Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the outfit did not meet your expectations.

However, we would like to clarify a few points for the benefit of future customers.

In your return request, you advised that the colour looked different and that the fabric was not what you had expected. The photographs on our website were taken using the actual production garment, and the fabric was clearly stated in the product description before purchase. Whilst colours can appear slightly different depending on individual screen settings and device displays, we do not use different garments for our photography.

Although there was no fault with the item, we accepted your return in line with our 14-day returns policy. Your order was delivered on time, your return instructions were provided promptly, and your refund was processed on the very same day that your return arrived back with us.

We appreciate that paying postage can be frustrating. However, the delivery and return charges are paid directly to the independent courier companies that transport parcels to and from customers. These are not fees retained by us, and unfortunately we are unable to refund courier charges where an item is returned simply because it is no longer wanted or does not meet personal expectations.

We are sorry that this particular purchase was not to your liking, but we respectfully disagree that the product or service was not as described. We believe we fulfilled our obligations by accurately describing the item, delivering it promptly, accepting the return without issue, and issuing your refund as quickly as possible.

We would, however, like to clarify a couple of points for future customers.

The outfit was returned because the top was too tight. Unfortunately, XL was the largest size available from the designer, and the garment measurements matched the size chart provided on the product page. As ready-to-wear clothing varies between brands, we include a detailed size chart with every product so customers can compare the measurements before ordering.

We are also sorry that you found our return instructions unclear. The instructions we provided consisted of just two simple steps: placing your order number inside the parcel and posting it to our clearly stated returns address. If anything had been unclear, we would have been more than happy to explain further had you contacted us.

Finally, our returns policy clearly states that customers are responsible for return postage unless an item is faulty or has been supplied incorrectly. This policy is displayed on our website before purchase and is applied consistently to all online orders.

We genuinely value your custom and are sorry that this particular purchase was not the right fit. We hope this clarifies the situation for anyone reading your review.

We are disappointed to read this review, particularly because it contains no specific details about what you believe was "nothing like the picture."

The outfit you purchased was a printed ready-to-wear 2-piece suit, and both the product photographs and video accurately show the design, colours and overall appearance of the garment. In fact, this particular design proved extremely popular and has now completely sold out.

We also note that you did not contact our customer service team before leaving this review. Had you done so, we would have been happy to understand your concerns and, if the outfit was not suitable, you could have returned it under our 14-day returns policy for a refund. As a local customer living only 5 mins away in BD9 from our store, returning the item would have been straightforward.

We fully respect that customers may not always like a particular style or fabric. However, describing the product as "an absolute con" suggests deliberate deception, which we categorically reject. We accurately describe our products, provide photographs and videos of the actual garments, and offer a returns policy precisely because we understand that online purchases may not suit everyone's personal preferences.

We are genuinely sorry that the outfit did not meet your expectations, but we believe it would have been fairer to contact us first and allow us the opportunity to assist before making such serious allegations.

However, we do feel it is important to clarify a few points for the benefit of future customers.

The fabric of both outfits was clearly stated as "Poly Lawn" on the product pages before purchase. In fact, Fabric is one of only a handful of headings highlighted in bold within our product descriptions, specifically to make this information easy to find. The garments were therefore accurately described and were not advertised as 100% cotton lawn.

When you contacted us, we explained that the fabric was Poly Lawn and, although there was nothing incorrect with the product description, we still accepted your return in accordance with our 14-day returns policy and refunded you the full purchase price of both outfits.

Regarding the delivery and return costs, we appreciate that nobody enjoys paying postage. However, these charges are paid directly to the third-party delivery companies that transport the parcel to and from your address. They are not retained by us, and unfortunately we are unable to recover or refund those courier charges when a customer simply changes their mind or the item is not suitable.

We understand that online shopping relies on the information provided, which is why we include the fabric composition, photographs and product specifications on every listing. We can only present that information as clearly as possible, and in this case the fabric was accurately described before the order was placed.

We are sorry that Poly Lawn was not the material you were looking for, but we respectfully disagree that the listing was misleading. Nevertheless, we were pleased to honour your return promptly and issue a full refund for the garments themselves.

According to our records, you have placed 19 orders with us over the years and have successfully used our returns process on several occasions, so you were already familiar with how to contact us and the options available if an item was not suitable.

We are therefore disappointed that, instead of contacting us to discuss your concerns or arranging a return under our 14-day returns policy, your first communication regarding this order was a public 1-star review.

We would also like to point out that the outfit purchased on this occasion was from our budget collection, priced at £15—the lowest-priced ready-to-wear collection we have ever offered. While these collections are designed to provide exceptional value, they remain genuine ready-to-wear garments, and we stand behind the quality appropriate to their price point.

If you believed there was a genuine stitching fault, we would have welcomed the opportunity to inspect the garment and, if a manufacturing defect had been found, to resolve the matter appropriately. Unfortunately, without any contact from you, we were never given that opportunity.

We truly value the custom you have given us over the years and are sorry that this purchase did not meet your expectations. However, we believe concerns are best resolved by allowing us the opportunity to help before concluding that the product is "absolutely rubbish."

We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future customers. Your order contained two dresses, yet your review refers specifically to the fit of the kameez, rather than both outfits. As we never received any contact from you, we were unfortunately not given the opportunity to determine whether there was a sizing issue with a particular garment or simply that one design was not the right fit.

We would also like to reassure you that the original postal packaging is not required to make a return. As long as an outfit is unused, in its original condition and with the tags still attached, it can be returned in any suitable packaging within our 14-day returns period. At the time of writing, you remain within that period and are welcome to return the item if it is unused.

As we stock ready-to-wear clothing from many different designers, sizing is not standardised across brands. This is why every product on our website includes its own detailed size chart with the actual garment measurements, allowing customers to compare the measurements before purchasing.

We genuinely appreciate your continued custom and are sorry that this particular outfit was not the right fit. Had you contacted us directly, we would have been more than happy to explain your return options and assist in resolving the matter.

Despite the lower price point, all product descriptions accurately state the fabric, specifications and sizing, and every product includes its own size chart because measurements vary between brands and designs.
