Exceptional support throughout a very complicated relocation
This was far from a standard shipment: around 20 mixed packages plus an e-bike, with delivery options to either Crete or Athens. The request also came with significant time pressure, which made the whole situation even more complicated.
I contacted more than 10 moving companies for a relocation from the UK to Greece. The price differences between most offers were relatively small considering the scale of the shipment, but Dominik from Ignite Relocations still managed to offer the best price — while also being by far the most flexible and accommodating.
He received my request at the very last minute and still prepared a solid, transparent final quote within just a few hours, without hidden fees suddenly appearing later. We even managed to arrange collection within 24 hours after confirming the contract. None of the other companies I contacted came close to that level of flexibility.
What really stood out was the communication. Fast, direct, highly responsive, but also genuinely human and personal. I never felt like just another anonymous customer in a queue — it honestly felt like they truly cared about finding a solution for my situation instead of simply processing another order.
The follow-up communication with the assigned project manager has also been excellent so far. Clear, professional, and very efficient. She guides me through every step of the process and helps with all the paperwork and administrative formalities, which are substantial for an international move like this.
If you need something that sounds almost impossible — but still want reasonable pricing and people who actually think instead of copy-pasting templates — don’t waste time looking elsewhere.
Update: I have just picked up the shipment in Athens!
Having now gone through the entire process, I can honestly say that shipping personal belongings from the UK to Greece is far more complicated than I ever expected. Even when you are simply moving your own possessions from one private address to another, the customs requirements can be surprisingly extensive.
Thanks to the patience, professionalism, and attention to detail of the Ignite Relocations team, we successfully navigated all the paperwork and administrative hurdles. Throughout the process, they were always available to answer questions, explain the next steps, and make sure nothing was overlooked.
One thing I particularly appreciated is that Ignite Relocations does not consider their job finished once they have collected the shipment and received payment. They stay involved throughout the entire journey. Since international relocations involve multiple partners and service providers, occasional misunderstandings can happen. Whenever that occurred, Ignite stepped in quickly, took ownership of the issue, and helped move everything forward.
Our shipment was definitely not a standard relocation, especially with the collection and delivery requirements we had. Nevertheless, everything was handled successfully from start to finish.
Based on my experience, I can recommend Ignite Relocations without hesitation.

Transatlantic move after finishing studies.
As a person in their mid 20’s finishing up studies in London my resources were limited, but the service at Ignite was nice and attentive, Emma helped me a lot since day one. I needed an efficient transatlantic move from the UK to the US, very last minute a few weeks before Christmas, with an affordable price + payment plan and all without me being outside the UK. After consulting different relocation agencies, Ignite was the one who best fit my needs. If I move countries again I would ask for their help.

I cannot recommend the team at Ignite more. Moving countries can be stressful and they just make it that much easier. I started working with Josh, who was amazing. He was extremely helpful and guided us through the whole process. I was then handed over to Louise who was simply amazing. Louise has the patience of a saint, she is kind and extremelly professional. Louise communication is second to none and talked us through the journey from removal and packing in the UK to storaging and delivering in South Africa.
The team at Ignite provide a workclass service. I cannot recomment them more.
