoice for 45 USD that I payed on the 5’th of February for international shipping and they confirmed that the shipping information was updated. Around the 26’th of February I got a tracking number for a USPS package witch Maria Ermolenko claims was delivered to the old shipping address in the States. She admitted that they were at fault and explained that some kind of mix-up must of happened and they sent the jacket to the wrong CONTINENT, but denied me a refund and said that they will make a new jacket and send it this time to me at the correct address in Europe. It’s been about three months after the last email from her and 6 months after I made the order and nothing is happening. I tried multiple times to get in touch with someone from the company but they will not return my emails. I reported the company to my bank but since I wired the money with a 3D protected password and it’s been more than 6 month after the payment I cannot dispute the charge. My bank blacklisted the company but I still lost 384 USD in total. So I reported the company to the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Overall I am really disappointed and seeing the other reviews on here I begin to think that (A) – I’m unlucky and hope that the jacket will arrive in the next couple of years or (B) – It’s a scam. My only advice is if you think about ordering from this website and company in general be prepared to lose some money.

My “full grain” leather jacket is made of bonded leather

The jacket looks great,as good or better than the picture on the web site. I especially liked the pebbled finish on the cow leather. The weight of the leather is a bit heavier than most of my other leather jackets which is a plus since it should last for years.The field jacket has a number of pockets and seams all of which seem to be well done. The only flaw I could find is a small area where the dye is uneven. Couple of dabs with a black sharpie should fix it. overall, I am happy with the jacket.

This company is extremely frustrating to do business with. I ordered my jacket back at the end of September and confirmed my measurements on 10/9/2023.. the confirmation email said it takes 6-8 weeks to make the jacket(estimate) and gives a link to check the status.
My issue is that from day one of confirmation that stays checker has never changed and supposedly it’s updated every 3-4 weeks but that is not the case. Also the eta on the status checker states that my jacket was 17th in line to be produced and that they make about 13 jackets a week so my jacket should be ready in 2-3 weeks so after production, inspection, and shipping is get it in around a month. Again this was October 9.. it is now almost Christmas and I still haven’t gotten my jacket. When I reached out to get a status ”Maria” nonchalantly told me to use the “handy dandy” order checker, like I haven’t been using it already and started that in the first email. And then she states “your jacket is where it should be in the queue”, are you serious!!!! When I expressed my displeasure with their service I got an email stating that my jacket is ready and will ship in about a week.. this was Dec 7.. it is now dec 11 and still no tracking number.. I will not ever order anything from these people again

Got my jacket just in time for fall! Sizing was easy and thorough, choosing the pocket and a minimal hardware layout meant I didn't end up with any goofy compromises, and the lambskin is such a nice touch.

Really happy with the quality and fit of my jacket. The fit is perfect and quality is beautiful. Totally met my expectations. They even helped catch a mistake I made in the measurements so you know they're really looking out. Scott and Maria were a joy to work with.

I bought a double rider leather jacket a few months ago, the wait was a little long but the jacket came perfectly to my measurements. Maria was great to work with and I'd definitely work with them again for another jacket for myself or family members.
